Love Island 2025 winners revealed during epic season 12 finale, as couple take home £50,000 cash prize
Finalists Shakira and Harry, Yasmin and Jamie, Angel and Ty, and Toni and Cach went head-to-head in one last bid to win the £50,000 prize - and, of course, the hearts of the public.
With emotions running high, last-minute twists, and a few surprises along the way, it all came down to one dramatic final vote...
Toni and Cach were revealed as this year's winners, splitting the £50,000 cash prize.
Runners up Shakira and Harry just missed out on the prize, while Yasmin and Jamie came in third place.
Speaking to Maya afterwards Yasmin and Jamie gushed about their initial spark, with Yas saying that Jamie is the "golden retriever" to her "black cat".
Yasmin added that she could potentially see them becoming boyfriend and girlfriend on the outside, as Jamie called her "beautiful" and spoke about how happy he was to be leaving the show with her by his side - cute!
The pair met during Casa Amor and shared their first kiss and the fire pit within seconds of meeting one another. They remained coupled up from then and sailed through the final, with Yasmin asking Jamie to be exclusive.
Angel and Ty came in fourth place.
Asked if she was what he was waiting for, Ty smiled: "Yeah definitely"
The couple then sat down with Maya and she asked them about their plans to see one another, with Angel living in Kent and Ty in Barnsley. Angel said that they'd be meeting in London to begin with and had already planned some trips together. Sounds serious!
Angel was also questioned about the divide between the girls in the villa. While she admitted that she was closer to Helena and Meg, she said that she got on with all the girls and preferred to focused on her relationship with Ty, so she wasn't "part of the divide".

What The 'My Oxford Year' Ending Says About Choosing Between Love And Your Future
Spoilers below. The coming-of-age genre loves to make its characters choose between a relationship and their future. We're seeing it in The Summer I Turned Pretty, with Belly abandoning plans to study in Paris to stay with her fiancé, Jeremiah (who didn't want her to go anyway). Earlier this spring, we saw it in Forever: Justin wants to go with Keisha to Howard University, but she'd prefer that they have their own experiences. There are many other instances of this in pop culture, usually with the girl choosing a boy over her dreams. Cosmopolitan recently pointed out examples in The Hills, Boy Meets World, and more. (And let's not forget how Nate became the villain in The Devil Wears Prada for trying to keep Andy from her job.) Watching these relationships as the audience, it might be easy to scold the women who choose the boy. Like, Girl, stand up! He is not worth it! My Oxford Year, Netflix's newest romance film, complicates that decision with life-or-death stakes. The movie stars Sofia Carson (the streamer's go-to leading lady) as Anna, a big dreamer and type-A planner who takes a gap year to fulfill her childhood fantasy of attending Oxford University. Once she's done with her poetry course, she has a high-profile finance job waiting for her back in the States. But then she falls for her hot professor, Jamie Davenport (Queen Charlotte's Corey Mylchreest), who messes up her plans. Despite their undeniable mutual attraction, Jamie wants to avoid getting into a committed relationship with Anna. Not because he's emotionally unavailable, but because he has terminal cancer and doesn't want to break her heart. He has even opted to not take further treatment, despite his family's objections. Still, he and Anna can't resist each other, and they go for it anyway. They are so in love that Anna finds herself facing a critical decision: Should she still go back to the U.S. for her Goldman Sachs job, or should she stay in the U.K. with Jamie to help take care of him and keep him company for however much time he has left? An integral factor in this situation is that Jamie vehemently does not want Anna to stay. She has such a bright future ahead of her; she shouldn't give it up for a guy she just met and who won't be around for much longer. 'I would never make you make such a bloody stupid decision,' he tells her, also pointing out that there isn't much career growth if she decides to work at the university. When Anna tells him she isn't taking the Goldman job after all, he's furious. But Anna and Jamie's relationship has been quite eye-opening for her. Throughout their time together, her lifelong love for poetry and literature has only deepened. She expresses her dreams of traveling the world. She loves the Henry David Thoreau quote, 'Live life deliberately,' which has long inspired her to plan out every detail of her trajectory. But after encountering Jamie and his carpe diem approach to life, she realizes perhaps Thoreau was referring to something else. Living deliberately is not about planning everything, but about 'being definite about every small moment,' she says in the film. And what is life but not a series of moments? At the end of My Oxford Year, Anna and Jamie make up from their argument and spend the night together, but Anna wakes up to find Jamie nearly unconscious. He has a critical case of pneumonia that will likely kill him. At the hospital, the doctor wants to discuss next steps for treatment with Jamie's parents, but they decide to honor his wishes and let nature take its course. Back at home, lying on what is now Jamie's death bed, he and Anna talk about her future. Now that she's stayed in the U.K., she can go on the 'grand tour' she's always dreamed of. The itinerary includes Amsterdam, to see a hidden chapel; Paris, to get drunk by the Seine; Venice, to ride a gondola; and Greece, to see the Temple of Poseidon and swim in the Aegean Sea. As Anna plans her travels aloud, a tender montage of her and Jamie visiting these sites appears onscreen—until, in the end, it's revealed that she was alone the whole time. When the film jumps back to Jamie and Anna on the bed, it appears he has died right beside her. She might not have Jamie physically with her when she goes on her dream trip, but she does take his lessons and worldview with her as she moves forward with her life. As Carson previously told ELLE, their relationship 'changes her forever and for the better,' because she learns to 'lean into what brings her joy and what always was the love of her life, and that was poetry and literature.' Sure enough, in the film's final scene, Anna is now a professor at Oxford, teaching a poetry class of her own. My Oxford Year argues that choosing your love is choosing your future—especially if that love helps you achieve the dreams you were too scared to chase. In a sense, it eliminates the decision entirely, because you can have both; you can have your cake and eat it too. It's very romantic, it's melodramatic, and it's definitely rare, but it works in the context of a sappy, two-hour Netflix film with Sylvia Plath references and idyllic English settings. But in the cases of Belly from TSITP or Lauren from The Hills (who are both 'the girl who didn't go to Paris'), or any experience rooted deeper in reality, it's not quite the same. Those decisions, and the men involved, require a little more... deliberating. ELLE Collective is a new community of fashion, beauty and culture lovers. Are Love Island's Meg and Dejon still together? Relationship timeline and latest news
Meg and Dejon's Love Island journey officially came to an end a day before the final, as former Islanders returned to the show and voted them out for being the most incompatible couple. The duo coupled up from the very first episode and remained together until the end, but their journey was anything but smooth sailing. Despite the pair insisting that their connection was genuine, many weren't convinced - especially as Dejon repeatedly explored connections with bombshells throughout the season (Malisha, Caprice, Yasmin, Billykiss, Andrada... need we say more?) Others questioned the timing of their relationship milestones, which always seemed to coincide with moments of doubt or criticism from the other Islanders - from going exclusive, to becoming boyfriend and girlfriend a couple days later, and even dropping the L-word. Here's everything we know, including their full relationship timeline. As far as we know, Meg and Dejon are still together. They left the show as boyfriend and girlfriend, with Meg saying that they'll be "proving to everyone we are actually going to stay together! Spending time together and introducing one another to family and friends." Dejon added: "I definitely want to have a conversation with her family, get to know them and have her meet my family so they can see the real us. A lot of the Islanders saw how genuine we were and I have no doubt it will be like that with our families. After that hopefully we can move in together as I can't imagine not living with her." Meg and Dejon coupled up on the first day of Love Island. Meg chose him from his dating profile alone, and while she wasn't too sure in beginning, saying that her feelings were at "50 per cent", that attraction grew very quickly. Just days into the show, Malisha entered the villa and took Dejon on a date, and Meg wasn't happy - cue the iconic Tape Nightclub argument. Meg even snuck up to the terrace to eavesdrop on Malisha and Dejon's chat. Nevertheless, Dejon chose to stay in a couple with her, sending Malisha home. Their next test came during the sleepover when D got to know Caprice away from the main villa. The pair flirted and he even fed her grapes on one night. They also shared a few kisses during the game, however, D said that what he had with Meg was stronger and returned to the main villa to be with her. But, it didn't stop there. Dejon soon flirted up a storm with Yasmin, talking about threesomes and getting intimate, and during a game they kissed, which didn't sit well with Meg. Next was Billykiss, who Dejon seemed keen to get to know on their date. Despite all this, they remained in a couple and made it to Casa Amor together. During Casa Amor, Dejon got flirting with Andrada and even shared a kiss with her (during the games). He told Andrada that he hoped she was coming back to the main villa so that he could carry on getting to know her, however, didn't make clear whether he'd be choosing to recouple with her. Dejon slept outside on the day beds during Casa Amor, while Meg shared a bed with Martin, as she expressed her worries to Helena and Emily. She felt she'd let a lot of things slide with D and that he needed to make it clear whether he wanted to be with her or not. The pair decided to stay with one another and when Dejon returned to the villa, Meg went off on him saying that her name is "Meg not Mug", after Andrada revealed that they had a connection in Casa. After a day or two, Dejon decided to make things exclusive with Meg. Movie night ruffled some feathers in the villa, as Dejon's flirty ways were broadcast to the rest of the villa in 4K. Meg was upset and confronted Dejon about this, at which point he told her he could take back the exclusiveness - yikes. A few days later and after making up, they were sent on their first date. They returned to the villa as boyfriend and girlfriend - something that raised a few eyebrows amongst the cast, with Shakira and Toni pointing out how soon it had happened after weeks of Dejon exploring other connections. During the family and friends visit, Meg gushed to her mum and sister, telling them that D does everything for her, to which her sister revealed that they didn't see that watching at home. Despite this, they continued in their couple, and Dejon later revealed that he's in love with Meg. As the final neared, the couple started to experience a few issues in their relationship. During the final dates, Meg called out Dejon after he chose Yasmin as the person he'd be coupled up with if he wasn't with Meg during a challenge. D then asked her if she was trying to make him look bad in front of the cameras. Nevertheless, they managed to smooth things over and went to the terrace to talk and hug it out. The conversation comes after Blu told Dejon that the public were backing Toni and Shakira, while Meg and the other girls didn't have the same support. When the former Islanders returned to the villa, Meg and Dejon received the most votes and were dumped from the villa. Explaining why they chose them as the most incompatible couple, some said they "always argued" and that they shouldn't be together if they're not "happy" - to this Meg insisted they're happy. Andrada brought the receipts, specifically mentioning moments from their final date. She told Dejon it was a "bad move" from him to mention the cameras, and said to Meg that she genuinely felt bad for her watching the show. Following their exit, Dejon said: "I wasn't shocked to leave because of the timing of mine and Meg's argument that we had. I knew people might not like that, so I wasn't shocked to leave, but I know what we have is real and in real relationships you have disagreements. I'm still grateful for our experience and I wouldn't have changed it." Outside the villa, the couple have wasted no time, already sharing their first Instagram collab post. "To growth, love, and our next chapter. Thank you all for supporting our journey , it doesn't go unnoticed," Dejon wrote alongside an image of him and Meg dressed in white outfits. Love Island is available to stream on ITVX.

Are Love Island's Ty and Angel still together? Relationship timeline and latest news
Angel was the last Love Island bombshell to enter the villa this year, just weeks before the final. She went straight for Ty and the pair remained in a couple until the end, finishing in fourth place with 18.2 per cent of the votes - not bad for two bombshells. During the finale, the show's host Maya Jama questioned how they planned on making things work, with Angel living in Kent and Ty in Barnsley. So, are they still together? Read on for everything you need to know about the couple. As far as we know, yes. Angel and Ty left the villa in a couple and spoke about plans to meet in London once back in the UK, as well as a baecation. Asked if she was what he was waiting for, Ty smiled: "Yeah definitely". While Ty joined the show as a Casa Amor bombshell, initially getting to know Shakira who he later coupled up with, he didn't actually meet Angel until the final weeks of season 12 when she entered as a bombshell and dumped Lauren (who he was coupled up with at the time). Despite a little flirting between Harry and Angel, the duo remained in a couple until the end of the show and made it to final together. They received a few votes when the former Islanders returned to the villa and had to choose between them and Meg and Dejon as the most incompatible couple. While some felt that they wouldn't work on the outside, including Giorgio who knew Angel before the show, others said that it wasn't fair to choose them as they didn't have much time as the other couples. Nevertheless, Meg and Dejon received the most votes and were therefore dumped from the villa, putting Angel and Ty in the final. Angel and Ty made it to the final and finished in fourth place behind third place couple Yasmin and Jamie, runners-up Shakira and Harry, and this year's winners Toni and Cach. Following the final, the duo thanked the public in an Instagram video posted to the official Love Island page. "Thank you so much. We really appreciate every one of your votes," Angel said. "Yeah, it means the world guys. Thank you very much," Ty added. Angel then gushed: "This has been the best summer ever. I've had the best experience and I've met my boy!" before going in for a kiss with Ty. We really hope they last! Love Island is available to stream on ITX.
