Brewing the Dream
Brewing ideas 'I call this a café for bootstrappers,' says Abhishek. A bootstrapper, he explains, is someone who builds their own business without any investors. He further adds that everybody is heartily welcomed at the place. One might find a writer scribbling away while settled in his usual, spot by the window; a cartoonist too focused on his sketches, slurping his cup of coffee aloud; or just the locals dropping in for a morning toast. 'I've been writing a newsletter for several years now, and we invite people who do their own thing, to meet, collaborate, and find support here,' says Rai. The idea of bootstrapping, much like the café itself, is inspired by Indian tradition of adda and jugaad. It is a place of random walk-ins and shared experiences. People who come in hang out for long while sitting with a single cup. During his post-graduation in Delhi in the early 2000s, during the global 'Third Wave' coffee movement (pertaining to premium coffee-brewing methods, and artisanal roasting) Rai was already involved in different community projects. The name 'Shack' itself carries history. Originally meant for a small café in Bengaluru that Rai wanted to open with a friend, it now carries emotional meaning. He further explains that in German, the word Shack translates to 'cottage' or 'hut'. 'My place is just like that (a cottage). Small and cozy where people can be informal and be themselves.'

If you're looking for the best MBA in digital marketing course or colleges then one post graduate program in digital marketing has emerged as a true game-changer - Digital Scholar's 1-Year MBA in Digital Marketing. What sets it apart isn't just its global accreditation, real-time learning, or AI-powered modules. It's the mentors. The people behind the program. At Digital Scholar, mentorship isn't just a feature - it's the foundation. This program is designed and delivered by a stellar team of experts from India's top institutions and most successful digital marketing agencies. From IIT and IIM alumni to Meta-certified professionals and media buyers managing 8-figure budgets, the mentor lineup is unlike anything offered by conventional MBA colleges in India. If you're searching for the best MBA in digital marketing, this one-year experience offers more than a certificate — it gives students access to industry leaders who are shaping the future of performance marketing, AI, automation, and branding in real time. Not Just Teachers — Actual Practitioners Traditional MBAs often rely on academic professionals who teach theory. But today's employers don't just want theoretical knowledge. They want job-ready marketers who've run campaigns, worked with ad dashboards, used AI tools, and understand ROAS, CPL, CAC, and LTV metrics. That's exactly why Digital Scholar's MBA in Digital Marketing was designed with an agency-style format, under the leadership of Sorav Jain and Rishi Jain. Sorav is a globally respected digital marketing consultant, while Rishi — known as India's leading AI corporate trainer — has coached teams at companies like LinkedIn, eBay, and Nykaa. Every faculty member brings real-world execution experience to the classroom. Their backgrounds span across Schbang, Casagrand, First Economy, and multiple D2C startups. This isn't just learning from a textbook — it's learning from people who've been in the trenches. Why Mentorship Makes the Difference According to Rishi Jain, 'You can't prepare students for today's marketing jobs with outdated methods. That's why we brought together the best minds — people who've worked on global campaigns and understand modern tools like prompt engineering, automation, and data analytics.' Each week, students get mentored on live campaigns. They're trained on client pitches, branding decks, funnel strategy, and copywriting — while also working on real ad accounts. The learning experience includes 1-on-1 feedback sessions, performance reviews, and workshops that simulate agency life. Students are also guided to build their personal websites and marketing portfolios, preparing them not just for placements but also for freelance and agency roles. Built for the Real World While Digital Scholar began its edtech journey with a 4-month digital marketing course in Chennai, there was a growing demand for a more advanced, in-depth learning path. Very few institutes offer a true masters in digital marketing that combines strategy, execution, AI skills, and business thinking — and that's exactly the gap Digital Scholar set out to fill.. Digital Scholar's program is a Woolf University-accredited MBA, making it internationally recognized and PhD-eligible in over 50 countries. The learning clusters include: ● Business Strategy & Entrepreneurship ● AI & Automation for Marketers ● SEO, Funnels, and Performance Marketing ● Analytics, Attribution, and Email Flows ● Capstone Projects + Live Internship Students work inside a functioning agency environment from Day 1 — a format that's made this the best MBA in digital marketing college for serious learners across India. Both offer full-time, offline training with weekend campus access and mentor-led classes. Prefer to study remotely? Considering the above vision of NEP 2020, the ministry is in the process of drafting a HECI bill ," he added. Live Events The HECI, which was proposed in the new NEP, looks to replace the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). While the UGC oversees non-technical higher education, the AICTE oversees technical education and the NCTE is the regulatory body for teachers' education. The concept of the HECI has been discussed before in the form of a draft bill. A draft Higher Education Commission of India (Repeal of University Grants Commission Act) Bill, 2018, which seeks to repeal the UGC Act and provides for setting up of the Higher Education Commission of India, was put in the public domain that year for feedback and consultation with stakeholders. Renewed efforts to make the HECI a reality were then initiated under Dharmendra Pradhan, who took over as Union education minister in July 2021. Underlining the relevance of a single higher education regulator, the NEP 2020 document says, "the regulatory system is in need of a complete overhaul in order to re-energise the higher education sector and enable it to thrive".
