Just days after his untimely passing during a polo match in the UK, the last photo of industrialist, polo patron and actress Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband Sunjay Kapur has been shared online. The photo was posted by the SUJÁN Indian Tigers Polo Team on Instagram, paying tribute to their late teammate ahead of the Cartier Trophy final.
In the now-viral photo, Sunjay can be seen wearing a big smile, dressed in a dark blue outfit, smiling with his arm around Captain Jaisal Singh. The team wrote in the caption:
'Today we play the final of the Cartier Trophy in the memory of our dear friend Sunjay Kapur, who tragically passed away on the field a few days ago. Our Captain and Patron, Jaisal Singh, will mount up with the team to observe a minute's silence in honour of his dear old friend Sunjay, and then sit out as a mark of respect 🙏."
They also revealed that the photo was taken shortly before the semi-finals of the tournament: 'This photograph of Sunjay and Jaisal was taken moments before they mounted up to play the semi-finals a few days ago. His friend and business associate, Suhel Seth, told ANI, 'Sunjay died of a heart attack, apparently after swallowing a bee during a polo match in England."
