New Delhi: In a significant update in the ongoing rivalry between India and Pakistan, Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir has given a big nuclear threat against India. In the recent threat from the land of United States, Pakistan warned that its attack will not be limited to India only and it will destroy half the world with its nuclear weapons. How many nuclear missiles does Pakistan have?
However, one fact that needs to be noted is that Pakistan doesn't have nuclear-capable missiles which can hit beyond India and nearby areas. US State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce stated that US relations with India are 'good' while defending Washington's outreach to Pakistan, emphasising that having a president who communicates with everyone is beneficial.
'Our relationship with both nations is as it has been, which is good', she said on Tuesday when a reporter asked her if US President Donald Trump reaching out to Pakistan's military leader Asim Munir would be 'at the expense of the president's relationship with (Prime Minister) Modi'.
'That is the benefit of having a president who knows everyone, talks to everyone, and that is how we can bring differences together in this case', she said in defence of Trump's diplomacy towards Pakistan.

Instead Banning BLA, US Should Slap Sanctions On Pakistans Trrorist Army: Baloch leader
Tara Chand, chief of Baloch American Congress, on Thursday stated that instead of banning the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), US President Donald Trump should have slapped severe sanctions on the Pakistani Army, which he described as the world's number one terrorist army. The remarks came after the US recently designated the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and its front organisation, The Majeed Brigade (TMB), as foreign terrorist organisations (FTO). Taking to X, Chand posted, "Instead of targeting and banning the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), the Trump administration should have imposed tough sanctions on the Pakistani army, the world's number one terrorist army. This is the same army that sheltered Osama bin Laden for a decade and has long been the breeding ground for global terrorism." Calling Pakistan a terrorist state, Chand, also a former Cabinet Minister in the Government of Balochistan, asserted that the rogue country is "run by terrorists, and its army has created and supported countless extremist organisations that threaten world peace." For decades, the US-based Baloch leader said that Pakistan has unleashed a "campaign of terror, torture, and oppression" against the people in Balochistan. He urged the US to open its eyes, stand with the oppressed, and hold the Pakistani Army accountable. Earlier, on Wednesday, Chand slammed Pakistani Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir for making nuclear threats, calling him a "fake Field Marshal" and an "enemy" of humanity. This followed after Munir, during his US visit over the weekend, warned that Pakistan will never allow India to choke the Indus River and will defend its water rights at all costs, even if the forces will have to destroy any dam that India seeks to build on it. "Pakistan's fake Field Marshal, General Asim Munir, who has threatened in America to destroy India and the world with his nuclear bombs, should be ashamed of himself. He is the number one enemy of humanity, driven by the madness of religious extremism under the banner of Islam. He seeks to destroy the world along with India," Chand said in a post on X. Flagging it as a wake-up call, he called on the world leaders to take back all of Pakistan's nuclear weapons and impose economic, political, and international sanctions on the country. Raising concern, Chand stated that before "religiously-motivated" Pakistan and its leadership can act on their destructive ambitions, their nuclear weapons have to be removed in order to prevent the rogue state from bringing harm to the world.

3-Tiered Counter-Infiltration Grid Deployed Along LoC Ahead Of Independence Day
Kupwara (Jammu and Kashmir): The Indian Army has deployed a three-tiered robotic counter-infiltration grid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar village of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, ahead of the 79th Independence Day celebrations. Speaking to ANI on Thursday, an Indian Army officer said that the troops are tasked with ensuring zero infiltration along the LoC. "Our task as the troops deployed on the ground is to establish, maintain and ensure zero infiltration and establish a zero infiltration grid in this area... We do that in three layers," the Army officer said. Describing the three-tier grid, he said that the first layer of defence is the surveillance equipment, including radars, thermal imaging sites, weapon and helmet-mounted sites, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). He said, "We use the plethora of surveillance equipment which has been given to us by the government of India, including radars, various thermal imaging sites, weapon and helmet-mounted sites, and UAVs." The Army official added that the second layer is the obstacle system, which includes mines. "Number two is the obstacle system, which we have incorporated into our defences. We have placed various types of mines and optical systems throughout the entire area of responsibility," he told ANI. The third layer is the army personnel on the ground involved in routine ambushes and patrolling, He said, "Number three is us, the men on the ground... We ensure that we send out routine ambushes and patrols to dominate the entire area either physically, by observation, or by fire." Meanwhile, on Tuesday, media personnel were granted a rare opportunity to witness the Indian Army's unwavering courage and dedication along the LoC in the remote regions of Sunderbani. According to a release, the commitment to continuously evolve, change and integrate exemplifies the Indian Army's dedication to maintain peak operational readiness. Technological advancements were also on display, such as the Smart Fence System that enhances border security and surveillance. Newly introduced equipment--including Quadcopters, Advanced Surveillance Tools, Bulletproof Vehicles, All-Terrain Vehicles, Modern Weapons, and Night Vision Sights -- was also displayed, underscoring the confidence in innovation & integration among our troops. India will celebrate its 79th Independence Day on August 15, 2025.
