Amazing to work with – Lewis Hamilton dismisses Riccardo Adami ‘speculation'
Hamilton and Adami were involved in a number of fractious radio exchanges during last Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix.
The seven-time world champion finished fifth in Monte Carlo, 51 seconds behind winner Lando Norris and 48 seconds adrift of Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc who took second.

After he crossed the line, Hamilton asked Adami: 'Are you upset with me or something?' Hamilton did not appear to receive an answer from the Italian.
Addressing the post-race message ahead of this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, Hamilton replied: 'It was literally just there were areas where we had radio problems through the race, and I did not get the information that I wanted. We spoke afterwards.
'There is a lot of speculation and most of it is BS. We have a great relationship. He is amazing to work with. He is a great guy. He is working so hard, we both are.'
Hamilton won six of his record-equalling seven world titles with Peter 'Bono' Bonnington at his side with Mercedes. However, Bonnington could not be persuaded to join Hamilton at Ferrari.
In their first race together, Hamilton pleaded with Adami to 'leave me to it' in the rain in Australia, and then accused his team of having 'a tea break' as they deliberated whether to move Leclerc out of his way at the Miami Grand Prix last month.
Adami worked with Sebastian Vettel, first at Toro Rosso, before he followed the four-time world champion to Ferrari. Adami was Carlos Sainz's race engineer before Hamilton replaced the Spaniard at Ferrari.
Hamilton continued: 'We don't always get it right every weekend. Do we have disagreements? Yes, like everyone does in relationships. But we work through them. We are both in it together. We both want to win a world championship together and we are both working towards lifting the team up.
'So it is just all noise and we are not paying attention to it. It doesn't make a difference to the job we are trying to do.

'Our relationship is great. And there are no problems. We are constantly learning more and more about each other and adapting the way we want to work. He has worked with lots of different drivers before. But we don't have any problems whatsoever. '
Hamilton heads into the ninth round of his Ferrari career 98 points behind championship leader Oscar Piastri. Hamilton won a sprint race at the second round in China but has failed to finish on the podium since completing his blockbuster move from Mercedes to Ferrari.

Michael Dunlop takes Supertwin glory to increase Isle of Man TT tally to 31: ‘I still want to improve'
Dunlop has been the man to beat in the class in recent years and he followed up his double in 2024 with another comfortable win on the Italian Paton S1-R, coming home over 22 seconds ahead of Manxman Michael Evans (Dafabet Racing Kawasaki), who was celebrating his first TT podium on his birthday. Dunlop's latest victory – his second of race week after he won Monday's opening Supersport race – was a record 48th podium for the Ballymoney man. Wigan's Rob Hodson was also celebrating his first TT podium as he finished third on the SMT Racing Paton, 13 seconds behind runner-up Evans. Dunlop said: 'I felt good and just got bedded into it, and I thought it was Michael [Evans]. I was up 10 seconds on him and I assumed that's who it was. 'Obviously this job here is just a nursing match and the bike wasn't overly strong today for some reason – that's not being rude to the lads – the bike was good, but it just lacked a wee bit and Michael kept trying to pass me. 'I think he realised there was no point because I'd jam it back in again! 'Thanks to the Paton lads again and it's 31 wins now, and I'd like to thank them and I appreciate all the work they do for me. 'My Italian's not great and my English is even worse, but I've a great working relationship and I've a lot of time for the boys and we'll sit down tonight, improve and keep going. I'm happy, everything's good.' Reflecting on yet another win around the legendary 37.73-mile Mountain Course, Dunlop said he was feeling good with two wins from four races so far. Dunlop won four races 12 months ago for the second consecutive year and is already on course to repeat the feat. Tuesday's race schedule was switched to an evening contingency plan after heavy rain and high winds on Monday night left roads wet in places and deemed unsuitable for racing in the afternoon following an inspection lap. North West 200 Supertwin race winner Paul Jordan narrowly missed out on a podium last night on the Jackson Racing Aprilia by only 1.757s to Hodson. Davey Todd, Monday's Superbike winner, was fifth on the Milenco by Padgett's Racing Paton with Dominic Herbertson completing the top six on the Melbray Racing Paton ahead of Ulsterman Adam McLean (Flitwick Yamaha). A second Supertwin race is due to be held on Friday, when Dunlop will be the favourite for honours once more.

Revealed: Lewis Hamilton APOLOGISED off-camera to Sky Sports presenter after terse interview following Spanish GP - where Ferrari star made a brutal admission about his team
Lewis Hamilton issued an off-air apology to Sky Sports presenter Rachel Brookes following his downbeat interview following the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday. The Ferrari driver came home in seventh but was bumped up one place after Max Verstappen careered into George Russell, an incident which saw him demoted down to 10th. Unable to keep up with the two McLarens and Verstappen, Hamilton was told to let Charles Leclerc pass him early in the race, giving his team-mate a leg up as he went on to finish third. Hamilton's frustrations were increased when he was passed by Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg on the penultimate lap of the race. The 40-year-old, who joined Ferrari on a £40million-deal this year, was visibly frustrated when interviewed by Brookes for Sky Sports after the race. Pressed on his comment over team radio that there was 'something wrong' with his car, and for his immediate reaction to the race, Hamilton replied: 'Not particularly, it was not a great day. The strategy was good, the team did a great job. Just, that's it.' Brookes then told Hamilton: 'I hate seeing you in this mood.' Hamilton quickly responded, replying: 'Well what do you want me to say? I had a really bad day and I've got nothing to say. 'It was a difficult day, I've got nothing else to add to it. There's no point explaining it. It's not your fault, I've just not got anything to say.' Brookes admitted she hopes Ferrari will be able to find a fix for his woes, but Hamilton said: 'I'm sure they won't, the answer is probably just me.' Sky Sports commentator David Croft, speaking on T he Fast and The Curious podcast, has now revealed Hamilton had apologised to Brookes off-camera for the nature of the interview. '[Lewis Hamilton] was really down on himself, and no one likes to see that because at the end of the day, whether you're a fan or not, Lewis Hamilton is the greatest racing driver we've ever seen,' Croft said. 'Statistically, he is the greatest. I think he's the greatest even without the stats. He wears his heart on his sleeve and should be applauded for that because it does a lot of good when he wears his heart on his sleeve. 'He did apologise to Rachel Brookes for being so down in the dumps off camera. He said, "I'm really sorry about that, I'm just so down". 'And that just shows the extent that he really was down. He's not putting this on for the cameras, trust me. And once again, it's right after the race. He's not had time for a debrief. He's not had time to have a chat with his race engineer. 'So he probably didn't know the extent of whatever damage the car had at the time he spoke to Rachel. 'And he probably didn't realise that it was the car that was hindering him more so than his driving in that one. 'And look, when you're in a Ferrari and you're overtaken by Nico Hülkenberg, albeit in a Ferrari-powered Sauber, you're going to question, 'Is it me really? Am I doing something wrong here?' Because it just didn't go for him really from the outset.' Reports have since claimed Hamilton had picked up floor damage during the race, which may have impacted his Ferrari in the closing stages on Sunday. Hamilton currently trails Ferrari team-mate Leclerc by 23 points in the drivers' championship, with the seven-time world champion is sixth in the overall standings. Hamilton has finished six of his first nine Ferrari races outside of the top five since making the lucrative move.
