Aditya Roy Kapur and the actor as a VJ
Long before he made his mark as a film actor,
Aditya Roy Kapur
began his journey in front of the camera as a popular VJ on Channel V. His laid-back charm and easy screen presence made him a favourite among viewers and set the stage for what would eventually become a successful film career.
Years later, while filming a segment of his latest release Metro... In Dino, Aditya found himself standing once again on the very ground where it had all begun — Chandivali Studio in Mumbai. The studio, steeped in Bollywood history, holds a special place in his heart, as it was the hub of his early days as a television host.
'Dada (
Anurag Basu
) loves shooting at Chandivali Studio. It's actually where I started out. My very first job was as a VJ, and we shot everything there. So going back to that studio really brought back memories. It was a nostalgic experience to go back to the studio where I used to shoot as a VJ,' shared the actor.
