The Indiana Fever are in action on Tuesday as they look to make it three straight wins amid Caitlin Clark's injury absence. It's a road game for the 4-4 Fever with the Atlanta Dream hosting a shorthanded Indiana side at Gateway Center Arena.

The WNBA posted a video of the Fever's arrival at the venue, which was an opportunity for the players to show off their pregame outfits. Six-time All-Star DeWanna Bonner immediately stood out with her all-black ensemble that featured a halter-style top and wide-leg trousers.
Bonner was more than happy to strike a pose for the cameras, too. Coming next to her was Sophie Cunningham, whose fit didn't exactly match her teammate's powerful, fashion-forward look. The seventh-year guard went for a simpler, sportier vibe that featured an oversized long-sleeve sweatshirt, black leggings, a pair of white sneakers and a white baseball cap.

Cunningham was visibly shocked after seeing Bonner strut her stuff like she was on a fashion runway, and she admittedly did not know how she was going to follow up her teammate's pose.

Cunningham tried her best, and her hilarious behavior caught the attention of the WNBA.
"When the group chat didn't discuss a dress code. DeWanna Bonner pulled up looking runway ready, and Sophie Cunningham didn't know how to follow it up 🤣," the league wrote.

As the WNBA indicated in its post, Bonner and Cunningham clearly failed to coordinate their outfits. It looked like they were attending two entirely different events.
At the end of the day, though, both players headed into the arena with the same goal in mind, and that is to get the W. Cunningham, however, will need to support her team from the sidelines as she continues to nurse an ankle injury.

Cunningham, who joined the Fever as an offseason recruit, will miss her third straight game due to the ankle issue, but she could potentially return in Indiana's next contest, which is on Saturday against the defending champions, New York Liberty.

Short-handed Fever suffer another blow as Sophie Cunningham sustains season-ending injury

The injury-riddled Indiana Fever suffered another blow Tuesday when they announced guard Sophie Cunningham would miss the rest of this season with a knee injury. She was hurt during Sunday's victory at Connecticut. Team officials did not provide details about the injury, the third season-ending one Indiana has experienced in August. Guard Sydney Colson tore the ACL in her left knee on Aug. 7 in a game at Phoenix. Guard Aari McDonald broke a bone in her right foot in the same game. And two-time All-Star guard Caitlin Clark still has not played since injuring her right groin in mid-July. Coach Stephanie White has not provided a timetable for Clark's return other than to say the Fever hope that Clark returns before the regular-season finale Sept. 9 against Minnesota. With so many key players out, the outspoken Cunningham played a key role in helping Indiana stay in the playoff mix. She was averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals. Indiana also announced it has signed Shey Peddy to a seven-day hardship contract. The six-year veteran was averaging 5.0 points and 2.7 assists in six games with the Los Angeles Sparks. She also has played with Phoenix and Washington during her career. The Fever also released guard Kyra Lambert.

WWE star Naomi announces pregnancy, relinquishes women's championship

WWE star Naomi relinquished the Women's World Championship on Monday as she announced she's pregnant with her first child. Naomi won the title when she cashed in her Money in the Bank contract during a match between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley at Evolution. She then retained the title at SummerSlam, winning a triple-threat match that included Sky and Ripley. Last week, WWE said she wasn't cleared to compete in a title defense against Sky. It sparked speculation that Naomi could have been injured and may have to be out for a while. However, she appeared on the latest episode of "Monday Night Raw" and announced her personal news. She asked fans to view the videoboard. She and her real-life husband Jimmy Uso appeared on "What's Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon" and he announced they were expecting a child. "I'm pregnant and I'm having a baby," Naomi added. Back in the ring, Naomi was a bit emotional as the WWE fans cheered her on. She was a bit reluctant to relinquish the championship she fought so hard to win back. "I ain't handing you s---," she told RAW general manager Adam Pearce. "My hormones are jumping like a disco. This ain't the time nor place so I advise you to get the hell out of my face." Naomi said the women in the WWE locker room should be thanking Uso because without him they wouldn't have stood a chance of taking the title off of her. However, Naomi laid the championship in the middle of the ring and vacated the belt. "On the bright side, I guess the bloodline continues baby!" she added with her patented maniacal laugh. She vowed that she would come back for the title in "nine months and some change." "Even if I gotta come back breastfeeding with my baby in my arms, I'm coming back to pick up where I left off," she said.
