Notre Dame to receive an official visit from 2026 California 4-star edge rusher
Back in March when Notre Dame football offered 2026 California edge rusher Khary Wilder, the hope was that the relationship established would lead to bigger things.
That's exactly what happened on Tuesday, as On3's Mike Singer reported that the 6-foot, 4-inch and 250-pound defensive lineman will take an official visit to South Bend in mid-June, along with other trips to see Ohio State, UCLA and Washington in the summer.
Wilder is one of the top prospect in his class, ranking as the No. 247 overall player in the 247Sports Composite. It very much looks like his recruitment is between multiple Big Ten schools and the Irish, even though he also holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and others.
Notre Dame already has two big-time players at his position committed, Rodney Dunham and Ebenezer Ewetade, but as we have seen this past year, the Irish can never have enough pass rushers on their roster. Hopefully the official visit goes very well, and Wilder makes a trio of top-end recruits on the edge for Notre Dame.

Chicago defensive tackle Brayden Parks set to visit Notre Dame for Irish Invasion The godson of a Notre Dame legend is on his way to South Bend. Class of 2027 defensive tackle Brayden Parks will participate in the program's Irish Invasion event this weekend. Parks just so happens to have some Fighting Irish lineage as his godfather is Chris Zorich, who was an All-American nose guard on ND's 1988 national championship team. Zorich is also good friends with Parks' father, Marlon, since their days as high school teammates at Chicago Vocational. Additionally, his second cousin is Tony Jones Jr., who played running back for the Irish from 2016 to 2019. The Brother Rice (Chicago, IL) product recently wrapped up a visit to Oregon where he camped and impressed, and a trip to Ohio State follows after his visit with the Fighting Irish. The 6-foot-3, 305-pounder has a rare blend of speed, quick feet and power for his size, and his recruitment is just heating up. Auburn, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Oregon, Texas and USC are among the schools who have offered him. He has been clocked running a 4.8-second 40-yard dash and has a 350-pound bench press. Certainly he is a rare breed. Parks is teammates with Quentin Burrell, a top wide receiver prospect whom the Fighting Irish are interested in as well. Parks is part of a strong contingent of defensive line talent in the Chicago area, which also features 2028 prospect Caleb "Bonecrusher" Tucker, a 6-foot-5, 367-pound defensive tackle from reigning Illinois Class 7A champ Mount Carmel (Chicago, IL). Because of his numerous visits to South Bend throughout his life, Notre Dame fans have reason to be optimistic that Parks could play on the Irish defensive line like his godfather. Where Alabama football's 2026 recruiting class sits in rankings entering June As we enter the month of June, one could say that the Alabama Crimson Tide have yet to fully hit their stride on the recruiting trail. At the moment, the Crimson Tide hold only five current commitments in their 2026 recruiting class, each of which come from the state's of Alabama and Georgia. Of those five, one ranks as a five-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings in top cornerback Jorden Edmonds, while the others are all considered as four-star's. The four-star's are Zyan Gibson, Jamarion Matthews, Chris Booker, and Kamhariyan Johnson. However, with the calendar having now flipped to June, it marks what is usually a loaded month for recruiting at Alabama annually in which the Crimson Tide will host countless prospects for official visits, and could even land some commitments if last year is something to go off for Kalen DeBoer and staff.
