We've all been waiting for DC Studio to release a full trailer for James Gunn's Superman , and the wait is almost over. After weeks of teasing and fan speculation, we finally have confirmation that the full trailer for the DCU movie will officially take flight this Wednesday.
The news came straight from the heart of New York City, from a fresh Times Square billboard that lit up the skyline with the big announcement, revealing the trailer date alongside a new teaser clip of David Corenswet's Superman launching into the sky.
James Gunn has been keeping fans in the loop with casual posts on social media. When a fan on Threads asked him about a 'trailer 2.5,' Gunn replied:
'You haven't even seen 1.0 yet – only a teaser and a sneak peek. I can't wait to show you guys the full trailer!'
Gunn's vision for this new chapter of the DC Universe has been one of transparency and genuine fan-first energy. And while we've seen glimpses of the film, this upcoming trailer promises to be our most revealing look yet at what Superman is really going to deliver.

Superman will tell the story of 'Superman's journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas.
'He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.
'It's set in a world very different from ours and far removed from the DCEU. Heroes have been around for ages, and we'll see how it affected this world's history and has shaped the DCU."
The cast of Superman also includes Nicholas Hoult as Lex, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois, Skyler Gisondo as Clark's best pal, Jimmy Olsen; Wendell Pierce as The Daily Planet's Perry White; Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl; Isabela Merced as Kendra Saunders, aka Hawkgirl; and Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner.
It also stars Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord; Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt, aka Mister Terrific; Maria Gabriela de Faria as Angela Spica, aka The Engineer; Sara Sampan as Eve Teschmacher; Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason, aka Metamorphosis; Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr.; Neva Howell as Martha Kent; and Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent.
The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 11, 2025.

'I don't believe in hate, attacks or hurtful comments.' Munn also criticized the coverage. 'To Ms Rachel and your fans, I hear and respect the passion behind your support. I never anticipated the media would single out one small thing I said and distort it like they have,' she wrote in an Instagram story earlier this week. Just one day after it was announced that the inimitable Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys had died, his bandmate Mike Love will be inducted into the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame. The gala, held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City Thursday night, also features inductees spanning genre, an inspiring mix of funk, rock, R&B, country and beyond: The Doobie Brothers, Ashley Gorley, Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins and Tony Macaulay. Over the last few years, Swift has been rerecording and releasing her early albums in an attempt to regain control of her music. Other celebs in attendance included former Miami Dolphins star defensive end Jason Taylor, who banged the drum before the game. Miami Heat captain Bam Adebayo was joined by former Heat captain Udonis Haslem on the drum on Monday. The defending champion Panthers led the best-of-seven series 2-1 heading into Thursday's game.
