Destiny in your hands
For every individual, whoever he is, his life is important. When his life is important, his wellbeing is also important. People invest a lot of time on their wellbeing. You may find someone has invested a good 25years to become an engineer, to earn a living. He has invested half his life to build his family. But how much time has he invested for his inner wellbeing?
Today, everyone is busy managing and fixing the outside situation. But no matter how much you fix outside situations, you can never fix them one hundred percent. No one can. Affluent societies in the world are a living example of this. They fixed the outside sufficiently, but look at the people's condition. For example in United States, the outside is sufficiently fixed but a significant percentage of the population is on anti-depressants. They have to take medication just to remain sane on a daily basis! That is not wellbeing.
Those of you, who are successful enough – at least in your material life – understand that unless you do the right thing, it will not work. Or do you still believe you can do idiotic things and tell a prayer and everything will be okay? No. You know if you have to be successful in the outside world you have to do the right things. Otherwise it will not work. What makes you think it is not true with the internal?
Unless you do the right thing it will not work there also. As there is a science and technology to create external wellbeing, there is a whole science and technology – the yogic science – to create inner wellbeing through which you can become the master of your own destiny.
Nothing is predetermined
Nothing is predetermined, not even death. Everything has been created by you. The problem is you create most of it unconsciously, so you think it is being heaped upon you from somewhere else. If you can create something unconsciously, you can also create it consciously. That is the whole effort of all spiritual processes – to see that you create your life consciously instead of blundering through it by creating it unconsciously.
Once you make that effort, you will see more and more of your life becomes self-determined, not pre-determined. If you have mastery over your physical body, 15 to 20% of your life and destiny will be in your hands. If you have mastery over your mind, 50 to 60% of your life and destiny will be in your hands. If you have mastery over your very life energy, 100% of your life and destiny will be in your hands to such an extent that you can choose the moment of death, as to when and how you should die – and I am not referring to suicide. You can choose the womb in which you will be born, how you will be born – every moment of your life can become self-determined.

'A recent claim by a senior officer of the Indian Army, of the rank of Major General, stated that Pakistan Air Force had targeted the Golden Temple. This claim is not only alarming but has raised deep concern among the Sikh community worldwide. Given the sensitive geographical and political nature of the region, such threats-- whether real or perceived--pose a risk to national security and global religious harmony,' the letter further read. 'Any threat to it--real or claimed--has the potential to disturb world peace and affect inter-community trust and harmony. Such perceptions must not be allowed to take root,' Aujla added. (ANI)

SC agrees to hear Jaipur Royals' plea on historic covenants
New Delhi, June 3 (UNI) The Supreme Court has issued notice on a petition filed by Rajmata Padmini Devi, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, and Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of the erstwhile Jaipur royal family, challenging the constitutional bar under Article 363 over adjudication of disputes stemming from pre-Independence covenants between princely states and the Government of India. A bench comprising Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra and Justice A.G. Masih on Monday signaled readiness to delve into the nuanced constitutional debate surrounding the continuing applicability of Article 363 especially after the repeal of its companion provision, Article 362, in 1972. Appearing for the petitioners, Senior Advocate Harish Salve, assisted by Senior Counsel Vibha Datta Makhija, contended that the 1949 covenant in question was not signed with the Government of India (GoI), but among five Rajasthan rulers, with the Centre acting merely as a guarantor. Hence, Article 363, which bars courts from entertaining disputes arising from covenants, should not apply. Salve invoked Articles 363 and 366, arguing that the ownership of the disputed properties existed prior to the covenant, and that the Constitution must now permit courts to re-examine the legal rights surrounding such properties. Justice Mishra, however, asked pointedly, 'Without the Government of India being a party, how did you merge with the Union of India?' He further questioned the broader implications: 'If your argument is accepted, then the entire state of Rajasthan would be governed by the King. "Will all princely states be free to claim their properties?' the Court asked. Salve responded that allowing adjudication was not tantamount to conceding ownership: 'Filing a suit is different from asserting rights. I'm only arguing on the right to be heard in court.' The petition challenges the April 17 judgment of the Rajasthan High Court, which had dismissed four civil suits filed by the Jaipur royals and their trust over iconic Jaipur properties including Town Hall (Old Vidhan Sabha), Hazari Guards Building (Old Police HQ), and parts of the City Palace. The High Court had ruled that these suits were barred by Article 363, which prohibits court jurisdiction over disputes related to pre-Constitution covenants. The court accepted the State's revision pleas and rejected the royals' claims under the Civil Procedure Code.
