The 54-year-old actor will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and he learned the exciting news while on set of The Pitt season 2, surrounded by castmates and crewmembers from the show, who were all eager to celebrate him, per a video shared by Warner Bros. on X.

A list of his many career accomplishments was read, highlighting his work in "iconic films" including A Few Good Men and Donny Darko, as well as his "amazing television career."

"You may know him by some of his alter egos: [Falling Skies'] Tom Mason, [The Librarians'] Flynn Carsen and [ER's] John Carter, and now Dr. Michael Rabinovitch. So it is a great pleasure for me to announce that our own Noah Wyle is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame."
The actor had his hands over his face in shock and excitement after the announcement.
"We got babies on the clock, we gotta wrap this up fast," he joked as he was handed a microphone to address the gathered crowd.
"I am so embarrassed!" he admitted, referring to the fanfare about the announcement. In reality, though, he said he is "so, so, so thrilled."
Wyle then reflected on how the milestone achievement circles back to his childhood as an L.A. native.
"I did grow up in Hollywood," he said. "I used to walk home every day down Hollywood Blvd from Gardner Street Elementary School and I would put my foot over the 'Beery' in Noah Beery Junior's name on his star and think, 'Oh, maybe one day.' And I guess that day has come."
He also admitted he was "so thrilled" that it was The Pitt that earned him the honor. "Onward!" he said as the clip, shared by Warner Bros. on X, ended.
"You have to almost have it be a non-factor and create the same sense of privacy and same sense of hermetic sealed off, insulated sense of company that we built the first year," he said during a panel for the show at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, Calif. "I think if we're successful in that regard, then the storytelling will just roll out."
Season 1, he admitted, was "lightning in a bottle," which is "something you can't plan for, you can only pray for."
"And I think with this collective group, we could make it happen again, overjoyed that we get to," he said.

Jay Baruchel drops out of 'Reacher' season 4, role recast with 'Barry' alum Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette

There's been a major behind-the-scenes shakeup on Reacher. Entertainment Weekly can confirm that Jay Baruchel dropped out of the upcoming season 4, and Barry alum Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette has been recast in the role. The news comes only two weeks after the This Is the End star's casting was announced along with the rest of the new season 4 roles (the only confirmed returning actor is series lead Alan Ritchson). According to Deadline, Baruchel was "forced to exit the series to attend to a personal matter." Rodriguez-Marquette will now play the major role of Jacob Merrick, a small-town policeman ripped directly from the pages of Lee Child's 13th book in his Jack Reacher series, Gone Tomorrow, upon which the new season is based. Jacob becomes Jack Reacher's (Ritchson) No. 1 ally in his new mission. Gone Tomorrow kicks off when Reacher witnesses a suicide on the subway in New York. He soon discovers the woman who killed herself was Pentagon staffer Susan Mark, who was caught up in a larger conspiracy involving a corrupt politician, Al Qaeda terrorists, and countless murders. Reacher must work against the clock with Susan's brother Jacob to solve the mystery of why Susan killed herself, find her missing son Peter, and ultimately save his own life when he gets caught up with dark forces with almost unlimited power. Rodriguez-Marquette joins the previously announced season 4 cast additions including GLOW alum Sydelle Noel, My Life With the Walter Boys star Marc Blucas, Alias alum Kevin Weisman, Indonesian singers Agnez Mo and Anggun, The Expanse alum Kathleen Robertson, and Poker Face's Kevin known for his recurring role on HBO's Barry, Rodriguez-Marquette's other TV appearances include Mozart in the Jungle, Joan of Arcadia, Even Stevens, Weeds, Lucifer, and Beverly Hills, 90210, among others. He has also been in films including I Hate the Man in My Basement, Chokeslam, Broken Horses, and Fear, Inc. A premiere date for Reacher season 4 has not yet been announced.
