Best-dressed celebrities in Britain are revealed by high society magazine Tatler... but do YOU agree with the rankings?

Daily Mail5 days ago
There may be two princesses – well, sort of – in the rankings but even they seem to be struggling to fit the bill.
Tatler has come up with a 'best-dressed list' and the results are, to be kind, a touch questionable.
The real princess, Alexia of the Netherlands was placed fifth, despite her wearing a plain green frock from Zara. Alexia, 20, is the second in line to the Dutch throne.
The faux 'princess' is the only daughter of glamour model and I'm a Celebrity winner Katie Price, 18-year-old Princess Andre.
She has landed herself an unlikely second place. Hailed 'the face of a new generation of British pop culture royalty', the teenager is now starring in her own ITV reality show.
Placed first were high-society half sisters, Lady Lola Bute and Jazzy de Lisser, whose mother Serena Bute runs a fashion label and so, like good nepo babies, the pair have started their own.

With a contact book bursting full of industry heavyweights such as Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne, the success of their fashion venture seems inevitable.
Queen of Pop Madonna and director Guy Ritchie's 24-year-old son, Rocco, comes third wearing a simple black tailored suit.
Elsewhere on the best dressed rankings was the Swarovski heiress, Nadja Swarovski, who runs the British country label Really Wild Clothing, a favourite of the Princess of Wales.
Continuing the royal theme, Zara Tindall, granddaughter of the late Queen, came seventh because, says the society bible, her 'wardrobe hits have been nothing short of spectacular'.
She was, memorably, pictured at Ascot this year in a £917 Camille dress from the London-based designer, Laura Green.
Though very much a royal, she doesn't qualify as a third princess on the list because HRH titles are limited to the children of the sovereign, the children of sons of the sovereign and, finally, the eldest son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales.
Coming in at number six on the Tatler list was Bromley footballer Omar Sowunmi for having his own T-shirt line, Two Islands, which sells simple graphic tees for £60.
In eighth spot was 'Triple Barrelled Suave', George Packe-Drury-Lowe, a little-known member of the aristocracy who appears because he once convinced Turnbull and Asser to recreate a near-forgotten turtleneck favoured by Lord Snowdon.

Strictly Come Dancing star and Wimbledon veteran, Annabel Croft, 59, made ninth place for 'always a glam slam when it comes to event dressing' and, finally, in tenth place, was Zack Pinsent.
The 31-year-old is the only entry on the list to be a qualified tailor and wears exclusively Regency-era dress.
The Mail previously revealed Mr Pinsent was at the centre of a scamming scandal earlier this year after customers claimed he owed them thousands of pounds in undelivered orders such as a £350 pair of pantaloons and a Regency-style Covid mask. Disgruntled clients include an American theatre producer and his husband who claim they paid an £8,000 deposit for outfits for a fancy-dress event in Venice.
Mr Pinsent said: 'I have never stolen money nor materials from any client. If I have ever had to discontinue working with a client, they have received a refund in compliance with their contract.'

Mark Labbett feared he would 'die a bachelor' before finding fame on The Chase and then marrying his second cousin Katie

Mark Labbett feared he would 'die a bachelor' because women were not interested in him before he found fame on The Chase. The 59-year-old TV personality was a single man 'for over 20 years' before he joined the ITV quiz show as The Beast in 2009, and then he went on to be in a several serious relationships. This included his second cousin Katie Labbett, 32, who he met on Facebook in 2010, began to date in 2012 and then married in 2014. They welcomed their seven-year-old son Lawrence in 2018, but Katie and Mark split in 2020. Following The Beast's separation from Katie, Mark dated TV presenter Hayley Palmer, 44, in 2023. However, in May 2024, he dumped Hayley days after their first dating anniversary in a 'three-minute' phone call. Now, Mark is taking part in the E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating. He hopes to find his perfect match, with the help of the programme's dating agents, Paul Carrick Brunson, 50, Anna Williamson, 44, and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, 36. Mark exclusively told BANG Showbiz at the Celebs Go Dating launch party event at The Broadcaster gastropub in White City, West London, on July 24: 'It's getting to the point now with the joy of social media, a photo of me with a woman suddenly it's a new date. 'With this girl, I said, 'Sorry about this, I did warn you if you put up that photo.' 'And I tend to think, 'Where was all this speculation 20, 25 years ago?' 'I was a single man for over 20 years. I genuinely thought at one point before The Chase came along, 'Am I going to die a bachelor?' 'Suddenly, I'm in a relationship, which is why this has been good because you listen to experts, so finding out advice from them.' In 2020, Katie - who had been dating senior design engineer Scott Bate for 18 months at the time - and Mark split because their attempts at an open marriage failed. The Beast also blamed other factors, including their 27-year age gap, the Covid-19 lockdown and his own mental health, for their eventual split. In 2024, Hayley and Mark separated - with Hayley claiming at the time he dumped her because he 'didn't want to divorce his ex-wife', but Mark later told The Sun newspaper their separation was because he 'got old'. However, Mark - who had a 15-year age gap with Hayley - insisted to BANG Showbiz he does not have a 'bad word' to say about Katie or Hayley. Asked if he thinks it is now better to share a similar age with someone, as opposed to having a big age gap like he did with Katie and Hayley, Mark said: 'What I would say is age is really important to some people and completely unimportant to others. 'And, ultimately, I think it's down to the individual relationship. 'I've dated women who are older than me, and I've got no problems with it.' Celebs Go Dating 2025 starts on Monday, August 11, at 9pm on E4.

Family of dad who plunged to death at Oasis gig pay heartbreaking tribute to ‘lifelong fan' who ‘loved his kids'

THE father of a man who tragically died at an Oasis concert has paid tribute to the "lifelong fan" who "loved him kids". Lee Claydon, 45, is understood to have fallen from the upper tier balcony at the Wembley Stadium concert on Sunday. 3 3 Heartbroken father Clive Claydon, 75, told how his son had been 'super excited' about the gig, for which he bought tickets a year ago. 'He was a lifelong Oasis fan and he was so looking forward to going. Out of all the thousands of people there why's it got to be my son?" He said holding back tears. Speaking at his Bournemouth home, close to where Lee lived his partner and son Harry, Clive said he went to the concert with his brother Aaron and his niece and nephew. He remembered his son as a 'lovely, lovely bloke' who 'no one could say a bad thing about ever." He said: 'He was a hard worker, has been all his life. He loved his kids, he looked after them and his girlfriend. 'He is a real family man; they were supposed to be going on a big family holiday all together in two weeks' time.' 'I don't know how his girlfriend is going to cope; she is really going to struggle without him.' Clive last saw Lee last week and said his son had been talking about the Oasis concert for months. He said: 'I spoke to him at the weekend, and he was talking about it then. I just can't believe it I've had to go to the doctors for tablets today because I am so devastated.' Clive said he had been angered by online comments suggesting Lee may have taken his own life. He said: 'It's disgusting, he did not commit suicide. He had everything to live for. It was nothing to do with drugs, or being drunk either. 'He has never taken drugs in his life and he may have had a beer, who doesn't at a concert, but he certainly was not drunk. 'It was just a pure accident, a horrible accident.' He said the family were now rallying around Lee's partner and children saying: 'We are just doing what we can.
