To further engage youngsters and people from various sections, different programmes are being added, and an annual calendar is being prepared.
An internship facility has also been started at the Bapu Tower.
The tower has two structures—a G+6 rectangular building and another inverted cone-shaped building with ramps—showcasing the life of Mahatma Gandhi through 3-D displays. Five floors of this building are entirely dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi's ideals, struggles, and life events. Scenes like the Champaran Satyagraha, the incident of being thrown off a train in South Africa, and key moments of the freedom struggle are shown through audio-visual media.
Every corner of it narrates Bapu's story.
According to the official data, a total of 52,261 people visited the place in a five-month span. Figures show in June alone, 14,610 tourists visited the tower.
Building department secretary, Kumar Ravi, said while this museum is based on Mahatma Gandhi's life, its unique silicon mannequins give it a real look. A 3-D theatre, an art gallery and many more things will be added to it, he added.

"Several mannequins and statues will be replaced by the silicon ones. On the second floor, more artwork will be added to the existing art gallery that has adequate space. We have also started an internship where interested students, be it of history, art, or artificial intelligence, can come and explore the place," said Ravi.
He further said they have also prepared a calendar under which the auditorium can be utilised for various educational and cultural activities.
Director of Bapu Tower, B Vinay Kumar, said they have already held several cultural programmes in collaboration with well-known organisations and will continue to hold more such events.
Giving details about the visiting hours, Vinay said people can visit the tower from 11am to 4pm. The entry charge for adults is Rs 50, while Rs 10 is for those between five to 11 years.
However, students coming in groups from educational institutes or those with their ID card are not charged for the entrance ticket. Similarly, for senior citizens and specially-abled people, the entry is free. Even those coming in groups of 25 or more from any organisation, be it private or govt, are allowed free entry.
