Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher finalize divorce
NEW YORK — Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have finalized their divorce, more than a year after announcing their shocking separation. The 'Borat' comedian, 53, and 49-year-old 'Wedding Crashers' star confirmed the news on Friday in a joint statement shared to their Instagram stories. 'Our divorce has now been finalized,' Cohen and Fisher begin. 'We are proud of all we've achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children. We ask for the media to continue to respect our children's privacy.' The actors similarly announced their split via Instagram Stories in April 2024, sharing a snap of themselves in tennis wear. 'After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023, we jointly filed to end our marriage,' the couple confirmed, adding they'd been 'quietly working through' the split. Cohen and Fisher first met in 2001 in Sydney, Australia, and got engaged three years later. They gave birth to their first child, daughter Olive, in late 2007 and tied the knot in Paris in March 2010. They welcomed their second daughter, Elula, later that summer. They also share son Montgomery, born in early 2015. The news of their separation broke in the wake of Rebel Wilson's memoir, 'Rebel Rising,' in which the actress claimed Cohen pressured her into performing inappropriate acts on the set of the 2016 film 'The Brothers Grimsby' and even pulled his pants down in her presence. Wilson then accused Cohen — who denies the claims — of 'bullying and gaslighting' when the Daily Mail quickly published previously unreleased footage from the apparent sex scene in question. Amid a defamation lawsuit filed by producers, the 'Pitch Perfect' star she refused to 'be bullied or silenced by high-priced lawyers or PR crisis managers.'

NYT ‘Connections' Hints And Answers For Sunday, June 15th
Looking for Saturday's NYT Connections hints, clues and answers instead? You can find them here: Lazy Sunday is here and frankly I might have to just relent today and actually be lazy for once. After all, it's also Father's Day. As a dad, I get to do whatever I want on Father's Day. I can stay in bed all morning. I don't have to clean or take care of plants or pets. I can make others do the cooking and chores for me. I get to pick the movie we watch or the games we play. I am the king of my domain! But first, before we get to all that, we have some Connections to make. Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there who, like me, will actually probably do quite a bit on their special day. Connections is the second-most popular NYT Games puzzle game outside of the main crossword itself, and an extremely fun, free offering that will get your brain moving every day. Play it right here. The goal is to take a group of 16 words and find links between four pairs of four of them. They could be specific categories of terms, or they could be little world puzzles where words may come before or after them you need to figure out. And they get more complicated from there. There is only one set of right answers for this, and you only get a certain number of tries so you can't just spam around until you find something. There are difficulty tiers coded by color, which will usually go from yellow, blue/green to purple as difficulty increases, so know that going in and when you start linking them together. You pick the four words you think are linked and either you will get a solve and a lit up row that shows you how you were connected. If you're close, it will tell you that you're one away. Again, four mistakes you lose, but if you want to know the answers without failing, either come here, or delete your web cookies and try again. If you want to play more puzzles, you can get an NYT Games subscription to access the full archives of all past puzzles. These are the hints that are laid out on the puzzle board itself, but after that, we will get into spoiler territory with some hints and eventually the answers. The Connections answers are: Today's Connections Screenshot: Erik Kain I screwed up on one guess today, which I think is the first time since I've been handling the Sunday Connections Guide that I've done that. I'm just that good (or that lucky). I guessed LANGUAGE / NUDITY / SMOKING / CURSES, which frankly is as good as ACTION for a Connection if you ask me. In fact, CURSES or swear words are one of the main considerations for how a movie is rated. Call it a headfake or a cheap shot, but I replaced that with ACTION and it worked. I wasn't sure what the purple words were but it made sense once I got them. A bubble bursts or pops, you can call your dad 'pop' (happy Father's Day!) and some people call SODA pop (weirdos) and of course, pop-culture is just POPULAR culture. I sort of wish CONNECTIONS would give us more than 16 words, with a couple of options that don't fit at all, which would make getting that last row a bit harder. Maybe that's masochistic of me. Rory McIlroy says he ‘didn't really care' about making US Open cut at Oakmont
Rory McIlroy admitted he was in two minds over whether or not he wanted to make the US Open cut, in the latest nod to the Northern Irishman's psychological struggles since winning the Masters in April. McIlroy birdied two of his last four holes on Friday evening to survive for the closing 36 holes at Oakmont. Until that point, he was heading for an early exit. McIlroy returned to the course to post 74 on Saturday, leaving him 10 over for the week, before addressing the media for the first time since Tuesday. McIlroy's body language suggested he would rather he elsewhere. Advertisement 'It's much easier being on the cut line when you don't really care if you're here for the weekend or not,' said McIlroy in only half-joking tone. 'I was sort of thinking, do I really want two more days here or not? So it makes it easier to play better when you're in that mindset. You don't know how you're going to react to such a, I wouldn't say a life-altering occasion, but at least something that I've dreamed about for a long time. I have felt a little flat on the golf course afterwards.' McIlroy called his overall US Open performance 'pretty average' before being similarly blunt on his aspirations for day four. 'Hopefully a round in under four and a half hours and get out of here,' he said. Advertisement McIlroy's relationship with sections of the media has felt frosty since last month's US PGA Championship. There, news broke that his driver had failed a standard test for a non-conforming face. No other player was named in the initial report, despite the fact that eventual champion Scottie Scheffler encountered the same issue. McIlroy had avoided post-round press conferences for six major days in a row before Saturday. At Oakmont he referenced 'frustration' with the press. 'That was a part of it,' said McIlroy of whether driver-gate had prompted him to step back from media duties. 'At Augusta I skipped you guys on Thursday so it's not out of the ordinary. I've done it before, I'm just doing it a little more often. I feel like I've earned the right to do whatever I want to do.'
