Xiaomi 15T Pro name and model number confirmed as it's spotted on Geekbench

Last year, Xiaomi unveiled the 14T and 14T Pro in late September, and the brand is now busy working on their successors. Thanks to a recent certification by NBTC in Thailand, we now know that the Xiaomi 15T Pro has the model number 2506BPN68G, where the "G" at the end stands for "global". Hence, it will probably launch in all the markets where the previous T-series devices have been available. The model number also gives us the 15T Pro's Geekbench run from a few days ago, now confirming that it is indeed this device. It managed a single-core score of 1,057 and a multi-core score of 4,009 in Geekbench 6.4.0 for Android, and as we usually say - don't pay much attention to such scores achieved by testing prototypes. The phone has been revealed to sport a MediaTek chipset, which aligns nicely with past rumors claiming it would be based on the Redmi K80 Ultra that launched in China in June with the Dimensity 9400+ at the helm. Do however keep in mind that the T series devices have rarely been direct rebrands recently, so while the 15T Pro is based on the K80 Ultra, there will be differences, most likely in the camera department. The battery could be in for a change too, the 15T Pro rumored to swap the K80 Ultra's 7,410 mAh unit for a 5,500 mAh cell with support for 90W fast wired charging. The Xiaomi 15T Pro has also been certified by the FCC, and that agency has mentioned it arriving in three storage versions: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. RAM will be 12GB for all three. Realme 15 and 15 Pro full specs leak just as the brand confirms more of them

The Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro are being announced on July 24, and the company is already engaged in a full-on teaser campaign for the duo. That said, so far the focus has primarily been the Pro. That changed today as Realme has put up a listing for the 'vanilla' 15, which confirms some of its specs. It's powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ SoC, and boasts a display with 144 Hz refresh rate and 6,500-nit peak brightness, bolder design, smarter AI, and sharper videos from its dual 50 MP 4K cameras. The Realme 15 is 7.66mm thin but still manages to fit a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. The phone is also IP69 certified for dust and water resistance. It will be offered in Silk Pink, Velvet Green, and Flowing Silver. The missing specs have been filled in by an Indian tipster over on X. He claims the screen size is 6.8", the rear cameras are a 50 MP main and an 8 MP ultrawide, the selfie camera is 50 MP, and there's an optical in-display fingerprint sensor too. The Realme 15 Pro seems to be incredibly similar, but is 0.03mm thicker, and has a 50 MP ultrawide camera, while being powered by the already officially confirmed Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. So the chipset, the ultrawide, and the marginal thickness increase seem to be the only differences between the two - well, aside from the price of course. Source 1 | Source 2

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is actually thinner than the Honor Magic V5

Here's a clear case of 'looking too much at spec sheets may not be very productive', especially when we're talking about 0.1mm differences. See, on paper, the Honor Magic V5 in one specific colorway (called Ivory White) is advertised by the brand to be 8.8mm thick when folded. Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold7, on the other hand, is 8.9mm thick when folded. So there's a clear winner here, right? A clear "world's thinnest book-style foldable', as it were. Well, not so fast. Place the two side by side and try to balance something off of them, as famed Chinese leaker Ice Universe has done in the video below, and the roles are reversed, as you can see - the Fold7 is clearly the thinner device. There is no accurate measuring tool, but we can still draw a rigorous conclusion: Galaxy Z Fold7 is the thinnest folding mobile phone in the world. I switched the positions of two mobile phones during the test, and the results remained the same, which showed that the factors of… — PhoneArt (@UniverseIce) July 15, 2025 So what gives? Well, it's all about the pre-applied screen protector on the Magic V5, which is not part of the official thickness measurement, but is, well, pre-applied, when you buy the phone, whereas the Samsung doesn't have such a perk. This just goes to show how irrelevant a 0.1mm thickness difference is in real life, despite brands loving to claim things like "world's thinnest" and "world's lightest". So please keep this in mind - you won't feel 0.1mm and you won't feel 1g in real life, thus it only makes sense to make your choice for buying a device based on claims like "world's thinnest" and "world's lightest" if you then want to brag to your friends about your device wearing such a (sometimes very short-lived) crown. In this day and age, a lot of foldables are already thin enough and light enough to be very comfortable to use even when folded, so we'd advise you to make your pick based on other traits they have which you require. What do you think, though? Is all of this too much hype or are even minute differences like these important to you? Let us know in the comments. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7
