Bergvall has more than lived up to the promise he showed in pre-season. Not only has he excelled on and off the ball, he has never stopped striving for the win. When more seasoned professionals around him have struggled to lead the team, this young player has risen to the challenge.
Dejan Kulusevski
Deki had a particularly strong start to the campaign and is integral to our pressing style and ball retention. Don't let his time out with injury shorten your memory - the Swede's statistics speak volumes as to his dominance in a Spurs shirt this season.
Djed Spence
A breath of fresh air and a much-needed injection of hope, Spence's performances this season have demonstrated what it means to play without fear. He has been a joy to watch as he took on the opposition with courage and creativity, driving us up the pitch at home and in Europe.
Dominic Solanke
The engine of our team, Solanke simply never gives up. Even when heads behind him in midfield have dropped, he has kept running, kept pressing, kept trying. Some will criticise the number of goals scored, but no-one should underestimate the crucial work Solanke has done off the ball for us this season.
Honourable mentions
Brennan Johnson still receives a mixed reception from some of the Spurs faithful, but you can't argue with his impressive goal contributions this season – not only the number, but the significance of some of the goals too. As for Archie Gray, what an outstanding first season from him - and in an unfamiliar position. Thrown in at the deep end, at times he outperformed his more experienced peers. To dare is to do, indeed.

To make matters worse, it was to Tottenham that they faltered - a side who have perennially been known not to win trophies. The embarrassment is night for Amorim. He's been exposed and he's looked out of sorts as United. The Telegraph has even suggested, he would be open to leaving the club already and jumping ship. Advertisement Liverpool fans will be grateful that in the end Hughes opted to pursue Slot and not Amorim. Given everything we have seen it was a genius masterstroke from the Liverpool sporting director. The whole recruitment team had done their due diligence on both managers. And it paid off, Slot not only has the tactical know-how to become a Premier League champion, he's shown this season he's got the demeanour to deal with the media and with big characters in the dressing room. He was simply the best man for the job and credit to Hughes who spotted this early on and who was not afraid to go against the grain, when everyone was screaming Amorim.

"I expect that a KD deal would happen right before the draft because you want to include draft capital in the deal," Gambadoro said. "So a KD trade would come up this month, sometime before the draft, probably close to the draft if it's gonna happen.' Durant, 36, has one year left on his contract. Maja Stark still waiting for major win to make her 'start crying and sleeping a lot'
It hasn't sunk in yet for Maja Stark. Just a few short days removed from her life-changing victory at the 80th U.S. Women's Open, the 25-year-old reports that life still feels 'pretty normal,' but with more work. Advertisement 'So I'm just still waiting,' said Stark ahead of her debut in the ShopRite LPGA Classic. 'Obviously we've had a lot of fun and got to celebrate a little bit, but I'm still waiting for it to settle in, waiting for it to just make me crash and just, yeah, start crying and sleeping a lot. 'But I haven't been able to sleep really.' Stark, only the third Swede to win the title, said the celebrations didn't start in earnest until after she left Erin Hills, where she never made more than a bogey over the course of 72 grueling holes to win by two. 'Had the bottle the champagne in my room and I said to one of my friends, I've got one champagne bottle and two glasses. You want to come in and start celebrating?' said the affable Swede.
