Here's the full slate of PFT staff Super Bowl picks

NBC Sports09-02-2025

Earlier this week, Simms and I made our official Super Bowl LIX picks. (We disagree.)
But what about the rest of the PFT operation? Many have asked what the writers think.
So I inquired. And here are there predicted scores for the big game.
MDS: Eagles 24, Chiefs 20.
Charean Williams: Eagles 28, Chiefs 20.
Josh Alper: Chiefs 30, Eagles 28.
Myles Simmons: Chiefs 27, Eagles 24.
Me: Chiefs 27, Eagles 24.
So that's three Three-Peats and two no Three-Peats. In about three hours, it'll all get started.

Jalen Hurts Gets Huge News Monday Evening

Jalen Hurts Gets Huge News Monday Evening originally appeared on Athlon Sports. While Kendrick Lamar dominated much of the spotlight with five wins, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts also scored a major win at Sunday's BET Awards, taking home the Sportsman of the Year honor for the second time. Advertisement Hurts began the season under a cloud of doubt, facing questions about his own performance and the Eagles' offense. But he silenced his doubters with a phenomenal campaign, leading the Eagles to their second Super Bowl crown and securing the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award. Hurts completed 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' dominant 40-22 victory. His first touchdown built a 24-0 halftime cushion, and his second cemented a 34-0 advantage. The Chiefs mustered 22 late points, but Hurts and the Eagles' early explosion had already sealed the victory. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts© Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images Hurts drew criticism for his 'lackluster' passing game throughout the year, but he stepped up when it mattered the most and stole the show at the grandest stage of American football. Advertisement The Houston-native is the first Eagles quarterback with multiple Super Bowl appearances and the fourth Black quarterback to win the Super Bowl. Hurts is also part of an elite group of only four starting quarterbacks, including Ken Stabler, Joe Namath, and Joe Montana, to secure both a Super Bowl and an NCAA National Championship. Before the Super Bowl masterclass, Hurts orchestrated a 55-23 rout of the Commanders in the NFC Championship game. He registered four touchdowns without any turnover to punch the Eagles' ticket to Super Bowl LIX. Sights and sounds from Eagles mandatory minicamp Philadelphia is holding their mandatory minicamp on Tuesday and we're looking at sights and sounds from the final off-season practice session Devonta Smith and AJ Brown warming up for practice — Eliot Shorr-Parks (@EliotShorrParks) June 10, 2025 After weeks of off-season training and on-field preparation, the Philadelphia Eagles are holding their mandatory minicamp practice on Tuesday before taking a five-week break until training camp. The mandatory minicamp is part of Phase 3 of the NFL offseason. During mandatory minicamp, teams can participate in 7 on 7, 9 on 7, and 11 on 11 drills, provided no live contact takes place. Like in OTAs, players cannot wear pads except protective knee and elbow pads, though helmets are permitted. With Tuesday's session underway, we're looking at the sights and sounds from the NovaCare Complex one final time before training camp in July. Eagles star A.J. Brown offers an open invitation to QBs in Philadelphia and New Jersey

Eagles star A.J. Brown offers an open invitation to QBs in Philadelphia and New Jersey Eagles All-Pro quarterback took to social media to offer an open invitation to local quarterbacks from Jersey and Philly for throwing sessions Call this premature. Call it a theory expressed in error, but don't be surprised if others agree. A.J. Brown is already a Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Famer, but his next few seasons in the City of Brotherly Love could determine whether or not we're discussing more. Canton isn't out of the question. He may not be a shoo-in yet, but we might be when his playing days are over. His resume already consisted of his addition to the Pro Football Writers Association's All-Rookie Team in 2019. He landed on a Pro Bowl roster with the Tennessee Titans in 2020, but once he arrived in Philly, things reached supernova. Brown has gone from being seen as a very good player to being one of the best in the game at his position. He and DeVonta Smith make up the game's best one-two punch at wide receiver, and yes, the guys in Cincinnati and Miami were considered when making that declaration. Since his trade to Philadelphia in 2022, Brown has landed on two more Pro Bowl rosters (2022, 2023). He was snubbed last season, but that's okay. He can bask in the glow of a Second-Team All-Pro nod, his third. He's won that honor during each of the past three seasons. Brown is a Super Bowl champion, and when his time is up, who knows what he may have accomplished? The best part is that he has never lost his humility. That was most recently evidenced by a recent invitation he offered on social media. A.J. Brown is looking for a quarterback in the Philly and New Jersey area to work out with him this summer. Don't restart your cellular devices or your tablets. There's no need to check the resolution or the speed of your laptop. Your internet isn't lagging. This isn't a drill. A.J. Brown is looking for a quarterback from Philadelphia or New Jersey to work out with him during the summer. He offered an open invitation through his Instagram account. Fingers are crossed that the local news outlets and radio stations don't twist this and try to present it as some issue he has with his teammates. Let's hope the more appropriate angle is focused on instead. This is a recent Super Bowl winner who has already expressed that his desire to compete outweighs his achievements. That's why this city and fan base love A.J. and why it may not be inappropriate to believe that his bust may be carved one day and placed in the hallowed ground better known as the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Ohio.
