SGH launches new app that screens for pre-dementia with up to 93% accuracy

A new application that detects signs of pre-dementia in seniors with up to 93 per cent accuracy could be rolled out nationwide next year. Developed by the Singapore General Hospital and GovTech, it will cut down screening for pre-dementia from around two hours to mere minutes. This comes amid high rates of under-diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment. In Singapore, one in 11 seniors above 60 has dementia. Sabrina Ng reports.
