Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday have reunited for the upcoming romantic comedy, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. The film is being directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. As pictures from the film's shoot have started going viral online, Karan Johar has dropped the official casting announcement on Instagram.
Karan Johar's post read, 'Signed, sealed & delivering hamaare Ray ki Rumi!😍 @kartikaaryan @ananyapanday #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri – in cinemas next Valentine's: 13th Feb, 2026." Kartik and Ananya seem to share a passionate kiss in the photo shared by Karan. However, their lips were covered with a passport, hinting at the film's premise.
The film is currently being shot in Europe, and a recent video from the shoot featured Kartik walking into a roadside café while Ananya was sitting with her friend. Recently, Kartik shared a series of pictures on Instagram, donning a fresh new look as 'Ray'. There is much excitement about the film's release as Kartik and Ananya were rumoured to be dating for some time.
The duo first collaborated in the 2019 film Pati Patni Aur Woh, where their on-screen pairing garnered significant attention. Their camaraderie was evident during promotional events and interviews, leading fans and media to speculate about a possible off-screen romance. In 2022, during an appearance on Koffee with Karan, host Karan Johar hinted at their rumoured relationship. Ananya's mother, Bhavana Panday, was also asked about her daughter's on-screen pairings, to which she responded that Ananya and Kartik looked the best together.
Both Ananya and Kartik have addressed these rumours in various past interviews. Ananya expressed that she finds the speculation 'cute" and 'fun," but clarified that they are just good friends. Kartik was more direct, stating that he was '100% single" and that all his dates were with his producers for the next two years.
