AOC's Bronx office terrorized by fake blood and horrid accusations by her own supporters in twist

Daily Mail22-07-2025
Outspoken New York progressive Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seems to have gotten a taste of her own medicine.
A disturbing video made its rounds on X Monday morning of the congresswoman's Bronx campaign headquarters being vandalized in red paint with a note attached to the front gate reading 'AOC Funds Genocide in Gaza.'
The glass directly covering photograph of the congresswoman's face was entirely obscured by red paint as well.
The viral video footage of the incident also shows the NYPD's evidence collection team arriving to remove the sign and investigate the scene.
The unhinged action came days after AOC voted against an amendment proposed by MAGA Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene to cut funding to Israel 's 'golden dome' air defense systems by $500 million.
The amendment to the annual military spending package - known as the National Defense Appropriations Act, or NDAA - was backed by only six members of the House of Representatives.
Only GOP firebrand Thomas Massie and AOC's leftist 'Squad' sisters of Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib supported MTG's flamboyant amendment.
A group called the Boogie Down Liberation Front took responsibility for the attack on AOC's office.
In a statement, the group noted that 'the Bronx is sick and tired of people like AOC and Ritchie Torres using us as a stepping stone for their own political careers.'
'The Bronx stands with the people of Palestine and we denounce the hypocrisy of AOC who voted to fund Israel's ongoing genocide and starvation campaign in Gaza. F**K AOC!,' the group added.
Ocasio-Cortez issued a statement Saturday which explained her vote against the amendment, noting that it 'does nothing to cut off offensive aid to Israel nor end the flow of US munitions being used in Gaza.'
'I have long stated that I do not believe that adding to the death count of innocent victims to this war is constructive to its end,' Ocasio-Cortez added.
'I remain focused on cutting the flow of US munitions that are being used to perpetuate the genocide,' the New York Democrat concluded.
Marjorie Taylor Greene's amendment does nothing to cut off offensive aid to Israel nor end the flow of US munitions being used in Gaza. Of course I voted against it.
What it does do is cut off defensive Iron Dome capacities while allowing the actual bombs killing Palestinians to…

The irony of AOC, a vocal progressive who has also advocated for defunding the police, being treated like this by activists of her own political realm was not lost on social media users.
X user @nikhil0582 wrote, 'Yesss..finally . I have been waiting when the crazy lefties come after her.'
Another user who posts under the handle of @NaMesoAtta noted 'These freaks are absolutely allergic to anything resembling actual power. They'd much rather get likes on Instagram doing dumb stuff like this than ask why their own movement has zero political power whatsoever and why that might be.'
X user @OriginalBad described the attackers as 'nutjobs who want to do nothing but lose elections.'
In 2020, AOC's congressional office reposted a Marie Claire magazine article about the representative's views on defunding the police.
That article noted that 'Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is among the proponents of the call to defund the police' and in her view a community that spends less money on policing looks 'like a suburb.'
'Affluent white communities already live in a world where the choose to fund youth, health, housing etc more than they fund police,' Ocasio-Cortex noted at the time.

Emma Thompson reveals Donald Trump asked her out on a date on the day she got divorced

has revealed that Donald Trump asked her out on a date on the same day she got divorced. The actress, 66, said the President of the US, 79, asked her out for dinner as soon as her marriage to fellow British actor Kenneth Branagh was officially over. Speaking at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland on Saturday, Dame Emma described how she was in her trailer while filming Primary Colours, a 1998 film inspired by Bill Clinton 's rise to the White House, when her phone rang. The award-winning actress said Trump was on the line and initially she thought it was a joke, the Telegraph reported. She said: 'It was Donald Trump. He said: "Hello, this is Donald Trump." I thought it was a joke and asked: "How can I help you?" Maybe he needed directions from someone. 'Then he said: "I'd love you to come and stay at one of my beautiful places. Maybe we could have dinner." 'I said: "Well, that's very sweet. Thank you so much. I'll get back to you".' The surprising phone call came after the president has separated from his second wife, Marla Maples, with whom he shares Tiffany Trump. At the time, the 47th US President had yet to set his sights on politics and was instead focusing on expanding his New York real estate empire. In contrast, the Harry Potter actress had announced her split from Branagh in 1995 and had begun a relationship with her co-star Greg Wise, whom she later married, after meeting on the set of Sense and Sensibility. The revelation came during a Q&A about her career at the star-studded film festival, where Dame Emma joked that had she gone on a date with the Republican politician, she may have changed the course of American history. She also suggested that she was chosen by his team as a suitable person to be seen in public dating. She added: 'I bet he's got people looking for suitable people he could take out on his arm. You know, a nice divorcee, that's what he was looking for.' The star, who is a staunch member of the Labour party and even supported Jeremy Corbyn's leadership and bid for Prime Minister in 2019, added: 'I could have changed the course of American history.' The festival gave Dame Emma Leopard Club Award for career achievements. Dame Emma has always been an outspoken political activist and last year led thousands of people on a march in London aimed at persuading politicians to prioritise nature and climate. More than 350 charities, businesses and direct action groups were taking part in the Restore Nature Now march, along with Dame Emma, businessman Dale Vince and naturalists Chris Packham and Steve Backshall.
