Justin Baldoni Responds to Isabela Ferrer's Bullying Claim

Justin Baldoni is rebuking Isabela Ferrer's claims.
After the It Ends With Us actress accused the director of "harassing" her and drawing "her deeper into litigation and disputes that she has done her best to avoid," following his attempts to subpoena Ferrer, Baldoni's team slammed the Aug. 17 filing.
"We write in response to Isabela Ferrer's opposition to the Wayfarer Parties' motion to serve her by alternative means," Baldoni's counsel wrote in the Aug. 18 letter to Judge Lewis J. Liman obtained by E! News. "The opposition is primarily an inappropriate attack upon Mr. Baldoni and his counsel … and irrelevant to whether Ms. Ferrer should be served via alternative means."
The filing alleged that Ferrer—who played the younger version of Blake Lively's character Lily Bloom in the Colleen Hoover adaptation—had her attorney Sanford Michelman accept "service of the Subpoena" on her behalf when Lively had issued one in February 2025 amid her and Baldoni's ongoing legal battle.

"In July 2025, the Wayfarer Parties subpoenaed Ms. Ferrer for documents she either neglected to produce or were not requested by Ms. Lively's subpoena," the letter explained. "The Wayfarer Parties twice requested that Mr. Michelman accept service of their Subpoena."
"Mr. Michelman ignored the Wayfarer Parties' requests," it continued. "Instead, Mr. Michelman prepared and filed a robust 'opposition' to the motion for alternative service … without explaining why he refused to accept service of the Wayfarer Parties' Subpoena or why his client is so reticent to testify."
Baldoni's attorneys alleged that Ferrer's counsel told them that they should have reached out to her talent agent. Although the letter argued, "Naturally, we deemed Ms. Ferrer's counsel (and not her talent agent) as the appropriate person with whom to communicate concerning the Subpoena."
After his team emphasized that it was Lively's team who "first subpoenaed" the 24-year-old, they argued that the Gossip Girl alum "should not be permitted to obtain discovery from Ms. Ferrer, while Ms. Ferrer and her counsel frustrate all effort by the Wayfarer Parties to obtain the discovery critical to the preparation of their defense."
Baldoni's attorneys requested that "given the circumstances," they are "willing to stipulate that none of the parties will use any communication to, from or concerning Ms. Ferrer, or any testimony from her, in any manner."
E! News has reached out to reps for Lively and Ferrer for comment and has not yet heard back.
In Ferrer's opposition to being served by alternative service, which E! News obtained, her attorney accused Baldoni—whom Lively is suing for sexual harassment—and his associates of acting "inappropriately" towards her after she received her subpoena from Lively.
Her counsel argued that Baldoni's Aug. 12 motion should be denied because it was brought "without conducting the diligence necessary to support a motion for leave to serve a discovery subpoena on Ms. Ferrer by means other than personal service."
The filing alleged that Baldoni's team did not make efforts to "determine Ms. Ferrer's actual residential or business address."
Ferrer's counsel stated that after Ferrer reached out to Baldoni's Wayfarer Studios production company to have her legal fees covered per her film contract, she was asked by the company to "relinquish control of her response to the Lively subpoena to Wayfarer before being granted compensation."
"From that point forward, Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Ms. Ferrer," her lawyers alleged in court documents, accusing Baldoni of harassing her after she refused to agree with his team's terms.

Tell Me Lies ' Grace Van Patten Teases What to Expect From Season 3

Originally appeared on E! Online Grace Van Patten isn't telling any lies when it comes to Tell Me Lies. As the Hulu series continues production for season three following an extremely shocking sophomore season finale last October, the star teased what fans can expect from the upcoming episodes. 'It's gonna be crazy,' Grace, who plays Lucy, told E! News at the premiere of The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox Aug. 19. 'It feels like the peak of all these young peoples' worst decisions.' For fans of the series, it may seem impossible that things could get any worse after Jackson White's Stephen—whose eight-year on-again, off-again relationship with Lucy is the impetus of the plot—sends Bree (Catherine Missal) quite an incriminating audio file on the day of her wedding, wreaking havoc between her, her bridesmaid Lucy and groom Evan (Branden Cook). But while the couple are living out a nightmare romance on screen, Grace emphasized to E! News that Jackson—who she's dating in real life—has been nothing but 'a dream.' In fact, he was right by her side at the premiere of the Twisted Tale, in which she portrays Amanda Knox, who was wrongfully convicted of murder in Italy in 2009. More from E! 'I'm so thankful that I was able to be a part of the opportunity for Amanda to reclaim her story. I've never felt so fulfilled after a job.' (For more from Grace tune in to E! News tonight, Aug. 20, at 11 p.m.) Indeed, it was a huge learning experience to portray Amanda, who spent four years in prison before her release in 2011. 'I'm amazed by her ability to trust and to forgive,' Grace continued. 'I was very inspired by that mindset.' And since Amanda herself was an executive producer on the project, it made it all the more special for Grace. 'It feels like such a huge collaboration,' the 28-year-old added, 'and such a huge amount of trust that I've never experienced before. This felt very special.' For Amanda, the feeling was mutual. 'She really truly captured what it was like for me to be going through this, all of the emotions,' the 38-year-old shared of Grace. 'I'm so proud of her.' Inside Selena Gomez's Adorable Relationship With Her Little Sister, Gracie Elliot Teefey

THE RUNDOWN Selena Gomez was the only child of Mandy Teefey and her father Ricardo Gomez. The former couple had Gomez fairly young, and it was a long time before she had a sibling. Her younger sister, Gracie Elliot Teefey, was born in June 2013 to Mandy and her second husband, Brian Teefey. Despite their age gap, Gomez and 12-year-old Gracie are quite close. In 2017, Gomez shared a home movie with Gracie, writing in the caption, 'I will forever let my sister know she is strong, bold, and beautiful. She will be raised to know her voice matters. She is going to understand the importance behind being a leader and inspire others by her truth.' For Gracie's 12th birthday, Gomez wrote in June 2025, 'Happy birthday to my baby sissy. As I cry writing this, my heart melts because I know you know I'm always on your side. No matter what. I love you baby girl 💕' Here's what to know about Gracie and her adorable relationship with the Only Murders in the Building star. Just after Gracie's 2013 birth, Gomez told E!, 'She's adorable. I'm obsessed with her and becoming a big sister. I know I've had the responsibility to be a role model for girls but when you have a little sister of your own, you kinda think, 'Okay, this is legit.'' She later said, 'I keep her very very protected. I mean, it's instinctual.' In 2014, she shared a picture of Gracie as an infant sitting by her at the piano, calling her 'the future.' She often shared pics of Gracie as a baby, calling her 'sissy.' Gracie made the perfect date to the Frozen 2 premiere in 2019, being a part of the target audience. In an interview with BBC One, Gomez shared that she coached her then 6-year-old sister on what to do if she didn't feel comfortable on the red carpet. 'If you get nervous, if you get overwhelmed, just pull my hand and I'll take you off immediately,' she said. 'I said to her, 'This is my favorite red carpet I have ever done.' Because she's never done any of that, and we didn't force her to do that. Everything we do…to keep her safe, but my sister's become very dramatic now. She's all about the dresses and the glitter.' Gracie did so well that she was Gomez's date to the 2022 Golden Globes. Gomez often shares pics of Gracie on Instagram in which she's clearly an active part of the pop star's life and hanging out with her friends, like in this carousel of images from her time in Paris. In July 2024, she shared some throwback photos of them together, captioning it, 'There's nothing like a little sister and the bond you have. I will forever protect you, help guide you and love you through every single moment in life baby girl.' In March 2024, they shared a 'sissy date night.' And in 2023, she called Gracie her 'little me.' Gomez gave fans another look at her life with Gracie in an August 2025 Instagram. They cuddled up over dinner together: Gomez posted an Instagram Story in June 2025, revealing her longtime friend Taylor Swift and Gracie are very close. She captioned the clip of Gracie watching a Swift music video, 'When she loves Auntie Taylor more than me.' In August 2022, Gomez spoke on the Giving Back Generation about how Gracie is her rainbow, along with her family. 'She's eight years old, and she puts things in perspective,' Gomez said. 'I have to basically watch this little person grow into a human being and there's no better feeling in the world. I kind of feel like I'm a parent in a way even though I'm not. It's so rewarding to see that life was so simple at one point, and I want to enjoy life sometimes the way she enjoys life.'
