Maura Higgins fulfills her life-long 'dream' as she moves out of humble home into plush £1.25M Essex mansion after breaking America with huge TV roles
The Irish star, 34, always dreamed of making big time - and thanks to Love Island - she has amassed an estimated £3.2million after breaking America with huge TV roles.
Maura has taken the showbiz world by storm, presenting Love Island USA, starring in I'm A Celebrity and her latest upcoming gig in The Traitors US.
She always knew she wasn't destined to stay in rural Ireland, marry her teenage boyfriend and open up a hair salon.
'But that's not what I wanted. That was not my dream. That was my father's and boyfriend's dream. I wanted to do more,' Maura defiantly declared.
The girl from remote County Longford splashed her hard-earned cash on a five-bedroom semi-detached house, MailOnline revealed earlier this year.
Maura has been sharing glimpses of her new abode after finally moving in last month.
She posted a picture of stunning black French doors looking on to a garden, with a huge bouquet of glowers in a vase, Ferrari sparkling wine and a Diptyque candle.
'After the busiest few months.... she's finally in,' the former Love Island star captioned the snap.
Sharing another snap of the kitchen featuring her pal, celebrity hairdresser Carl Bembridge, she wrote: 'No chairs yet but he always finds something to sit on.'
Her riches have allowed the presenter to upgrade from her previous one-bedroom property in Essex to one with an en-suite master bedroom with four further rooms.
Overjoyed, Maura shared to her Instagram followers a picture of her new kitchen with a chandelier and grey floors, which she bought in October, with the caption 'Bought my dream house'.
An expansive kitchen, with an island, leads out past the dining area, out bi-folding doors to a large walled garden with a neat lawn.
Maura's previous home was raided by three-masked men and so the Love Island star has ensured her new home was in a gated development which provides privacy and security.
Maura was seen driving to her new plush home in her Porsche Macan, which typically ranges in price from £60,000 to £98,000

After first sharing the news of her new home in October, Maura had barely gotten the keys to her new house when she entered the jungle in November for a four-week stint in Australia.
Maura entered the Love Island villa in 2019 and after almost six years in the spotlight with lucrative brand deals, she has amassed a fortune of an estimated £3.2million.
Maura recently shared how she escaped working in a hair salon in Ireland to become a ring girl for the brand Monster against the wishes of her then-boyfriend and dad.
The influencer said: 'I wanted to do more and travel the world. I'm young, why not?'
Her time with Monster caught the eye of ITV recruiters for Love Island, who approached Maura multiple times before she finally accepted as revenge against her boyfriend, which has now landed her a multi-million-pound fortune.
Her big home purchase came after she treated herself to a new £60,000 Porsche just before heading into the I'm A Celebrity jungle in November.
Maura became the proud owner of a Porsche Macan, which typically ranges in price from £60,000 to £98,00.
Sharing a photo from inside her new car, she showed off its luxurious all-white leather interior.
Maura captioned the post: 'My baby has arrived finally,' along with a white heart emoji.

The former Love Island star and husband Alex Bowen are already parents to son Abel Jacob and are due to welcome their first daughter into their growing family later this summer. Olivia was originally expecting twins but earlier this year, the pregnant star shared how suffered Vanishing Twin Syndrome (VTS), a condition in which one embryo is lost early on, leaving just one developing fetus. Sharing an update with fans on Instagram, Olivia revealed that the nursery for their new baby is almost ready but her due date nearing has stirred up some emotions. "It brings back so many memories of when our village helped feed Abe… those quiet, lovely moments where family could bond with him, and I could have a much-needed breather too," she told fans. "It was never just about the feeds – it was about feeling supported, surrounded, and lifted up." "This time around, I know our people will be just as amazing. Olivia, 31, announced she was pregnant with a video of her and her husband, along with their first child Abel – who was born in 2022, posted to Instagram in February. The pair met on the 2016 series of the ITV reality show, finishing second behind winners Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey, who got married in 2019 and are parents to son Freddie-George and daughter Delilah. Olivia and Alex got married in September 2018 and are one of the rare pairings from the show that have remained together. Olivia has previously spoken about how she felt she would be "so rubbish as a mum" before the birth of Abel. In a post on Instagram shortly after his birth for World Breast Feeding Week, she said: "I never thought I would breast feed. I think where I felt like I was not a maternal person whatsoever before Abel was born, I had serious doubts it would work for me and I also didn't even feel comfortable with the thought of it. "I would go as far as to say it freaked me out a bit. You all know I wasn't sure on having kids and it's mainly because I felt like I would be so rubbish as a Mum, not a maternal bone in my body pre Abel. Fast forward to when Abel was born and he first latched in the hospital it couldn't of felt more natural. The bond and connection I feel with him when feeding I will be forever grateful for."
