Ransaw has the tools to play as a pro, but scheme fit could decide his ceiling and productivity."

While McLaurin's absence at minicamp recently was notable and seemingly part of plan to make a push for a new deal, he was required to attend. When they picked up Russell Wilson after his Denver Broncos tenure, there was an assumption that the Steelers could be a team to help the veteran get back on track. A young Pickens was there to help. However, the Steelers couldn't find stability at the quarterback position. Wilson and Justin Fields were both under center at a point, giving Pickens another season with a lack of stability at the quarterback position. Over the past two seasons, Pickens has dealt with five different passers. Once Pickens got to Dallas, there was no question about who was going to be under center. Dak Prescott is the guy. There's no guarantee the duo will work out, especially since Pickens doesn't jump CeeDee Lamb for the top spot on the depth chart, but the odds of the two parties helping each other are high, hence why the duo ranked second on the list, in front of the Washington Commanders' Deebo-Daniels duo. And by signing with the Steelers after playing 18 seasons with the Packers, Rodgers is joining a fairly rare group of players who have played for both teams. Here are some notable players to play for both the Packers and Steelers: OLB Preston Smith: The Packers dealt Smith to the Steelers for a seventh-round pick (turned into CB Micah Robinson) before the trade deadline in 2024. Smith played in 91 games for the Packers but just eight in Pittsburgh, and the Steelers released him after the season. DL Dean Lowry: A draft pick of the Packers who played 111 games in Green Bay between 2016 and 2022, Lowry spent the 2024 season in Pittsburgh and remains on the Steelers offseason roster.
