Ex-NFL star Antonio Brown wanted on attempted murder charge
MIAMI, June 13 (UPI) -- Former NFL star Antonio Brown is wanted on an attempted murder charge in Miami, documents show.
A Miami-Dade County judge on Wednesday signed an arrest warrant, which was obtained by the Washington Post and WSVN Miami, charging Brown of attempted murder with a firearm. His bond was set at $10,000, with a stipulation to remain under house arrest until a trial.
The matter stems from a May 17 incident, which was chronicled on social media with videos and post, which occurred outside a boxing event in Miami hosted by influencer Adin Ross.
Videos appeared to show Brown holding a gun before gunshots were heard.
Brown claimed he was "jumped by multiple individuals" who tried to steal his jewelry and cause him harm. Brown said he was temporarily detained by police and released, but never arrested.
"I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me," Brown wrote on X at the time. "I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process. Thank you for the support and love."
Brown, 36, spent his final NFL season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021. The seven-time Pro Bowl selection and four-time All-Pro spent nine of his 12 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brown joined quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in 2019. He joined Brady again in 2020 when he was with the Buccaneers.
Brown's 928 receptions rank 25th in NFL history. His 84.2 receiving yards per game rank fourth in NFL history.

Law enforcement sources tell us authorities in Miami-Dade County, Florida are seeking to arrest the former NFL wide receiver on a charge of attempted murder stemming from a shooting at a celebrity boxing event in May. We covered the incident -- AB was briefly detained by police following an intense dust-up involving a gun at Adin Ross' Brand Risk kickboxing event just over a month ago. Video obtained by TMZ shows him getting into a physical altercation with men he claimed tried to jump him and steal his jewelry ... and another clip shows him fleeing the scene with what appears to be a gun in his hand -- before clear gunshots are heard ripping through the air. Zül-Qarnaįn subsequently told TMZ Sports he was one of the men involved in the scuffle with Antonio ... further claiming he unloaded some bullets right at him -- with kids around during the incident. Now, David Ovalle of the Washington Post is reporting an unnamed victim met with law enforcement and claimed AB opened fire at him following the physical altercation, which prompted the warrant for his arrest. Alleged Antonio Brown Shooting Target Claims Dispute Stemmed From Money Remark
The man who Antonio Brown allegedly tried to kill in a shooting last month says the dispute that led to the gunfire was sparked by a remark about money. Zül-Qarnain Nantambu joined Charles and Elex on "TMZ Live" on Friday and explained he and Brown had big beef long before their differences turned physical outside of a celebrity boxing event back on May 16. Nantambu alleged that a few years ago, when they were both in Dubai for a Floyd Mayweather fight, Brown stole some jewelry from him. Nantambu said the incident actually resulted in a lawsuit, which he claims ended in a judgment against the former NFL star. Nantambu said when he hit up Adin Ross' Brand Risk event in Miami and saw Brown there -- he reminded the ex-Steelers receiver about the debt he owed ... "and then that's when the attack happened." Nantambu claimed Brown hit him ... and then several of the athlete's friends raced in to tag him as well. He said it all resulted in him needing seven stitches just above his eye. He added that he believes a bullet that Brown eventually fired at him toward the end of the altercation might have grazed his neck. As you know, an arrest warrant for Brown has been issued over the allegations ... but he hasn't seemed to sweat it much -- posting a video of him Friday riding a bike with a smile on his face. The charge Brown is currently facing is felony attempted second-degree murder with a firearm.

The lawsuit claims that the complexes have deceived its primarily low-income senior tenants. The complexes have allegedly deceived future and current tenants of rent increases, property quality, amenity quality and building safety. SEATTLE - Attorney General Nick Brown sues five apartment complexes in Western Washington he alleges "deceived" low-income senior tenants. Brown filed a complaint Friday in Snohomish County Superior Court against the apartment complexes and property management firm, FPI Management, for deceptive practices against senior tenants. What we know The following Western Washington apartment complexes are part of the lawsuit: Vintage at Everett Vintage at Mill Creek Vintage at Sequim Vintage at Tacoma Cedar Pointe Apartments FPI has been allegedly violating the Consumer Protection Act over the last several years, after the management company and the property owners failed to disclose rent increases, apartment unit quality, property safety and the quality of apartment amenities like pools and gyms. FPI markets its apartments to tenants 55 years and older who are also low-income. Brown claims that the company does not inform future tenants that their rent will be decided on Area Median Income, resulting in seniors paying more than the Social Security or pension incomes they live on. What they're saying "Housing is particularly important for older Washingtonians, and it's hard for them to move once they've signed a lease," said Brown in a statement. "It's egregious to convince vulnerable populations they're getting quality living when in reality they are stuck with properties in disrepair that also end up costing more than they expected over time." Additionally, FPI has allegedly deceived tenants of the quality of their apartment units, building quality and amenity qualities. FPI markets the quality of its buildings as "luxury" and "resort style" but photos of the buildings show broken appliances, mold, leaks and other building damage. Some amenities the apartments promised to tenants were either nonexistent, shut down or broken. The apartment complexes also raised concerns around safety, as many did not have anyone monitoring people or vehicles entering and exiting the property, which has led to trespassing, theft and vandalism. What's next Brown's complaint calls for an injunction that prevents FPI and property owners from continuing the alleged unlawful activity. It also seeks a civil penalty of $12,500 for each Consumer Protection Act violation, restitution to impacted tenants and coverage of legal costs.
