The 20-year-old went on tour with the squad for the post-season tour to Malaysia and Hong Kong.
He came on at half-time of the 1-0 defeat to ASEAN All-Stars.
But he sparked controversy when he was seen
A photo with a pair of fans and involving a number of Man Utd team-mates also saw the winger make the gesture.

However, his time in Kuala Lumpur came to a head as he was involved in an altercation with a fan.
A video shared to social media showed a fan filming Garnacho, who was seen wearing all-black with sunglasses and a golden chain, as he walked along the street.
The fan can be heard asking him: "Garnacho, please."
As Garnacho then tries to move away from the video, the fan adds: "Messi or
Ronaldo
?"

The fan then appears to lean into the wingers path with his camera, before Garnacho is heard saying: "Bro," and moving out of the way.
He is seen angrily looking back at the fan as he gets past him, with the fan heard replying: "Bro he pushed me."

But in a social media statement later on he revealed he had been subjected to abuse about his MUM by some so-called fans.
He said: " "I have respect for people but not for the one who insults my mom…
"I shouldn't have reacted like that but I don't regret what I did.
"We had a great time in Malaysia with good people."
Man Utd's tour ends with a clash against the Hong Kong national team this afternoon.

In a game dictated by the wind, all three goals arrived in the second half. McCormack blasted 2-1, and Conor Martin's clincher completed his 1-4 tally in front of 14,455 fans at Nowlan Park. The Premier's first U20 success since 2019, and 12th in total, moves them level with Kilkenny in second spot on the roll of honour. Nowlan Park has become a happy hunting ground for Tipp teams, adding this U20 crown to the minor titles won here in 2022 and '24. 30 years after he first lifted the trophy, Brendan Cummins completed the double of winning the James Nowlan Cup as both a player and manager. The wind strength was emphasised by Kilkenny's first two pointed frees. Both times, Tipp were penalised for thrown passes. Michael Brennan came back inside his own half and converted each one. Four Brennan points kept Kilkenny's faint hopes alive as far as the 51st minute. Then, O'Donoghue turned over Neary and fed McCormack for a low finish, to lead 2-17 to 0-14. And in the 56th minute, Martin secured a turnover before finishing off the move after taking the final pass from McCarthy.
