Tottenham Hotspur Are Eager To Land This Liverpool Playmaker: Good Option For Frank?
Elliott's Important Role At Merseyside Last Season
Elliott managed to shine at times for the Reds in the previous campaign when he put in a handful of promising displays for them in the final third. The 22-year-old scored five goals and earned three assists in 28 matches for the Merseyside outfit last season on all fronts.
The English talent was not shy of having a strike at goal as he averaged 4.12 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. However, he only kept 23.5% of his attempts on target. Elliott was even accurate when distributing possession in the final third, based on his pass completion rate of 82.2% in league football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at Anfield will run out in the summer of 2027. Thus, Tottenham would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting Elliott in this transfer window.

Is Elliott A Good Option For Tottenham Hotspur?
Elliott can shoot the ball with power and precision from long range and has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in and around the opponent's penalty area.
The English talent is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can chip in by scoring and creating a few important goals for his team. He is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also serve as a box-to-box midfielder or as a right-sided wide player if asked to do so.
Elliott would no doubt enhance the quality of Tottenham boss Thomas Frank's attack. He is good enough to compete for a regular starting spot at the North London club this season.
At 22, there is still a lot of room for improvement in Elliott's game. He would be an excellent option for Spurs to consider in this summer transfer window. Elliott would also help Tottenham challenge across all competitions over the next few years. Thus, Frank would be wise to go all out to secure the Liverpool sensation's services soon.

Liverpool now £5m away from AGREEING transfer
Liverpool are just £5m away from agreeing a transfer. It's one the Reds sorely need to make happen, too. Liverpool are in desperate need of a new centre-back. That was apparent on Sunday in the Community Shield against Crystal Palace. The Reds saw Ibrahima Konate go down in the first half for what ultimately turned out to be a minor eye injury. It sparked a moment of panic, however - who would come on if he had to go off? Shop the LFC Store 🚨2025/26 LFC x adidas range🚨 LFC x adidas Shop the home range today! Jarell Quansah, last season's other choice, has left for Bayer Leverkusen without a replacement. So who comes on? Wataru Endo? Andy Robertson? The squad is now short on centre-backs. Something needs to change there and thankfully, it is. Liverpool are currently pushing to sign at least one centre-back, with both Marc Guehi and Giovanni Leoni shortlisted. Deals for both are in the works and it sounds as though one might be close. Liverpool near Marc Guehi deal Liverpool are apparently just £5m away from agreeing a fee for Marc Guehi. Crystal Palace are eager to cash-in on the defender as he now has slightly under one year left on his contract. Now, the source for this is Indykaila. Which makes this a first for Anfield Watch (and me) as Indy hasn't been considered a trusted source before. Then this transfer window happened and he keeps getting things right. David Ornstein credited Indy on his Carlos Baleba to Manchester United story. Now the journalist has spoken on camera about Indy with The Sports Agents podcast, saying that for everything he's been told, Indy is in fact legitimate. So it appears Indy does in fact know what he's talking about. And in that case, Liverpool appear to be close to an agreement with Palace. Of course, that's not the entire deal. The club still need to convince Guehi himself and that might not be entirely simple with Konate still at the club. He's not going to leave Palace a year early just to sit on the bench every week. We'll have to wait and see how that one goes, then. But it appears we're close. **🔴 **Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas home range 🔴

Graham Clark snatches victory for Northern Superchargers with last-ball six
Graham Clark hit a last-ball six to snatch a dramatic three-wicket victory for Northern Superchargers against Southern Brave in The Hundred at Southampton. With his side needing five to win and having just faced two dot balls, Clark clubbed Tymal Mills over the boundary at mid-wicket to top-score with 38 from 24 balls. Zak Crawley had earlier contributed 29 and England team-mate Harry Brook 22 as the Superchargers chased down the Brave's 139 for five, finishing 141 for seven. In the women's match, Brave remain unbeaten and moved to the top of the table after an eight-wicket win. Sophie Devine took three for 15 while the partnership of Danni Wyatt-Hodge (43) and Laura Wolvaardt (33 not out) made 61 as Brave successfully hit a target of 103 set for them with 17 balls to spare for their third triumph of the season. The visitors were all out for 102 with Devine a particular thorn in their side, removing Phoebe Litchfield for five before seeing off Linsey Smith and Lucy Higham with consecutive deliveries. In Cardiff, Kathryn Bryce was stumped by younger sister Sarah, but still led Manchester Originals Women to a thumping seven-wicket win over Welsh Fire. The elder Bryce sibling had made 45 off 41 balls when she was beaten by Jess Jonassen, with Bryce junior removing the bails. But the Originals cruised past their meagre target of 74 for the loss of just three wickets. Bryce had earlier taken two wickets and Lauren Filer took three in five balls as Fire were restricted to 73 for nine.
