Meet actor who was offered Rs 22 crore for 10 minute role, his film was blockbuster, earned Rs…, not Ranbir Kapoor, Prabhas, Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, he is…
South Indian actors have always made sure to give the audience that extra punch of entertainment. Whether it is action, comedy, emotion, or everything in between, South Indian films and their actors always find a way to make fans go gaga over them. Today, we will talk about an actor who was recently awarded the Padma Bhushan – the third-highest civilian award in India. Not just that, this 64-year-old has always made sure that his fans love every bit of what he creates.
While reading the information, many may think that the actor in discussion is Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan. But, let us tell you, we are talking about none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK).
NBK made his debut as a child artist at the age of 14 with the film Tatamma Kala (1974). In his career tenure, the actor has worked in more than 100 films. Some of the hit movies he did were Sahasame Jeevitham (1984), Janani Janmabhoomi (1984), Mangammagari Manavadu (1984), and Apoorva Sahodarulu (1986).
Recently, Nandamuri gained headlines when a report surfaced online claiming that the actor was allegedly offered a whopping Rs 22 crore for his 10-minute role in Rajinikanth's Jailer 2.
Nandamuri was last seen in Daaku Maharaaj, which turned out to be a huge blockbuster. The movie minted over Rs 136 crore worldwide and is the third highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025.
While Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK) has been a hit name in the South industry, he recently gained massive criticism. Last year, Nandamuri's video where he was seen brutally pushing away an actress on stage went viral, making fans criticize him to the core. Even after the incident, NBK never issued a statement nor apologized publicly.
