According to Pinkvilla, Taiwan's criminal police department arrested four individuals. The arrests were made in connection to the illegal resale of tickets. The G-Dragon concerts were hosted at the
Taipei
Arena from July 11 to 13.
2500 tickets confiscated
The report further stated that cops raided the group base from where they operated on July 15. They had received a tip-off, after which the action was taken. Reportedly, the authorities found illegal items in massive quantities, including over 2500 exchange codes and printed tickets to Blackpink and G-Dragon's concerts.
Not just that, the authorities also seized approximately KRW 7.7 million (164,000 USD) in cash. It didn't stop there, as the officials also found 500 tickets for Blackpink's Kaohsiung concert scheduled for October.

How did the group operate?
The group used AI bots and fake IDs to resell G-Dragon's concert tickets at a price 10 times higher than the original cost. One of the four members arrested, identified as Mr. Liu, worked with a Hong Kong-based engineer who used a bot and ID generator to swamp online platforms and purchase tickets in bulk.
Entry passes, originally priced at 30,000 KRW, were being sold at 460,000 KRW. In the meantime, VIP tickets that were originally priced at 8,980 TWD (420,000 KRW) were sold for as high as 55,000 TWD (2.58 million KRW).
Liu's team even made documents to bypass Taiwan's real-name ticketing policy.

The report further stated that the officials believe that the same group might be connected to the scam that happened in March 2023. At that time, the tickets to Blackpink's tour that were originally priced at 410000 KRW were being sold at up to 18.78 million KRW.

Vijayawada: A 24-year-old woman, identified as Varre Srividya, allegedly died by suicide at her residence in Vuyyuru of Krishna district, following sustained physical and emotional abuse by her husband. A lecturer at a private college and an MSc graduate, Srividya reportedly ended her life late on Sunday, just days ahead of Raksha Bandhan, leaving behind a poignant note that read, "Sorry, I can't tie rakhi this year," addressed to her younger brother. According to the police, Srividya was married to Arun Kumar, a village surveyor from Kalavapamula in Vuyyuru mandal, on April 23. However, by the time he arrived, she was found hanging at her residence. Nagaraju alleged that Arun Kumar had been harassing Srividya over financial matters, including pressuring the family to sell their house in Vuyyur and hand over the proceeds. He claimed that Rs 10 lakh in cash and gold worth another Rs 10 lakh had already been given at the time of the marriage. Following the complaint, Vuyyur town police registered a case against Arun Kumar and his parents under relevant sections related to dowry harassment and abetment to suicide. Arun Kumar is currently absconding. CB-CID would complete caste killing probe in 2 months: State to HC
Madurai: The state on Tuesday informed the Madras high court that the CB-CID would complete the investigation and file the final report within two months in the caste killing case of C Kavin Selva Ganesh, in Tirunelveli. The court was hearing a public interest litigation filed by S M A Pon Gandhimathinathan. The petitioner sought a direction for a district judge to monitor the CB-CID probe into the caste killing incident and to provide compensation to the family members of the deceased man. The petitioner also sought a direction to the state to enact special legislation to prevent caste killing incidents. During the course of the hearing, the state informed that following the incident, swift actions were taken by the Palayamkottai police, who registered a case and arrested the accused, Surjith, on the same day of the incident on July 27. Police also arrested Surjith's father, Saravanan, who was working as a sub-inspector of police, on July 30. As per SC/ST Act and Rules, interim compensation was paid to the family members of the deceased. Subsequently, the case was also transferred to the CB-CID, who registered a case and commenced their investigation.
