Despite an attempt by the Heats' Bryson Warren, Bronny dominated them with his dunking moves. The young Lakers star executed an impressive tomahawk dunk, taking the NBA fans down memory lane with his legendary dad's iconic dunking skills. During an interview with ESPN, LeBron James opened up on his signature moves. He said-
"I don't know because it's not like I have a signature one-legged Dirk fadeaway, or a patented Michael Jordan fadeaway, or a Kareem skyhook, or a Dream Shake.
I've been able to do things that just are not a signature. I think the only signature thing that people always talk about is my signature tomahawk dunk in transition.'

He further mentioned—
'People always kind of talk about that being the signature. Even one of my teammates now, Lonnie Walker, always talks about the LeBron signature tomahawk dunk, and that's been pretty cool. And that came out of nowhere too. My brother Brandon Weems, who's now in the front office with the Cavs, got a steal vs. Oak Hill my senior year and threw it to me, and on national television I was just living in the moment, and it became a signature of mine.
"
As a 20-year-old, Bronny James has big shoes to fill. The expectations of the NBA world and the comparison with his father will surely never make his game easier.

Kyrie Irving shuts down 'LeBron is my dad' talk, reflects on evolved bond with former teammate

Kyrie Irving and LeBron James share a cordial relationship (Image via Getty Images) Recently, NBA player Kyrie Irving uploaded a Twitch video where he claimed that people reportedly ask him if LeBron James is his father. Addressing those, he said that the question is really crazy. They have a friendly relationship. After their time as teammates in the Cleveland Cavaliers and a phase of apparent misunderstanding, Kyrie Irving and LeBron James have shown respect for one another in recent times. Kyrie Irving addresses LeBron father figure rumor, says their bond is now based on mutual respect During the same Twitch video on June 12, which was later uploaded on X, Kyrie Irving could be seen appearing with his father. He then said: 'I only have one father, Drederick Irving… This is my father… And I'm glad we got to recreate that meme, bro, because that question was crazy. When somebody asked me if LeBron was like a father figure to me, bro, that was crazy, bro. That was a crazy-a*s question. He's like a few years older than me. You asked this man if he was my father figure, bro… I got my father right there, Drederick Irving. No disrespect, bro.' The video seemed only for fun. The question is possibly raised from the fact that Kyrie Irving and LeBron James are really close. The former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates have a complicated connection. Even though there were problems in their relationship, right now, they appear to be doing well. The Dallas Mavericks player also acknowledged the NBA legend's influence on his career. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like She's 75 and Retiring - Her Handcrafted Jewelry Is 80% OFF Artisan Weekly Read More Undo In response, the NBA icon has openly commended the player and even mentioned how much he misses their collaboration. Additionally, the NBA legend also referred to the Mavs player as "the most gifted player the NBA has ever seen" in a June 5, 2024, episode of the Mind the Game podcast. He also said that he was "so f--king mad" that they were no longer teammates. During the same episode, ESPN's Brian Windhorst stated that although the players' friendship had soured after the point guard asked to be traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 offseason, it has now recovered. Kyrie Irving in action (Image via Getty Images) Windhorst then explained: "When Kyrie left Cleveland, they pretty much didn't talk for years. They were at odds… At some point in the last few years, they've made up to the point where LeBron actively wanted the Lakers to trade for Kyrie Irving a couple of times when he was on the trade block ... The Lakers made an offer at the trade deadline last year, Dallas' offer was just better." Kyrie Irving and LeBron James' relationship has matured- from a complex mix of admiration, rivalry, and independence to one of mutual respect. While they may never reunite as teammates, their shared history remains one of the most impactful and discussed partnerships in modern NBA history. Los Angeles Lakers begin quiet shift to Luka Doncic while LeBron James is left reacting not leading

(Image Source - Getty Images) The Los Angeles Lakers didn't need to say it out loud. Not when Luka Doncic got the inside scoop on a $10 billion sale and LeBron James didn't. Not when Doncic shared a private dinner with top brass while James stayed uninvolved. This wasn't a coincidence. It feels like a carefully planned handover of power in Los Angeles, and LeBron may be watching his era fade without even being told it's ending. Luka Doncic knew about the Los Angeles Lakers' sale before LeBron James After trading Anthony Davis for Luka Doncic at the February deadline, the Lakers have been making some quiet moves that hint they're setting Doncic up to be their main guy for the long haul. A key moment came in early May when general manager Rob Pelinka and coach JJ Redick had a private dinner at Craig's with Doncic and his agent—serious strategy talks over wine and cap tables, while LeBron James was noticeably missing. This meeting wasn't just a casual get-together—it was a clear message, Doncic is 'the face of the franchise.' To further emphasize the change — when the Buss family sold the Lakers to Mark Walter on June 18 for around $10 billion, Luka Doncic was given advance notice and immediately congratulated the organization. In contrast, LeBron James had to discover the news just like the rest of the public — no prior warning, no social media acknowledgment, no insider tips. For a player who's usually in the know about front-office strategies, that silence must have felt overwhelming. Despite LeBron having a $52.6 million player option for 2025–26, the Lakers made no serious attempts to negotiate an extension with him. He eventually opted in on June 29, but only after his agent, Rich Paul, intervened—pointing out the minimal dialogue that took place. According to ESPN insiders, this lack of interaction indicates a 'planned end date' for LeBron James as the franchise pivot continues to evolve. LeBron looks like he's sending out some signals. While he stays professional in public, he's been teasing a return to the Cleveland Cavaliers on social media—leading insiders to claim that "nothing LeBron does happens by accident." Whether it's just playful teasing or the start of something bigger, it certainly adds another twist to this unfolding narrative. Also Read: Shaquille O'Neal settles for $1.8M in FTX lawsuit with Tom Brady and Stephen Curry also under fire The Los Angeles Lakers' shift to Luka Doncic is also caused by age, he is 40 years old. The Lakers were looking for a star who can replace him in the near future for the long run that's why he was traded in February for Anthony Davis.
