‘Endangered' teen girl missing for several days last seen near 57th Street Beach
CHICAGO — Police are asking for help in the search for an endangered teen girl who officers said has been missing for several days.
According to Chicago police, 17-year-old Sirrena Jackson has been missing since around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11.

Officers said she was last seen near 57th Street Beach in Hyde Park.
Police described the teen as an 'endangered missing juvenile,' though it is unclear exactly why.
The missing teen, who has red hair and brown eyes, stands 5-foot-4 and weighs around 100 pounds.
Additionally, the teen is known to have a tattoo on her right knee that reads 'GCSY.'
Details about the missing teen's disappearance were shared by police in a news release Friday afternoon, but officers did not say what she was last seen wearing.

1 killed, 2 hurt in Dillon County after vehicle overturns running from police
DILLON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was killed and two others hurt in a Friday afternoon wreck involving a vehicle running from police, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said. It happened just after 12:30 p.m. on South Longstreet Road near Homelight Road when a 2023 Dodge Charger ran off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned.
