Lee Claydon is believed to have fallen from the upper tier during the band's sell-out gig at Wembley on Saturday. 5 Lee Claydon could be seen at the Oasis gig before he fell to his death Credit: Facebook/@lillyclaydon 5 Lee's devastated family have paid tribute Credit: Facebook The dad had attended the show with his brother Aaron, niece and nephew. His niece Lilly Claydon posted an emotional tribute on Facebook alongside a photo of Lee at the gig. He can be seen beaming alongside Lilly with his arm in the hair and a bucket hat on. She wrote: "What a night we all had lee. The best uncle, I have no words I'll never forget you uncle lee lee." The horror unfolded on Saturday as fireworks exploded around the stadium. Lee's devastated dad Clive Claydon, 75, told The Sun he believed his son had slipped on beer before the tragedy. He added: "There was beer all over the floor, it was really slippery, and Lee just slipped and fell. "I've been told that it was an accident waiting to happen. It was a horrible, horrible accident." Clive also told how Lee was a lifelong Oasis fan and had been looking forward to seeing the band reunite after 15 years. He wept as he told how the "family man" was due to go on a big holiday in two weeks with his kids and girlfriend. The dad added: "Out of all the thousands of people there why's it got to be my son? "I am going to miss him so much. Everyone will. I am so devastated." Lee's brother Aaron, who had also attended the show, launched a GoFundMe which has now reached almost £20,000. He had shared a Facebook post before the gig, with Lee commenting: "Cheers our kid". While Lee's partner Amanda said she would "never stop loving you" and called Lee her "soulmate". She added: "I don't have many words right now but it's not fair and it's not right that you're not here with us! "I am so grateful to have spent the time we had even though this cruel world has cut it way too short! "We had so much to look forward to! I will try my best to be strong for all." On Sunday, Oasis said in a statement they were "shocked and saddened" to hear of the death of a fan. They added: "Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved." A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said: 'Wembley Stadium operates to a very high health and safety standard, fully meeting legal requirements for the safety of spectators and staff, and is certified to and compliant with the ISO 45001 standard. "We are regularly inspected by certifying authorities both on an event day and throughout the year, and we regularly review and test our plans to ensure adherence to the conditions set within the stadium's general safety certificate. "We work very closely and collaboratively with all relevant event delivery stakeholders - including event owners, local authorities, the Sports Ground Safety Authority and the police - to deliver events to high standards of safety, security and service for everyone attending or working in the venue.' 5 The Gallagher brothers paid tribute Credit: Alamy 5 Lee reportedly slipped on beer and fell Credit: Facebook

Edinburgh Festival Fringe: 'I went to see an '80s TV icon and left after 20 minutes'
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info The British television icon, Bobby Davro, has returned for his second full length run at the Edinburgh Fringe. I was warned in advance about what to expect, however in an attempt at maintaining journalistic neutrality, I went into this experience with an open mind. I've always been of the persuasion that all art is inherently political… and I still do believe that, however what Bobby Davro does is not art at all, and it certainly isn't political - it's just rehearsing 90 minutes worth of the things reposted on Facebook by your uncle that no longer gets invited to Christmas. The show opens with a satirical disclaimer poking fun at the 'woke' agenda, followed by a singalong of The Proclaimers' '500 Miles' where he encourages his audience to chant his name during the chorus - something I'm told he's been doing for a very long time, this got a good response. From the outset, Davro makes repeated gags about trans and queer people, the one receiving the best audience reaction being his intentional misspelling of LGBTQ+ … a joke I'm sure took him hours to come up with. Other jokes in the show featured such explosive comedy as 'I'm not racist, I've got a colour TV' as well as upon gesturing to an audience member, 'look, she laughed so much at that one she's got tears dribbling down her leg!'. Some of the women in the crowd appeared visibly disturbed and at times confused by the 'jokes' being told on stage and while at no point do I claim that I speak for women - I'm fairly comfortable saying that this show is not targeted towards a female audience… at all. Join Edinburgh Live's Whatsapp Community here and get the latest news sent straight to your messages Davro's material gave off the impression he was trying his absolute hardest to be edgy, but just didn't quite have it in him to be witty or nuanced about it whatsoever. This performance had no charm, substance or depth. The act would have been somewhat meta or reflective if it were written about 30 years ago and by the sound of the material itself, it was. Listen, Bobby Davro (Robert Christopher Nankeville) has the right to earn a living as much as anybody, unfortunately for him I just don't think the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the place to do that. In truth I left this show about 20 minutes in, I felt uncomfortable and cringed out for my entire time there. I'd like to offer my utmost apologies to Mr Davro if the part of the show I missed turned into the most profound, era defining comedy anyone's ever seen… but I sincerely doubt it.
