During the meeting, Shukla shared that people around the world are excited about India's Gaganyaan mission.He added that his crew members were so enthusiastic that they made him promise to invite them to the Gaganyaan launch.During the interaction, PM Modi asked, "As the first Indian to reach there, what are your thoughts? And what kind of questions do people ask ?"Shubhanshu Shukla said, "Wherever I went, whoever I met, everyone was very happy to meet me, very excited. The biggest thing was that everyone knew about what India is doing in the field of space. Everyone knew about this, and many people were more excited about Gaganyaan. They would come and ask me, 'When is your mission going?' And my crew members made me sign that whenever Gaganyaan is gone, you will invite us to the launch."PM Modi then asked, "What change do you feel after such a long journey in space, and now coming back?"
"The environment up there is very different. Once we reach space, we can remove our seat belts and move around inside the capsule. The heart rate slows down, but the body starts adjusting in 3-4 days. But when we return to Earth, the body takes time to readjust. Even though I was healthy, I couldn't walk properly. People had to hold me for support."PM Modi asked Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla about the use of moong and methi (fenugreek).Shukla explained that food is a big challenge on space missions because space is limited and cargo is expensive. He said moong and methi are easy to grow with little water and sprout in just 8 days. "Food is a big challenge on a space station; there is less space, and cargo is expensive. You always try to pack as many calories and nutrients as possible in the least space, and experiments are going on in every way. They are very easy to grow and need very few resources, just a little water, and they sprout in only 8 days. These are some of the secrets of our country.""They used to call you tag genius. What's the reason behind that?" PM Modi asked Shukla said, "...When I joined the Air Force, I thought that I would not have to study, but I will have to study a lot after that. And after becoming a test pilot, it becomes a discipline of engineering. So I think we were well prepared, when we reached for this mission...The mission has been successful, we have returned, but this mission is not the end, it is the beginning..."PM Modi then said that the biggest work would be to have a very large pool of astronauts, 40-50 people in India. Shukla shared that when he was young, becoming an astronaut seemed impossible because there were no programs. But now, children are asking him how they can become astronauts, showing that the dream is alive. "When I was young, Rakesh Sharma sir went for the first time in 1984, but the dream of becoming an astronaut never came to my mind because we did not have any program. But when I went to the station this time, I spoke to the children three times. In every program, the children asked how can I become an astronaut? So I think this in itself is a big success for our country. In today's India, they know that it is possible. We have the option and we can become. And like you said, it is my responsibility, I feel I got a lot of opportunities to represent my country and now it is my responsibility to take as many people as possible to this level," Shukla said .PM Modi then said, "Space station and Gaganyaan. These are our big missions. Your experience will be very useful in that."Shukla then praised the government's strong commitment to the space program, despite setbacks like Chandrayaan 2, and said India has the capability to become a global leader in space."I think somewhere there is a very big opportunity for us, especially because the kind of commitment our government has made to sustain the space program, budget every year, inspite of failures like Chandrayaan 2. Even after that, we said no, we will move ahead. Chandrayaan 3 was successful. Even after such failures, if we are getting so much support and the whole world is seeing this. We have the capability, so we can acquire a leadership role here. You talked about Atmanirbharta in space manufacturing... So all these things are connected in the same way," Shukla said "If we do it self-reliantly, we will do well," said PM ModiShukla, who returned to Earth on July 15 after completing NASA's Axiom-4 (AX-4) space mission, landed in the national capital in the early hours of Sunday.Shukla was part of NASA's Axiom-4 Space Mission, which took off from NASA's Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, US, on June 25. He returned to Earth on July 15, splashing down off the coast of California. He became the first Indian in 41 years to travel to space.

With nearly 13 years of experience in the field, his expertise in discussing the most effective ways to transfer heat in such projects—based on his own hands-on work—is just one of the credentials he has acquired along the way. Verified Data The progress in this field can easily be illustrated by 2024 figures, with Brazil serving as an example. The South American nation is one of the leading economies in Latin America, the Southern Hemisphere, and among emerging countries. In this local market alone, a major industry player invested approximately US$ 2 billion in improving its data center systems last year. After all, we're talking about greater security for all users, who place significant trust in these services, as well as about the credibility earned by organizations that approach this responsibility as strategically as possible.' Successful Scenarios Artificial Intelligence has opened up multiple possibilities for achieving the resource optimization that Mohit Shrivastava highlights in the context of data center cooling systems. These possibilities range from system planning to ensuring no potential improvement is overlooked at any stage. One example comes from Nordic countries in Europe, where the environment makes it possible to use cold seawater. AI plays its part by calculating the exact formula to apply in the process. However, as emphasized, this is just one possibility, as the use of other renewable sources is also being expanded through the new partnership. 'And it doesn't stop there. Optimizing these resources covers every stage of the process. Another example is in the training of on-site professionals. We are dealing with tools capable of enhancing the skills of an already trained workforce, providing new platforms, and implementing new structures that are far more accessible and faster in carrying out these necessary operational steps—while also being much safer and more efficient.' A Distinguished Career Mohit Shrivastava is an experienced mechanical engineer with over 13 years in engineering analysis, electromechanical systems, and energy modeling. He is currently Director of Engineering Analytics at Switch, Inc., where he leads initiatives to integrate advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, predictive analytics, and digital engineering tools to optimize data center performance. The Indian expert has also stood out for other innovative pursuits in the field. One of these involves solving complex engineering challenges by bridging the physical and digital worlds—leveraging the expertise he has built in computational modeling, control systems, and machine learning. Previously, as Senior Mechanical Engineer III at Amazon Web Services, Shrivastava led energy audits, developed physics based models in Python for predicting energy consumption, and created global PUE/WUE strategies for more than 200 hyperscale data centers. He also served as a Technical Lead and Founder of Data Center AI Research Group in integrating AI and Machine Learning into operational workflows to enhance diagnostics and engineering insights. He holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University in the United States and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California and Oregon. Shrivastava is currently pursuing ISO 50001 auditor certification and holds credentials in advanced HVACR and pressure vessel design. With a passion for digital transformation, he is committed to building future-ready infrastructure through data innovation and sustainable engineering.

Another famous case occurred in 1954, in Alabama (USA), when a meteor tore through a woman's roof and struck her while she slept. She survived but was left with a massive bruise. ANI First packaged chip expected to be out by December 2025: MoS Electronics & IT Jitin Prasada The first-ever 'Made in India' semiconductor chips is expected to roll out of the assembly lines by the end of 2025, Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, said. "The first packaged chip is expected to be out by December, 2025," the Minister said in response to a questionnaire from ANI, besides underlining the status of India's nascent yet progressing semiconductor ecosystem. The government has laid a pathway towards an India that will build chips for the world, aligned across the supply chain, from assembly/testing to design, and manufacturing to exports, the minister said. The government has approved the Semicon India programme with a total outlay of Rs 76,000 crore for the development of the semiconductor and display manufacturing ecosystem in the country It provides fiscal support of 50% of the project cost on pari-passu basis for setting up of Silicon Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) based Semiconductor Fabs in India, fiscal support of 50% of project cost on pari-passu basis for setting up of Display Fabs; fiscal support of 50% of the capital expenditure on pari-passu basis for setting up of Compound Semiconductors / Silicon Photonics (SiPh) / Sensors (including Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) Fab/ Discrete Semiconductor Fab and Semiconductor Assembly, Testing, Marking and Packaging (ATMP) / Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facilities, the minister outlined. As on date, the government has approved 10 semiconductor manufacturing projects with a cumulative investment of more than Rs 1.60 lakh crore in 6 states - Gujarat, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh."The approved projects are under various phases of implementation and are expected to start commercial production in 1-5 year time frame," he said in his response, without getting into specifics of each project. These projects, according to the minister, are expected to generate more than 29,000 direct jobs, depending on the maturity of factory automation. Further, to strengthen semiconductor manufacturing, and creating a semiconductor ecosystem in the country, the government has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the US, European Union, Japan and Singapore. Semiconductor manufacturing is a very complex and a Technology intensive sector which requires specialised skilled manpower. To address this, a new curriculum was introduced by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for VLSI Design and Technology, Integrated Circuit (IC) government is also shaping skilled manpower in the semiconductor design sector and providing EDA tools to design semiconductor chips, the minister said.A 'Design Linked Incentive (DLI) Scheme' was also approved as part of the Semicon India Programme with an overall outlay of Rs 1000 Crore to nurture the entrepreneurship ecosystem by way of encouraging and supporting the design and deep tech start-ups involved in the semiconductor design ecosystem in the country."So far, 72 design companies (including start-ups and MSMEs) have been approved for semiconductor chip design infrastructure support under the DLI Scheme. Out of these, 23 companies have also been approved for P-DLI for developing semiconductor chip/ SoCs for applications in sectors such as automotive, mobility, computing, communications companies are developing semiconductor IP cores, chips, SoCs, and systems to serve the Indian market as an import substitute and for export to international markets," the minister noted. In another query regarding the progress made by the government on the AI mission front, the minister shared a status note, outlining the advances made in this emerging technology. In March 2024, the Government of India approved the IndiaAI Mission to build a precise and cohesive strategy for the AI ecosystem, catalysing AI innovation through strategic programs and partnerships across the public and private sectors. The IndiaAI Mission comprises 7 pillars: IndiaAI Compute, IndiaAI Application Development Initiative, AIKosha, The IndiaAI Foundation Models, IndiaAI FutureSkills, IndiaAI Startup Financing, and Safe and Trusted Minister further apprised that India is also set to host the upcoming Artificial Intelligence (Al) Impact Summit in February 2026, focusing on the impact of AI on People, Planet, and Progress and is the fourth in a series of global AI summits. Focus group consultations with civil society, industry, startups, academia, and international organisations have been completed, along with a round of public consultation that concluded on June 30th. A call for proposals from organizations worldwide has been launched to host affiliated pre-summit events from August 11, 2025, to January 31, 2026, the minister further said.
