She explained that she worked as a "cosmetologist for the living" before qualifying as an embalmer.
According to the viral funeral director, "beauty school wasn't a total waste".
While she still does hair for living clients as a "side hustle", the TikToker mainly focuses on the deceased.
"Doing the hair on the deceased is so much more different than doing it on the living and it's not just because of the changes that they will undergo or the challenges that are presented," she said.
She revealed that there is a specific art required in this technique of making someone look like they did when they were alive.
The TikToker revealed that she is often given a picture to go off, doing her best to recreate the person's appearance after death.
She added that she finds her work as a mortiuary cosmotologist to be rewarding as the families of the deceased find comfort in how she makes them look like their old selves.

She revealed that your body is even "massaged" during the emaballment process.
The TikToker compared the work of an embalmer to that of a "personal stylist".
TikTok viewers shared their thoughts on the revelations in the comments section.
"I hope when I pass someone knows how to do my makeup how I have it," one follower said.
"This is my dream job but I can't afford the schooling," wrote another inspired commenter.
"The one day my husband and kids will leave me alone long enough to have a spa day," joked a third person.

Asda is selling the ‘perfect event dress' that shoppers say is ‘gorgeous' and it's scanning for just £3 at the till
Find out how to save money at Asda SHOW STOPPER Asda is selling the 'perfect event dress' that shoppers say is 'gorgeous' and it's scanning for just £3 at the till A SAVVY shopper has left fashion fans stunned after bagging a 'gorgeous' event-ready dress at Asda for just £3. The bargain-hunter, @finchofautismlife took to TikTok to show off the stunning satin dress from George at Asda. 3 A woman showed off her £3 bargain buy on TikTok Credit: TikTok/ @finchofautismlife 3 She purchased Asda's Satin Beaded Flutter Sleeve Maxi Dress. Credit: Asda She dared viewers to guess how much she paid. Most assumed it was a higher-end buy, with its classy silhouette and flattering fit. But in a follow-up video, she revealed she'd actually paid just three quid after spotting it on a secret in-store clearance rail. She said: 'I've got an event in November and this dress is absolutely perfect and it only cost me £3. I couldn't believe it.' The shopper wasted no time snapping it up, calling it a 'must-have' for autumn and winter occasions. And fans are totally obsessed. 'You look stunning,' one viewer gushed. Another said: 'Wow, I love it, that dress is gorgeous!' A third fan couldn't believe it, they said: 'Asda? You're joking.' Although the dress was scanning for £3 in store, it is discounted to £15 online. It seems this is just the latest win for George at Asda, the supermarket's in-house fashion label that's quickly become a go-to for fashionistas on a budget. Kat Farmers new George at Asda Collection The label regularly delivers viral wardrobe hits that look way more expensive than they are. Last week, shoppers were sent into a frenzy over a sweet broderie anglaise white mini dress, reduced from £22 to just £15, with rave reviews calling it 'classy', 'lightweight' and the 'perfect fit'. Others have gone wild for a £20 floral dress hailed as 'perfect in every way' , ideal for summer weddings or garden parties, while a £12 leopard print denim shirt dress became a best-seller thanks to its comfy oversized fit and transitional style. But the £3 event dress might just take the crown for the best fashion bargain yet. So if you're in the market for an affordable outfit that'll turn heads without emptying your wallet, it might be worth swinging by your local Asda and checking the rails. The buzz comes after Asda launched its first-ever stand-alone George store in Leeds earlier this year, which could be rolled out nationwide if it proves a hit. The new store, which opened on Saturday, May 10, in the old Asda Living unit at Crown Point Retail Park, is a dream come true for George fans. It's packed with affordable fashion, stylish homeware, must-have toys, and adorable baby gear, plus a brand new café to keep you fuelled mid-shop. There are currently 30 Asda Living stores in the UK, but the supermarket giant is testing the waters with this new George-only concept. Bosses are expected to make a decision later this year on whether more will launch across the country. The George brand, first launched in 1989 by fashion guru George Davies, changed the game as the UK's first supermarket clothing label. By 2004, it had become the nation's biggest clothing retailer, and today it's still going strong, racking up 260 million visits a year to its site and stocking shelves in 560 stores. How to save at Asda Shop the budget range Savvy shopper Eilish Stout-Cairns recommends that shoppers grab items from Asda's Just Essentials range. She said: "Asda's budget range is easy to spot as it's bright yellow! Keep your eyes peeled for yellow and you'll find their Just Essentials range. "It's great value and I've found it has a much wider selection of budget items compared to other supermarkets. Sign up to Asda Rewards The savvy-saver also presses on the importance of signing up to Asda's reward scheme. She said: "Asda Rewards is free to join and if you shop at Asda you should absolutely sign up. "As an Asda Rewards member, you'll get exclusive discounts and offers, and you'll also be able to earn 10% cashback on Star Products. "This will go straight into your cashpot, and once you've earned at least £1, you can transfer the money in your cashpot into ASDA vouchers. We've previously rounded up the best supermarket loyalty schemes - including the ones that will save you the most money. Look out for booze deals Eilish always suggests that shoppers looking to buy booze look out for bargain deals. She said: "Asda often has an alcohol offer on: buy six bottles and save 25%. "The offer includes selected bottles with red, white and rose options, as well as prosecco. There are usually lots of popular bottles included, for example, Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot, Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot and Freixenet Prosecco D.O.C. "Obviously, the more expensive the bottles you choose, the more you save." Join Facebook groups The savvy saver also recommends that fans of Asda join Facebook groups to keep in the know about the latest bargains in-store. Eilish said: "I recommend joining the Latest Deals Facebook Group to find out about the latest deals and new launches in store. "Every day, more than 250,000 deal hunters share their latest bargain finds and new releases. "For example, recently a member shared a picture of Asda's new Barbie range spotted in store. "Another member shared the bargain outdoor plants she picked up, including roses for 47p, blackcurrant bushes for 14p and topiary trees for 14p."

How to get the viral Shark Cryglow LED mask for FREE at Boots with a sneaky, little-known trick that helps you declutter

Scroll down to find out if the viral LED Shark mask it worth it GLOW GIRL How to get the viral Shark Cryglow LED mask for FREE at Boots with a sneaky, little-known trick that helps you declutter A WOMAN has revealed how she bagged the viral Shark CryoGlow LED face mask for free at Boots thanks to a sneaky little-known hack that also helps clear out your clutter. TikTok user Steph from Leeds, shared how she'd been saving up her Boots Advantage Card points for months in hopes of finally snapping up the buzzy Shark LED mask. 2 Steph shared how she bagged a Shark CryGlow for free Credit: TikTok/ @stephaniedjl 2 She purchased the beauty gadget using her Boots points and a little-known scheme Credit: Amazon The beauty gadget has been doing the rounds online for its glow-boosting, skin-smoothing powers. And when it finally went on offer, she was just £5 away from having enough points to grab it. But instead of waiting around, she sprinted straight to her local Boots and used a clever trick that got her the last fiver she needed, without spending a penny more. It was all thanks to Boots' Recycle at Boots scheme, which is a little-known initiative that rewards you for bringing in your empty beauty and personal care products. We're talking toothpaste tubes, shampoo bottles, face cream pots, even things like contact lens cases and solution. Once you've collected five used-up products, you simply log them in the Recycle at Boots app, take them to a participating store, pop them in the green recycling box, and you get a £5 voucher when you spend £10. Steph said 'I was only £5 off buying the Shark LED mask with my points, so I ran to Boots, did the recycling scheme and bought it immediately," This time around, she used the £5 voucher to stock up on essentials and then cashed in her Advantage Card points to cover the rest of the cost of the Shark mask. 'I got this mask entirely for free,' she said. 'Definitely worth it.' She added that she often uses the recycling reward to try out new beauty products, but it's also perfect for picking up basics without dipping into your own cash. British skincare brand sold in Boots launches 50% off sale as it prepares to close down this month The best part is you're clearing out those dusty old bottles under the sink and getting rewarded for it. It's a win-win. So next time you're close to bagging something boujee with your Boots points, whether it's a viral skincare gadget, a designer perfume or just your favourite foundation, remember the recycle trick. Boot's loyalty scheme has been running since 1997, and there are now over 17 million Advantage card members. It works by rewarding shoppers with three points for every £1 they spend. Each point is worth 1p, so if you've saved 1234 points, you'll have £12.34 to spend. To pay for your shopping using your points balance, you'll need the full amount as you can't split payments between points and cash. Many shoppers build up their balance over the year to buy Christmas presents, or get bargains in the mega Boots sale at the end of the year. Shark CryGlow Review SOPHIA Bates put the mask up to test in her review. First impressions The face mask comes with a remote control, clip-on eye cooling patches, a charging cable and a satin drawstring pouch for storage. After charging the device for several hours as per the instructions, the mask was ready to go without needing to set anything up. When I first switched the device on, I was given a walk-through on the remote's screen that outlined the basic information, which is great for first-time LED mask users. The mask is bulky and it did take me a while to figure out how to adjust the straps so that it fit comfortably on my face, so it's not something I'll be travelling with. I found the LCD remote control to be slick and easy to use, and I love that it tracks progress by tracking how many times I've used each routine. The mask also shuts down automatically once the routine is complete, which is handy for power saving. Performance I've been using the Shark face mask for around two months, using primarily the Better-Ageing routine followed by the Under-Eye Revival mode. The Insta-Chill technology, which is unique to the CryoGlow, always makes me feel refreshed after removing the mask, and it's great for unwinding. There are three cold temperature settings which can be adjusted on the remote. The mask has an adjustable strap that tightens around the head for a secure fit, although I did find it to be quite heavy on the face. I know some people like to wear LED masks while running errands around the house, but I personally found the hard shell design to be too bulky for that (though it's perfectly comfortable to wear while sitting in front of the TV). The verdict Would I recommend the Shark CryoGlow Mask to a friend? Absolutely. It's the most user-friendly mask I've come across, and I love that the remote control walks users through every routine while tracking all progress. The four modes mean every skin type is likely to benefit from the mask, and I've seen results in my skin's brightness after the eight-week period that I've been testing the device. While the mask is quite bulky, the secure strap makes it comfortable enough to relax with, and the cooling technology leaves my skin feeling so awake after every use. Read the full review here. Double your points If you need that extra boost to your points then we have you covered. Experts have exclusively revealed the tricks to supersizing your points balance. The Boots Advantage Card app is a "game changer", according to Holly Smith, aka the UK's Coupon Queen. These are where your Advantage points, and tailored offers, will be listed. Sometimes, you can earn double, triple, or even QUADRUPLE your points by using these offers. Tap 'View Offers' under your points balance in the app to see your personalised deals. "Right now, my offers are 500 Advantage Card points if I spend £35 or more in-store, 100 points if I buy any Boots own brand products, and 10% off if I spend £15 or more on children's products – plus loads more," said Holly. The extra points will usually come with stipulations such as when you spend a certain amount, buy selected products or could simply offered as a one or two-time offer. To get the boosted points, you will need to 'load to your card', which means adding the offers onto your card before making a purchase, to get the boost. The offers typically change every four weeks, though there are also one day events that crop up so it's worth checking in regularly to see what's available in store or on your app. And if it's your birthday month you could push your points balance even further. When you treat yourself on your birthday, you get free bonus points in the process. During your birthday month, you can double your points, which is six points for every £1 spent. Make sure you put in your date of birth when signing up so you can access the offer. Remember to add the offer to your card before spending. There's plenty of other tricks you could also use to stack up your point balance.
