Tragedy as beloved tattoo artist dies giving birth to her third child

Daily Mail10-05-2025

A close-knit community is reeling after a beloved Queensland tattoo artist and young mum tragically died shortly after giving birth to her third child.
Stacey Nightingale from Montville on the Sunshine Coast died on Wednesday with her family taking to Instagram to share the sad news to her 13,200 followers.
'Stacey was a unique and beautiful beacon of light in this world who left such an impact on everyone she met,' the post said.
'She passed shortly after birthing her third child. She fought hard to stay with us but eventually transitioned to death.
'Words cannot describe this loss for anyone that knew her, especially her family, fiancé and three children. We will honour Stacey in every way we can and always keep her spirit close.'
Her devastated fiancé and partner of 13 years Chris Yantra said he fell in love with Ms Nightingale when she showed her paintings to him shortly before she began her career as a tattoo artist.
'I knew you would be known for your art... You saw the world in her own way and I adored you for that. You truly radiated beauty,' he said.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health sent its 'sincerest condolences' to Ms Nightingale's grieving family.
'Sunshine Coast Health protects the privacy and confidentiality of patients and won't provide further information on individual circumstances of care,' a spokesperson said.
Friend Kellee Hollywood has started a GoFundMe for the young mum's family.
'Stacey brought light wherever she went,' she wrote.
'Her laughter, strength, and deep wisdom touched the lives of many. She walked this earth with purpose and grace, and her love continues to echo through her beautiful children and all those she held close.
' This GoFundMe is dedicated to supporting Chris and her beautiful children in the wake of this profound loss.
'Funds will go toward support for this family, costs associated with her memory and will help carry forward the legacy of love and light that Stacey so deeply believed in.
'We thank you for your support, your prayers, and your willingness to stand with us during this time. Every contribution - no matter the size - is a gesture of love that helps hold this family through the unimaginable.'

MAFS star reveals she was cruelly mum-shamed at son's sports day after giving him an ‘unhealthy' lunch

A MARRIED At First Sight star has revealed she was cruelly mum-shamed at her son's school after she opted to give him an unhealthy lunch. MAFS AU bride Cyrell Paule took to her Instagram stories to reveal the shock in-person encounter which happened during her child's sports day. 4 4 The reality TV star revealed she had been sick all week and had been struggling to make a packed lunch for her child to take with him to school. Her illness even left her debating whether to bother to go and watch her son during his sports day at all after being left feeling so run down. As a result, she told how when she did manage to make it along to his school, she decided to buy him a McDonald's for his lunch after being unable to make him anything healthier. But she was soon bashed by another mum who shamed her for feeding her son fast-food during a sports day. On Instagram, Cyrell wrote: "Today I was mummu shamed... at least that's how it felt." She then spoke to the camera, in which she said: "By the time it was lunch time, I thought, do you know what, there is a Maccas [McDonald's] down the road. "I was so sick and so yeah, I won't lie, I didn't really pack him a suitable lunch for a sports carnival. "He didn't have the carrots or a cut-up cucumber. "One kid close-by was saying like, 'ah yum I love nuggets, I had McDonald's the other day,' but the mum was like, 'you aren't getting McDonald's today, you are at a sports carnival, you are not supposed to be eating that'. "Dude, yes I admit it is a lazy lunch and I could probably have done better but you know what, I don't need you to tell me I am doing a s*** job." MAFS star Sacha shows off new nose after surgery She then said: "So to all the mums out there who feel like what your doing isn't enough, you do you. "Stop judging each others parenting, no one knows your child or your situation. "Do what makes your family happy." The former healthcare assistant shot to fame on the 6th season of the Aussie show that was filmed back in 2018. She became a mother to her baby boy Boston on February 9 2020. His father is Love Island Australia star Eden who she met at a party in March 2019. On MAFS, she was married to Nic Jovanović. After an explosive relationship, the pair called it quits before filming wrapped after a series of arguments. Things then got messy back in March 2019 when Cyrell said on Instagram that dating Nic was a 'huge' mistake. Commenting on Nic's height, the fan wrote: 'He looks huge', to which Cyrell replied: 'Yeah he is huge... a huge mistake.' She also accused her ex of flirting with MAFS co-star Jessika Power throughout filming, but he denied this. 4 4

She has sole custody of Kaden after a court battle with Teen Mom alum David in 2019. David, who recently finalized his divorce from Jenelle Evans, is not the father of Lailah. Though she was once active on social media, Olivia has not spoken out since the horrific tragedy of losing Lailah. According to an obituary, Lailah will be mourned at a funeral service on June 14 in North Carolina. "Lailah's light touched everyone," the obituary reads. "Her kindness, encouragement, and joyful heart were gifts she freely gave. "She reminded us all what it means to love, to cherish, and to be present with one another." SECOND HORRIBLE TRAGEDY Olivia's horrific loss comes after another tragedy in the Teen Mom world. 16 & Pregnant star Whitney Purvis' son Weston Gosa died at just 16 years old earlier this month. "Life is so cruel and unfair. I just don't understand," wrote Whitney, who appeared on the show in 2009. "My baby is gone and I don't know what to do with myself." Weston's stepmother Amy Gosa exclusively told The U.S. Sun that the teen suffered from many serious health issues, including type 1 diabetes, Addison's disease and Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. "He had several health issues, so we're thinking it was an underlying issue we didn't know about," Amy said, shutting down rumors Weston died from a drug overdose. "It's very hurtful seeing all the comments saying he died from fentanyl." 7 Whitney is mourning the loss of her teen son Weston Credit: Facebook
