Lewis Cuthbert, 25, has not been seen since 4pm on Monday, August 4.
A frantic search is underway to trace a Scots busker who has been missing for nearly two weeks.

Lewis Cuthbert, 25, has not been seen since 4pm on Monday, August 4. The last sighting of Lewis was in the Lesmahagow Road area of Strathaven in South Lanarkshire.

He was reported missing to police on Friday, August 8. Officers say it's unusual for him to be out of contact with his family.

Lewis is described as around 5ft 10ins, of a slim build and with short, brown curly hair.
When last seen, he was wearing a brown jacket with a collar, dark coloured rolled up jeans and brown dress shoes.
Lewis is known to go to Glasgow city centre to busk.
He was also carrying a black backpack, a Bluetooth speaker and a microphone at the time of his disappearance.
He also goes for walks in the countryside around Strathaven.

Inspector Billy Sloan said: 'It is unusual for Lewis to be out of contact with his family for this length of time and extensive searches and enquiries are ongoing to trace him.
'Concerns are growing for his welfare and we need to make sure he is safe and well so we are asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be to get in touch.
'If you live in the Strathaven area please keep an eye out for him and also check gardens and sheds in case he has sought shelter.
'We are also asking people to look out for him in the city centre of Glasgow as he busks.'
Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1371 of Friday, 8 August, 2025.

Two arrested after pro-Palestine activists target Scot's arms company

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) TWO PRO-PALISTINE protesters have been arrested after they allegedly targeted a Scot's arms company 'locked' on to a van they abandoned at the front gate. It is alleged that the activists from the 'Shut Down Leonardo Edinburgh' blocked the entrance to the Italian firm's factory in the capital earlier today. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up Just after 6am it's alleged the group parked a van across the entrance before a man 'locked' himself to the roof and another was inside the vehicle. The factory was also targeted with glass jars, filled with red and green paint in a bid to block access and shut the site down. Cops attended and a specialist team was brought in to safely remove the pair It's understood that it took around five hours to remove the duo. A spokesperson for the campaign group said: "With most world leaders either ignoring Israel's genocide in Gaza, or actively involved in it, we cannot look aside while our Palestinian brothers and sisters are being exterminated. "By shutting down Leonardo, we hope to disrupt the supply chain to the deadly F-35 war planes." In December last year, a spokesperson for Leonardo insisted the company does not 'supply equipment' directly to Israel. The factory has been previously targeted by pro-Palestinian protestors for its role in supplying equipment used by the Israel Defense Forces - specifically guidance kits for F-35 jets. Last month three women were arrested after a van was allegedly driven into a perimeter fence at the site. The trio were all charged with offences aggravated by having a "terrorist connection". Scots rapist caged for string of ‘appalling' offences

The sicko is lilely to be on the Sex Offenders Register for life BEAST BEHIND BARS Scots rapist caged for string of 'appalling' offences Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A CUNNING sex predator who preyed on young victims during a catalogue of abuse and rape was jailed for 10 years today. Michael McRobie, 34, subjected two teenagers to repeated assaults and sex crimes and even struck one underage girl with a whip. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 High Court in Edinburgh A judge at the High Court in Edinburgh told the beast, from Kirkcaldy, Fife, that his offences were 'appalling.' McRobie had denied a series of charges at an earlier trial but was convicted of 12 offences - including six of rape. All the crimes were committed in Fife. Judge Michael O'Grady KC said: "They amply demonstrate that you have a sinister, compulsive and deeply dangerous interest in children and adolescent girls. "It is clear that when you behaved as you did, you were neither stupid nor unthinking nor caught up in the moment. "It is clear that you are and were intelligent and articulate. "It is clear that you knew precisely what you were doing. "Indeed what you were doing was the product of cunning and manipulation and forethought. "One of these girls was a child and the other little more. Hilarious moment Zelensky gets revenge on reporter who criticised him for not wearing suit to first Oval Office meeting "Both in their own way were vulnerable, something you knew only too well and exploited to the full. "You are nothing more or less than a predator. "The damage you have done to these young women is incalculable and I have no doubt its shadow will hang over them for the foreseeable future, perhaps forever." Mr O'Grady ordered that he should be under supervision in the community for a four year period after his 10 year prison term when he can be returned to jail if he breaches licence conditions. He began assaulting and abusing his first victim in March 2016 when she was aged 16. During attacks on her over several months he subjected her to rape, restrained her and throttled her. McRobie subjected a second girl to more prolonged abuse which also started in March 2016 when she was aged 13. She was raped repeatedly and during abuse was hit on the body with his hands and a whip. He also sent the underage girl indecent pictures and got her to send him intimate images. McRobie also possessed indecent images of children and extreme pornographiy of bestiality with females taking part in sexual activity with animals. Defence solicitor advocate Gordon Martin said McRobie had "a very difficult background", was bullied at school and made the first attempt on his life at the age of 12. He told the court: "He is well aware he is going to be indefinitely on the sex offenders' register." The judge made non harassment orders prohibiting McRobie from contacting or attempting to contact victims.
