Carole Samaha lamented her late husband, the Egyptian businessman Walid Mustafa, who died early this morning following a protracted battle with sickness. "Today I lost my husband and beloved Dr. Walid Mustafa," she said.
"Today we belong to God, and to Him we shall return," Carole Samaha posted on her official Instagram account, along with a picture of herself and him. After a protracted battle with illness, my husband and beloved Dr. Walid Mustafa passed away today. "I have never in my life seen anyone who believed in struggle like you, my beloved Walid," she continued. Even though your body is no longer with me, your spirit will continue to serve as an inspiration. I will always remember your will.
In closing, Carole said, "And your memory will remain a fire in my heart... until we meet again where there is no more pain, no more tears, and no more separation."
Social media was used today by several of Carole's famous friends to express their sorrow. On Instagram, Ward El Khal posted, "What words can comfort you, Carole? Words cannot express how deeply you are grieving. May God ease your heart, Tala's heart, and the hearts of her whole family, our lovely artist. May God spare his soul and give him peace for all eternity.
"Our hearts are with you, #Carole_Samaha, in these difficult circumstances," Amal Bouchoucha wrote in her condolence letter to Carole. We pray to God to grant your spouse, Mr. Walid Mustafa, mercy and to encourage you with endurance and fortitude, @CAROLE_SAMAHA."
Elissa also posted on Instagram to express her sorrow over her husband's death, writing, "No words can erase the agony... May God have pity on him , grant you patience and keep your daughter for you. We know you to be strong and faithful. God willing, her soul will be in heaven @CAROLE_SAMAHA."

Ammon News - With a notable youth presence and strong patriotic enthusiasm, the Bible Society celebrated Jordan's Independence Day on Sunday evening in front of its bookshop on Rainbow Street, Jabal Amman. The event will be followed by other celebrations in different areas, including Ghor Al-Safi, where wheelchairs will be distributed to a group of people with disabilities in the region.
