Iran has fired 370 ballistic missiles at Israel since hostilities began, Israel says
TEL AVIV — Iran has fired 370 ballistic missiles and hundreds of drones at Israel over four days of conflict, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office said.
By Monday morning, 24 people had been killed in Israel and 592 others wounded, with 10 of those in serious condition, since hostilities began Friday, the statement said.
The projectiles successfully struck 30 sites in Israel.
In Iran, at least 224 people have been killed since Friday, the country's health ministry said Sunday, as cited by Iranian state media.
Iran's continued missile strikes on Israel are showing Tehran forces can regroup even after Israel killed multiple military commanders in its initial attack, an analyst told CNN.
'They (the Israelis) underestimated the Iranian ability to regroup after the Israelis very successfully targeted the top leadership of the Iranian military and managed to kill several of them,' said Trita Parsi, vice president of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft.
Parsi said Israel believed they had 'disrupted Iranian command and control' but that idea was 'quickly restructured.'
What we are seeing now is that 'Iranian missiles are successful in penetrating all layers of Israel's air defense systems,' Parsi said.
Parsi was speaking to CNN as new waves of Iranian missiles rained down in the early hours of Monday morning and struck multiple locations.
Casualties are mounting on both sides as Iran and Israel widen attacks. Tehran residents are attempting to flee the capital in search of safety, while explosions and fire were seen in Israel overnight with residential buildings hit. — CNN

Jassim Albudaiwi, secretary general of GCC, said this in a statement following the 48th extraordinary meeting of the GCC Ministerial Council held via video conference on Monday. Abdullah Al-Yahya, Kuwait's minister of foreign affairs and chairman of the current session of the Ministerial Council, chaired the meeting, which was attended by the GCC foreign ministers. The meeting decided to activate the Emergency Management Center to prevent environmental and radiological hazards. Albudaiwi said that the meeting reviewed that the region has been witnessing an extremely dangerous and unprecedented escalation in recent days due to the attacks by the Israeli occupation forces on Iran and the response by Iran.
