Brooklyn Beckham shared VERY telling advice for sister Harper, 13, before family feud was exposed

Daily Mail27-05-2025

His choice of wife appears to have caused a devastating family feud that seems almost irreparable.
But when asked what his advice would be to his only sister Harper Seven, 13, Brooklyn Beckham said: 'Find that one thing that you love and don't listen to anyone.'
David, 50, and Victoria, 51, are involved in a bitter fallout with their eldest son, 26, and it is understood his wife Nicola Peltz, daughter of an American billionaire, is at the heart of it.
The feud had been kept secret by the Beckhams for months and in what was his last interview before the bitter family rift surfaced, Brooklyn shared advice he gave Harper about growing up in the spotlight.
Speaking ahead of his race for Formula E in March, Brooklyn told the Mail: 'I just tell her, find that one thing that you love and just put your head down, don't listen to anyone.'

It comes as Brooklyn issued a clear message to his family that he was siding with Nicola, 30, who he calls the love of his life, by sharing a gushing Instagram post to his wife of three years.
The aspiring chef wrote: 'I always choose you baby, you're the most amazing person in the world, me and you forever baby.'
Hours after the post, Cruz, the Beckhams' youngest son waded in on the row for the first time by writing an Instagram post in support of his parents, showing he does not side with Brooklyn.
The 20-year-old aspiring musician penned: 'I love my family. I love you guys more than anything, mum and dad you gave us life and cared for us no matter what, I cannot tell you how blessed we are to have you in our lives.'
David and Victoria have resigned to the fact that they have become estranged from their beloved son after he failed to attend any of the football ace's 50th birthday celebrations last month.
Despite flying to London, Brooklyn and Nicola didn't attend the big family party at the Beckhams' Cotswolds home or an idyllic trip to France or a meal at Notting Hill restaurant, Core.
Earlier this week, there was further proof of the irreparable nature of the rift when Brooklyn and Nicola jetted to the capital from their home in Los Angeles on Monday for a joint photoshoot with Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler.
It took place less than two miles away from the Beckham family home in Holland Park, west London. Brooklyn didn't even tell David and Victoria they were in the country - let alone meet with them.

On Sunday the eldest child of Victoria and David, Brooklyn, 26, pledged his loyalty to his wife Nicola in a new post which said: 'I always choose you'
He appeared to make his feelings clear in his latest Instagram video and caption
Harper - who turns 14 in July - was exceptionally close with Brooklyn and Nicola, who often shared pictures of her on Instagram gushing over the teen and calling her 'my younger sister'.
It will no doubt be heartbreaking for the Beckhams' youngest child with speculation as to whether her eldest brother will attend her 14th birthday celebrations.
It comes after Victoria and husband David made yet another attempt to extend an olive branch to their son Brooklyn on Thursday evening as they attended the TIME100 Impact Dinner in New York City.
Putting on a united front at the event the couple displayed a family photo taken at Victoria's 50th last year which included all four of their children.
It captured a moment reminiscent of happier times for the family, prior to their ongoing feud with their eldest son and his wife Nicola.
While Brooklyn was present at the former Spice Girl's big birthday last year, both he and his wife failed to make an appearance at her 51st or at David's 50th earlier this month.
And while his other brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz took to social media to pay their birthday tributes to their parents, on both occasions Brooklyn stayed silent.
Earlier this week David was named on the Time100 Philanthropy list as he was recognised for his decades of advocacy and philanthropy, particularly through his work with UNICEF.
And while David and Victoria are understood to be devastated following the fall-out with Brooklyn, as revealed by The Daily Mail's Katie Hind, the pair put on a united front at the event.
The Spice Girls alum cut an elegant figure in a sharp black tuxedo jacket and pants, paired with a white button up underneath.
Meanwhile David looked handsome as ever in a black suit and tie as they posed with NBA star Stephen Curry, 37, and his wife Ayesha Curry, 36.

However Thursday's event isn't the first time the couple have attempted to offer an olive branch to Brooklyn after Victoria took to Instagram last Monday to share a group photo of their four children alongside her father, Tony Adams - who celebrated his birthday over the weekend.
Captioning the post with the accompanying message: 'We both love you all so much!', the undated photo also features Victoria's mother Jackie, flanked by Brooklyn and his siblings Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, 13.
David is allegedly 'desperate to make amends with his son as he fears history is repeating itself' following his bitter fall out with his father Ted in 2005.
In the latest evidence of this, David included Brooklyn in a post about Mother's Day in the U.S. as he dedicated a post to the mother of his children, Victoria.
A sweet black and white photo showed Victoria cuddled up with her four kids, soon after welcoming their daughter Harper.
Alongside the photo, David wrote: 'Happy Mother's Day to the best mommy. To all our friends in the U.S. Happy Mother's Day.'
Meanwhile, Victoria shared a photograph of a beautiful bouquet of flowers she had been sent by Cruz and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29.
While David and his dad Ted, 77, now share a close-knit relationship, the father-son duo were once not even on speaking terms.
After Ted suffered a near-death health scare in 2007, it sparked the pair to make amends and get back in touch - and they have been close ever since.
And now David is reportedly worried 'history is repeating itself' amid his rift with his eldest son Brooklyn.

China's vice president visits Spain as mutual courtship blossoms

MADRID, June 10 (Reuters) - China's Vice President Han Zheng arrived in Spain on Tuesday for a four-day trip during which he will meet with King Felipe and Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, a further sign of increasingly close economic and political ties. Han's visit is taking place two months after Sanchez visited Beijing for the third time in as many years. There, he sought to woo China's President Xi Jinping as global trade reels from U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs policy. The Socialist premier has been vying to position Madrid as an interlocutor between China and the European Union, as well as to attract more Chinese investment in advanced technology such as batteries, electric vehicles and hydrogen. Last year, auto maker Stellantis and Chinese battery maker CATL announced plans to build one of Europe's largest EV battery factories in Spain. However, not all is idyllic in Spain's relations with China. Beijing's anti-dumping inquiry into EU pork launched last year in retaliation for Brussels' tariffs on Chinese EVs hit Spain, a top exporter, hard. Sanchez's last visit to China, however, clinched expanded access for Spanish exports of pork stomach - a product widely consumed in China but not previously authorised. Han will meet with Sanchez on Wednesday morning in Madrid, Sanchez's office said, while King Felipe will receive the Chinese official on Thursday, according to the royal household's agenda. The Spanish monarch is also scheduled to visit China later this year to commemorate the signing of a strategic partnership 20 years ago. After his meetings with Sanchez and Spain's king, Han is set to travel to Seville to meet Andalusia's regional leader, Juan Manuel Moreno, who last year secured over 2.5 billion euros ($2.86 billion) of Chinese investments in the southern Spanish region. According to projections by tourism lobby Turespana, the number of visitors to Spain from China is expected to surge by 36% this summer compared to last year, making Spain the European destination with the biggest growth in tourists from the Asian nation. Jamie Foxx breaks down in tears at splashy event causing his KIDS to cry too

Jamie Foxx, 57, broke down in tears as he accepted the Ultimate Icon Award, at the BET Awards on Monday night in Los Angeles. 'Man, we used to take this saying for granted — that God is good,' the Oscar winner said as he began his touching speech. 'God is good,' he said again, to which the audience reacted, saying 'All the time.' 'All the time,' Foxx repeated, to which the crowd shouted back 'God is good.' 'I cannot even begin to express the love that I feel from everybody out there,' he continued, accepting the award presented by Stevie Wonder, 75. 'I gotta be honest, when I saw the in memoriam..... that could have been me,' the Ray star explained breaking down, as a cutaway shot showed his two daughters, Corrine, 31, and Anelise, 16 fighting back their own tears. 'I don't know why I went what I went through what I went through, but I know my second chance I'm not going to turn down... I have so much love to give.' Speaking of the conversation he had with his higher power during his near- fatal brain bleed that lead to a stroke, he said, 'I told him, I said, "Man, bro, just give me one more crack at this and I promise"... I said, "Whatever reason you put this on me, I promise Imma do right."' He then told the audience, 'And Imma do right in front of y'all, 'cause I know a lot of times, when we get on, we forget where we come from.' The actor said when he produced his Netflix special, Jamie Foxx: What Happened Was... 'it was in front of Black people. Black people was the one that said, "man, we got you." 'Not to say that white people can't pray either,' he added, which got a laugh from the audience. 'I know that sounds weird, but you know what I'm saying,' he continued, 'but you can't go through something like that and not testify.' He broke out in song, using his impression of Ray Charles to sing a few lines from his song I Got A Woman. After thanking his team for standing by him, he continued, saying, 'thank you to Black people and the Black award, because this is what really counts. A lot of people think the Oscars, is like, the biggest thing, and we gotta quick thinking like that. The Icon Award is the most important award because it comes from us.' Foxx, who won the Oscar in 2005, said the Ultimate Icon award was 'the most important award because it comes from us' The Back in Action star then thanked his family. 'I have to thank my sister Deirdre, who's in the audience right now. When I went through what I was going through she shut it down and she made sure that she took care of her brother,' giving the 'little girl from Dallas' credit for doing hair and makeup on 'all the Marvel films.' 'My beautiful daughter Corrine, I cannot say enough about you,' he said. 'You've always taken the backseat to everything, but when you needed to drive it, you drove., and you made sure I was here...., adding, 'at a certain point I'm going to stop crying, but I'm not going to stop crying just yet.' 'Analise Estelle Foxx, my baby with the big hair. She hides under that hair, 'cause she's got something special,' he said, sharing the story of how the teen snuck into his hospital room to play guitar for him. 'I realized God was in that guitar,' he explained of his miraculous recovery. 'God is good, and all the time,' he concluded with the same call and response with which he began his speech.

Independent Scotland would cut ties with Israel, says SNP Westminster leader

An independent Scotland would sever diplomatic ties with Israel, the SNP's Westminster leader has said. Speaking on the News Agents podcast, Stephen Flynn said he was 'deeply upset and angry' about what was happening in Gaza as he hit out at the UK Government's 'weak' position on the issue. The Scottish Government, under the leadership of both Humza Yousaf and John Swinney, has been outspoken on the conflict, consistently calling for a ceasefire and for humanitarian aid to be able to enter Gaza. The Aberdeen South MP also said the UK Government should do something to catch the Israeli government's attention as it looks to ramp up pressure. Asked if an independent Scotland would close its embassies in Israel and break off relations with the country, Mr Flynn said it would. 'I've gone into the House of Commons on God knows how many occasions now and listened to David Lammy and Hamish Falconer, the Middle East minister, and they've told us how 'we're going to do this, or we're going to do that, and this is the latest thing we're going to do'. 'And then he stands up and says, 'but they're ignoring us'. 'Well, if they're ignoring you, then do something that captures their attention.' Mr Flynn's comments come as the Foreign Secretary announced the UK would be sanctioning two Israeli ministers. Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, Israel's security minister and finance minister respectively, have been 'inciting violence against Palestinian people for months and months and months, they have been encouraging egregious abuses of human rights', David Lammy said. Both will be subject to a travel ban and asset freeze. The Westminster SNP leader went on to say that it would not be 'wise' for his party's MPs to visit Israel, claiming they were likely to be turned away from the country, as happened with Labour MPs earlier this year, owing to the party's outspoken opposition to the conduct of the war in Gaza. 'I'd be amazed if any of them did, because they're not daft, and they probably know that they would get turned around and stuck on a plane right back out Israel,' he said. 'Look, I'm deeply, deeply upset and angry about what's happened in Gaza, and what continues to happen in Gaza, and the fact that the UK position has been so weak for far too long in respect of this. 'I think it's important that you convey your views to people who are rational actors.'
