And while the massive three-bedroom home only set the couple back £6,000, they shared their fears that they may have bitten off more than they can chew.
Posting on the family's TikTok account The Rolling Rucks, the mum-of-three gave viewers a virtual tour of the home.
She explained that they drove from their native South Wales to the property in their camper van to inspect their purchase.
However, upon arriving at the home, she wondered aloud if they had made a mistake.
She revealed that the property is "much much bigger" than they had expected.
While the TikToker was only able to show one room inside the home, she did give her followers a look around the garden.
Garden woes
She shared her concerns that they would have to knock down some of the structure to create room for their camper van.
The mum added that they would also need "a chainsaw or five" to tackle the overgrown garden.
However, her main concern with the outdoor space had nothing to do with the extensive work required.
"I am freaking out about the snakes because this garden, there's going to be tons of them in there," she said.
I've moved to hidden historic town where houses are the price of handbags & pints are cheaper than Tesco sandwiches
The mum revealed that once they had tackled the garden, they would inspect the home to determine if it was worth saving.
She explained that they were considering knocking it down and replacing it with a log cabin instead.
"Now we knew we had a challenge on our hands but I'm not going to lie, this is a lot worse than what I was expecting," the TikToker said.
She added that they were going to get to work on the property straight away, with the hopes of homeschooling their three children in the process.

5 Tips to Get on The Property Ladder
Saving for your first property is tough, but it is possible. Here are a few steps for first-time buyers.
1. Cut back on luxuries and start saving
Consistent monthly saving is the best way to accumulate enough money to get on the ladder, for a deposit and purchase fees. To do this, you need to take a look at your monthly outgoings and think about what can be cut out - holidays, new clothes, weekly takeaway.
Using a savings calculator can help you to establish how long you will need to save for a deposit. Based on your income, you can figure out a realistic amount to save each month.
2. Have a realistic property search
Set a budget for the property price you would like to buy, and think realistically about the location and size of your property. While we all may want that house with a view or extra bedroom, can you afford it?
3. Research Help To Buy and Shared Ownership schemes
The government has introduced a few ways to help first-time-buyers get on the property ladder and they're great for those on lower incomes or to buy a property in more expensive areas like London.
4. Consider buying with another person
Investing with somebody else you know is a sure way to get onto the property ladder. You only need to save half the amount you would otherwise, so you can work towards getting your property sooner.
You can invest with a friend, family or partner. Naturally, it is a big step and a huge commitment so be open and honest about what you expect from living together — if you haven't already.
5. Talk to a mortgage broker and get your documents in order
A mortgage broker can tell you exactly how much you can borrow for a mortgage, what you will need to pay monthly and in upfront costs.
"Best to clear your garden, knock down and rebuild," advised one viewer.
"The potential is amazing. Stay positive and remember Rome wasn't built in a day," said another follower.
"I'm a builder and I wouldn't take on that. But best of luck with it," commented a third person.

Hidden gem UK beach no one knows about with golden sands and dolphins

Aberporth Beach in Ceredigion is an idyllic spot for a summer getaway and is home to two sandy beaches Tucked away in the charming Welsh coastal village of Aberporth lies one of the UK's best kept secret beaches, perfect for a summer visit. As the mercury rises and schools prepare to close for the six-week holiday, families across the country are on the hunt for activities - and Aberporth Beach in Ceredigion should be high on their list. ‌ Despite its singular name, Aberporth Beach is actually two separate beaches. The first, Dyffryn Beach, is located in the east, while Dolwen Beach can be found to the west. ‌ Both are stunningly beautiful, incredibly sandy, and host an array of fantastic wildlife, attracting tourists from far and wide to this lesser-known haven. Although it doesn't currently hold Blue Flag status, it was awarded the honour in 2023, and its water quality remains rated as 'good', reports the Express. The beach boasts sandy shores with a gentle slope into the water, making it a prime spot for swimmers and various other seaside pursuits. ‌ Many believe it's at its most beautiful at low tide, when rock pools appear, teeming with local wildlife. Expect to see orcas, porpoises, sunfish and sharks as you explore the wonders of Aberporth Beach. ‌ And let's not forget the vast stretch of sand, providing the perfect canvas for those wishing to soak up the sun, work on their tan and unwind. It's a paradise for those who love to build sandcastles, with plenty of sand to spare. A scenic clifftop walk to neighbouring Tresaith offers breathtaking sea views and the chance to spot bottlenose dolphins in Cardigan Bay. ‌ Keep an eye out for the area's prized dolphin statue, standing tall on the headland between Dolwen and Dyffryn beaches. The maritime heritage of Aberporth is evident in its local restaurants and eateries, where visitors can indulge in freshly caught seafood from the coast, including Cardigan Bay lobster and crab - two of the most delicious local treats. Beach amenities include a cafe, toilets, disabled facilities, a first-aid point, a shower and a slipway. Activities such as fishing, sailing, swimming, surfing, and windsurfing are also available. When they say everyone is welcome at Aberporth Beach, they mean it - even your four-legged friends. Dogs are allowed all year round, although there are some restrictions on Dolwen Beach from September to June. However, visitors are reminded to respect this peaceful holiday destination and protect the local ecosystem by keeping it clean and safe for everyone to enjoy, regardless of when they visit.

Lions star lost a stone in 12 days as as 'getting off the toilet was an issue'

British and Irish Lions fullback Hugo Keenan endured a slow start to the tour of Australia with the Irishman's illness seeing him married to the toilet as he lost considerable weight Test probable Hugo Keenan has revealed how his entire Lions tour nearly went down the toilet after he was laid up for nearly two weeks with a stomach bug. The Irish full-back, who arrived in Australia nursing a knee injury, was laid low by a virus that saw him lose close to a stone in weight ahead of his opening appearance down under against the Waratahs in Sydney last weekend. ‌ The 29-year-old had a shocker that night but, with Blair Kinghorn struggling with a knee injury, put his hand up for this weekend's Test opener in Brisbane against the Wallabies in Saturday's 48-0 win over an AUNZ Invitational XV in Adelaide. ‌ But Leinster's Keenan admitted being confined to barracks, after the tourists first landed in Western Australia, for their opener against the Force on 28 June was not the best start to his life with the Lions. Keenan said: 'It wasn't exactly what you planned on when getting on tour. I was sick for about 12 days, it was rough. Getting off the toilet was an issue, and I lost about five or six kilos. There was a little bit of a virus going around camp but for whatever reason it hit me on a different level. READ MORE: British and Irish Lions star owns up to bedroom blunder after arriving late to camp 'I was isolating for a good bit, and most lads recovered pretty quick from it, but I've never had something like that. God, it was pretty horrible. It was frustrating. Every day you think you're going to be waking up the next day better. You think it's going to be sort of a 24-hour, 48-hour thing. The tour will hopefully kick on for me here and I can start enjoying it a bit more. ‌ 'It was a challenge but that's part of touring life, isn't it? All these little bits, manning up as much as you can. I felt terrible in that Waratahs game. But look, sometimes you just have to front up and do what's needed.' Keenan is trying to pile on the pounds, to get close to his fighting weight of around 15 stone, with the help of touring nutritionist, Professor Graeme Close, part of a massive back-room staff which dwarfs the playing squad. ‌ Keenan added: 'I'm getting there now, I'm still a few kilos off, still probably not filling out that jersey like I was, but it'll be fine, I'll get there. I'm working with Closey, he's been unbelievable. Making me high-calorie shakes and trying to get as many fluids into me to get the weight back on. Fair play to him.' Keenan pulled his weight from full-back as head coach Andy Farrell's side showed a bit of cohesion in attack at the Adelaide Oval. 'We knew we had that performance in us,' said Keenan. 'To put a team like that to nil with their quality is a real step forward. Everybody's hungry to play next week, everybody wants to be involved, so it's exactly what Faz is looking for, competition throughout the squad, all positions, and that's a real healthy thing to have.'
