Additionally, a popular bazaar will be held during the trip, featuring booths offering local food and handcrafted products, providing visitors the opportunity to experience the flavors and craftsmanship of the local community, and supporting local businesses. Dr. Zahi Khalil, Director General of the Jordan Hejaz Railway, confirmed that this journey is part of the organization's plans and strategy to open new horizons for tourist trains and highlight the areas rich in cultural and historical heritage across the Kingdom. He added that the Jordan Hejaz Railway seeks to enhance partnerships with municipalities, local communities, and the private sector to offer unique tourist experiences that support the local economy and revive railway stations as part of the national memory.
This initiative is part of a series of trips aimed at reconnecting Jordanians with their history and heritage through the railways, while showcasing the beauty of the geographical and cultural diversity in the Kingdom's governorates.
