MICK KENNEDY insists East Kilbride are going to have a massive party before they even start plotting a rapid rise through the SPFL.
Ambitious Kilby finally made it out of the Lowland League at the fourth attempt after seeing off Bonnyrigg in the goal-less battle in Midlothian.

They'll be in the SPFL next season
The damage was done in the pyramid final first leg with Kennedy's side travelling to the outskirts of Edinburgh with a 3-1 lead.
And just 12 months after they blew the chance to earn promotion in a devastating extra-time loss to Stranraer, Kennedy was thrilled his players finally made history.
He said: 'I don't think there is a ceiling at the club to be fair.
"I think the aspiration for the club needs to be that it'll probably have a five-year target to try and get to the Championship.
'I think that's what we need to set ourselves, we need some kind of target, some kind of plan.
'We need something to put in front of us and it's down to myself and the club to work towards that.
'But before that there'll be a massive party
'It's been a long journey for the club. The owners have invested a lot of money and they've worked hard to get to this position, it felt like it was never going to come.
'So I'm sure there'll be a party at East Kilbride.'
A dry, bumpy surface at New Dundas Park meant this game was always going to be a battle and that's the way it worked out.

Kilby ditched the silky football and rolled up the sleeves to match Bonnyrigg's aggression.
Rose keeper Paddy Martin kept his side in the game in the first half with two stunning saves to keep out Joao Balde and Reagan Mimnuagh drives.
Jamie Hamilton had the ball in the net after the break but his effort was ruled out for offside.
The sound of referee Euan Anderson's full-time whistle sparked a pitch invasion from the travelling fans as Kilby finally realised their dream of making it into the fourth tier.

'The boys have been brilliant, they've given me absolutely everything.
'We've just felt a little bit short over the two legs and credit to East Kilbride, they were a good side.

Gyokeres expected to join Man Utd as Haaland role emerges - 'I know him well'

Viktor Gyokeres is looking to head to Manchester United this summer according to singer and Coventry City fan Tom Grennan - who has remained friendly with the Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres will head to Manchester United this summer so that he can be neighbours with Erling Haaland according to musician Tom Grennan. The Swede has excelled at Sporting Lisbon for the past two years, which has resulted in interest from around Europe. The Premier League is touted as his most likely destination with the Red Devils and Arsenal the two leading the race for his signature. ‌ Gyokeres scored more than 50 goals last term and has been tipped to reunite with Amorim in Manchester after the Portuguese boss swapped Lisbon for Old Trafford midway through the campaign. ‌ United are looking to bolster their forward line and Gyokeres would be able to supply goals on a regular basis. His career has skyrocketed since he left Championship side Coventry City. Grennan is a fan of the Sky Blues and remains good pals with their former striker. He said on the BBC podcast You About?: "I know him well. I actually messaged him and he said that there's different conversations going on. Do you know who his best friend is? Haaland. That is why I think he'll go to Manchester United because he'll be next door to Haaland." Haaland has been hugely impressive and successful during his three years in England. He's just missed out on the Premier League title for the first time but has broken numerous records since swapping Borussia Dortmund for Manchester City. Those on the blue half of Manchester remain the city's dominant force and finished some 29 points ahead of United. Amorim is tasked with making the Red Devils a winning-outfit once more and adding Gyokeres would help their chances and the striker has an agreement to leave the club. However it is understood that Gyokeres has been left fuming with Sporting after they demanded more for him than they promised as he looks for a way out of the Portuguese club. The Lisbon outfit have been demanding £67million for him. Previously they agreed that they would demand £50m plus £8.4m in add-ons this summer - meaning they asked for almost £10m more, reports Record. The Swede recently addressed his future and said: 'Let us see. It's hard for me to say, because yeah it is football and you never know what's going to happen in the summer. So for me to say anything else than that is impossible.'

Cumbernauld Colts boss has target date to play on new Broadwood pitch as side prepare for 'outside' friendlies

John Doyle on the Lowland League side's pre-season schedule Cumbernauld Colts boss John Doyle is hoping his side can get their first game on the new Broadwood pitch before they kick off their Lowland League campaign on July 26. The pitch at the stadium is being relayed this summer and owners North Lanarkshire Council have told the club - and groundsharing Hamilton Accies - that the surface will be ready in time for the start of the new season. ‌ Colts will play their home friendlies on the outside public pitch at Broadwood while the works are going on, but Doyle is hopeful their final friendly on July 19 against local rivals Cumbernauld United for the pre-season Cumbernauld Cup will be played inside Broadwood. ‌ He said: 'Broadwood outside is not ideal preparation. You would want to get a few games on the new surface and find your feet on it before the start of the season, but it is what it is. 'We are hoping to play our last friendly on July 19 against Cumbernauld United on the pitch, but it is still to be confirmed yet that the pitch will be ready in time. 'We hope that will be the first time we get to use it and we will get to train on it that week in the build-up to our first league game of the season. 'The council haven't told us a date but they have guaranteed it will be by the first league game of the season, which is July 26.' ‌ Colts announced their pre-season friendlies will kick off on June 26 with a clash against West Park United, kick-off 1.30pm outside at Broadwood. That is followed by a trip to Kirkintilloch Rob Roy on June 30, kick-off 8pm, and a clash with St Mirren B is scheduled for July, although details for that are to be confirmed. Shotts Bon Accord will come to Broadwood on July 12, kick-off 2pm, and Colts will then visit Camelon Juniors on July 15, kick-off 7.30pm, before finishing up with the clash against Cumbernauld United on July 19. The club will announce exact details on that in due course.

Promotion: Tony Pulis doesn't rule out Wrexham going up

That is the view of Tony Pulis who believes nothing is impossible at The Racecourse. The Reds finished runners-up in League One last term to go straight up to the Championship where they will line-up for the first time in 43 years. Having made history by clinching back-to-back-to-back promotions, with the club climbing from the National League to the second tier at a rapid rate, Wrexham will make the biggest step-up yet when they come up against the likes of Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Southampton. But former Premier League manager Pulis says Parkinson knows that is needed in this division, where he managed Bolton Wanderers, and refuses to discount Wrexham. Pulis told BoyleSports, who offer the latest football odds, "Phil Parkinson has experience of Championship football. He'll understand what's needed. "To get three promotions, I don't care what anybody says, to get three promotions on the bounce is just exceptional. "They are in such a positive place at the moment, the crowd are behind them massively and they'll have to be next year as well because the level moves up again, but nothing is impossible. "The fans will really get behind them and it's going to be an interesting league next year. Very, very interesting. "It'll be interesting to see what Wrexham do and what they can achieve."
