-- The benchmark indices continued to experience narrow range activity. The Nifty ended one point higher, while the Sensex dropped by 50 points. Among the sectors, the IT, Defence, and Media indices gained over 1 per cent, whereas the Realty index was the biggest loser, declining by 1 per cent.
-- Technically, the market has shown a narrow range pattern over the past two days. Key support levels for traders are 25,000 and 25,050, while the resistance zone for bulls lies at 25,150 and 25,200. We believe that as long as the market trades between 25,000 and 25,200, range-bound conditions are likely to persist.
-- A successful breakout above 25,200 could push the market up to 25,400 and 25,500. Conversely, if the market falls below 25,000, selling pressure is expected to increase. Should it drop below this level, the market may retest the levels of 24,850 to 24,775.
-- The strategy should be to take a long trade if it falls back to 24,850/24,800. Keep a stop loss at 24700 for the same. On the higher side, expect short covering above 25200, however, in that case we need to keep a stop loss at 25,000 for the same. However, a close below 25,000 would be negative in the short term.
-- For Bank Nifty, it may consolidate before heading towards 58,000. Buying is advisable around 56,200-56,100 with a stop at 55,900.

-- Market is likely to continue in the consolidation range with a slight upward bias. A clear breakout above Nifty 25100 level, and sustaining above this level, will need sustained large buying.
-- This can happen on positive news regarding a US-China trade deal. Reports of both countries reaching an agreement to implement the Geneva consensus are positive. China is playing their 'rare earth minerals card' effectively.
-- How this trade deal between the two global economic giants develops remains to be seen.
-- In the near-term the market will respond to news regarding the trade negotiations. If there is a clear agreement the market will respond positively and there is a high probability of Nifty breaking above 25100 and remaining above this level.
-- Liquidity will support a mild rally. But a strong rally needs earnings support. There are no indications yet about a strong recovery in earnings. This will cap any short-term rally in the market.

Rs 78000 crore net worth, Rs 2.5 lakh crore company, yet people hardly know his name, meet man who built this famous fashion brand, his name is…, company is…
Recently, there was news that Mukesh Ambani's company, Reliance Retail, is working on a big plan. Now, Reliance Retail has partnered with fashion e-commerce company Shein to boost clothing production in India. Their goal is not only to make more clothes here but also to sell Indian-made Shein clothes around the world. Shein is a fast-fashion company that started in China but now has its headquarters in Singapore. The company is known for selling trendy clothes at low prices and uses smart marketing to attract customers. It makes over USD 30 billion every year. Even though the brand is popular, not many people know about its founder. Shein was founded by Chris Xu, who is also known as Sky Xu. He is the co-founder and CEO of the company. Shein is growing very quickly and is especially loved by Gen Z (young people). The brand sells stylish clothes in over 150 countries. Shein first came to India in 2018. But in 2020, the Indian government banned several Chinese apps and companies, including Shein. In February this year, Shein returned to India through a partnership with Reliance Industries. They launched a new website called where they now sell clothes made in India. This is different from Shein's other websites, which mostly sell clothes made in China. How it all started There is not much public information available about Shein's founder, Chris Xu, as he prefers to stay away from the media. He is 41 years old and was born in 1984 in Shandong province, China. Today, he also holds Singapore citizenship, where Shein's main office is based. Chris Xu studied at the Qingdao University of Science and Technology in China, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduation, he worked in marketing and gained expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) while working at Nanjing Aodao Information Technology. During this time, Xu realized there was a huge opportunity to sell Chinese products in global markets. In 2008, he partnered with two others to start a company called Nanjing Dianwei Information Technology, which later evolved into what we now know as Shein. Chris Xu's net worth and Shein's rise A few years after starting out, Chris Xu launched a company called SheInside, which mainly sold wedding dresses at first. In 2015, he renamed the company to Shein. That same year, he moved the company's headquarters from Nanjing to Guangzhou, and later in 2022, shifted it again to Singapore. Chris Xu is not only the CEO of Shein but is also believed to be its largest individual shareholder of the company. Under his leadership, Shein has become one of the biggest fashion retailers in the world. The company is famous for its ultra-fast fashionable clothes, wide variety of products, and low prices. According to Forbes , Chris Xu has a net worth of USD 9.1 billion (around Rs. 78,000 crore), making him one of the richest people from China. In the first half of 2022, Shein raised funds at a valuation of USD 100 billion. However, due to a global dip in stock markets later, the company's valuation declined. Preparing for public listing In 2023, Shein took its first step into the offline retail market by partnering with Sparc Group, the company that runs the fast-fashion chain Forever 21. Through this partnership, Shein began selling its products in Forever 21 stores across the United States. Earlier, Shein was planning to launch its IPO (Initial Public Offering) in the U.S. However, the company has now shifted its focus and is preparing to list on the London Stock Exchange instead.

Sika sees major growth opportunity in India amid infra, tax reforms
By Liana Baker and Reto Gregori Sika AG Chief Executive Officer Thomas Hasler views the Indian market as being one of the biggest opportunities for the Swiss building products company over the next few years. 'They fixed their tax system and they are now working on infrastructure,' Hasler said in an interview this week in New York. 'They're working on, let's say, the foundation for the economic growth.' Prime Minister Narendra Modi was sworn in for his third term last year, ensuring he will serve until at least 2029. He has made infrastructure a priority, from the building of oil tankers to rail projects and domestic gas production. That should benefit companies like Sika, which makes sealants, mortars and other building adhesives. The Baar-based company's shares closed at 209 Swiss francs on Friday, giving Sika a market value of about 33.5 billion francs ($41.3 billion). 'It's rail, it's road, ports, airports everything,' Hasler said, adding that the company needs to further invest in India since there's still four to five years before the next election. About 3 per cent to 4 per cent of Sika's revenue comes from India and that could grow to double digits over the next 10 years, he said. 'In India, market potential today is probably somewhere $3 to $4 billion,' He said. 'We may go up to $6 billion or $7 billion in 10 years.' To be sure, he said success isn't guaranteed in the world's second-most populous country and some of its megacities have 'pains.' 'This is not going to be in 10 years taking over Europe — this is long term. But India has a potential within 10 years to be much more significant,' he said. He added that Sika has a 'good footprint' in the country, which it doubled through its acquisition of MBCC Group. MBCC is Sika's largest acquisition to date, at about 5.5 billion francs. The deal for the former construction chemicals business of BASF SE, which it bought from private equity firm Lone Star Funds, closed in 2023. Sika fended off a takeover approach from rival Cie. de Saint Gobain SA several years ago, one of the most acrimonious takeover fights in Europe.
