PETALING JAYA: An affiliate member is hoping for cool heads to prevail among the stakeholders ahead of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Malaysian Gymnastics Federation (MGF) on June 14.
Kuala Lumpur Gymnastics Association vice president Ti Deng Jay has voiced out his concern over the ongoing turmoil within MGF.

The others who made the list are Rozally Golbin (Master), Suhaili Toipin (Light Middleweight), Grace Voo (Men's Light Heavyweight), Wandy Anjum (Men's Bantamweight), Mohd Hakimi Abdullah (Men's Lightweight), Muhammad Asraf Hamza (Men's Athletic Physique below 170), Martin Magalai (Men's Light Flyweight), Allen Carlson Aloysius Sem (Men's Middleweight) and Tony Meldan Masabal (Men's Flyweight). 'Our best medal contenders are Rozally, Grace, Affan, Asraf, Tony and we also hope the rest of the bodybuilders in the team will make the top five,' he said. Cricket will be part of the 2026 Asian Games, says ACC

NEW DELHI (Bernama) : Cricket will be part of the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced. The announcement was made during the ACC's Annual General Meeting (AGM), held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Thursday. In a statement, ACC said 10 men's and eight women's teams will participate in the Games, selected based on their rankings from across the continent. The 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou marked cricket's return to the continental event after nine years. The annual meeting welcomed Mongolia, Uzbekistan, and the Philippines as new members of the ACC. Representatives from all member nations participated in the meeting either physically or virtually. The meeting was chaired by ACC President and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who was warmly welcomed on arrival in Dhaka on Wednesday by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam.
