Freddy Brazier 'skips brother Bobby's family birthday bash' amid feud with dad Jeff - as he admits he's 'sad all the time' in new TikTok video following mental health battle

Daily Mail03-06-2025
Freddy Brazier has reportedly skipped his brother Bobby's birthday bash amid his feud with dad Jeff Brazier over his relationship with grandmother Jackiey Budden - as he admitted he's sad in a new TikTok video.
EastEnders star Bobby turned 22 on June 2, and while other loved ones including his father and step-mum Kate were present, his sibling was noticeably absent.
Despite Freddy acknowledging the birthday online, it is said that there was 'sadness' felt by the family that Freddy wasn't there to celebrate in person.
Freddy was seen this week smoking suspicious looking cigarettes with Jackiey who he is said to now be living with.
A source told The Sun: 'It was a really nice family occasion but everyone really missed Freddie.
'He was of course invited but he is making his feelings quite clear at the moment about who he wants to be spending time with.'
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
They added: 'He did acknowledge that Bobby's birthday online but there was some sadness that he wasn't there with his brother.'
MailOnline have contacted representatives of Freddie for comment.
Meanwhile, Freddie sparked concern after he shared a TikTok implying he's 'sad all the time'.
A clip featuring personal photos containing images including brother Bobby and late mum Freddie, featured words that read: 'I feel sad all the time. I'm not the person I was!'
The video, set to a heartbreaking audio of a man expressing his sadness, Freddie's video continued with statements from the audio which said: 'I lost most of me and all the good stuff, all the happiness enjoying, I feel like I'm nothing you know?'
'People think I'm sort of OK you know? Like, I'm getting on with it, I'm snarky now and get, and this is a lapse. But it's not! This is me all the time now.
'I'm not well but I remember what it was like to be normal so I do an impression of that.
'But this is what I really am and I want to be normal again. But I'm weak you know?'
Captioning his post, Freddie penned: 'As a man, I bottle up my emotions and hide my feelings away. I rarely let them out to play. With all that's going on in the media right now emotions are high. Feelings are being felt and thoughts are being heard and played out.'
He then asked his male followers how they were mentally and urged them to speak out about how they felt and what's 'hurting them'.
His post was met with a plethora of supportive messages from fans.
It was revealed last month that Jeff is taking action in an attempt to legally block contact between Freddy and the mother of the late Big Brother star Jackiey Budden amid concerns over his welfare.
Jeff, shared both Freddy, 20, and Strictly's Bobby with the late Jade Goody who tragically died in 2009 from cervical cancer aged just 27.
Jeff has hired a leading barrister for the upcoming hearing which is the latest in part of a long-running feud between Jackiey and Jeff.
Speaking to MailOnline from her ground floor flat in Bermondsey, south east London, last month, Jackiey hit out at the proceedings.
She said: 'I know what this is all about. It (the situation with Jeff) doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.'
She asked: 'Do I want to see Freddy? Of course I do. I see Freddy all of the time. I will see him.'
One neighbour said: 'I feel sorry for Jackiey. She's been through so much. It's a complex situation. I just hope they can be all together again as a family. Her grandchildren mean the world to her.'
They added: 'How did it come to this that lawyers are apparently involved? She wants to be the best gran she can be to those boys.'
It was reported that Jeff has launched legal action in a bid to keep Freddy 'safe' from Jackiey.
According to The Sun Jeff is now attempting to block any contact between his youngest son and grandmother, 68, claiming the relationship has been 'incredibly detrimental'.
He is also said to have hired a top barrister for the upcoming hearings with a source insisting Jeff's actions prove just how 'concerned' he is.

BBC apologises to Robert Jenrick over suggestions he is xenophobic

The BBC has apologised to Robert Jenrick after a refugee charity boss suggested the shadow justice secretary is xenophobic during one of its radio shows. While appearing on Radio 4 's Today programme on Wednesday, Krish Kandiah, a director of Sanctuary Foundation, claimed Mr Jenrick had increased 'fear of the stranger' among people. Mr Kandiah added: 'The technical name for this is xenophobia. 'All phobias are by definition irrational. Nevertheless, they have a huge impact. 'Over the past year, xenophobia has fuelled angry protests outside hotels housing asylum seekers, deepening divisions in our communities.' Mr Jenrick later accused the broadcaster of smearing 'millions of worried citizens as 'xenophobic' for their completely understandable fears'. In a letter to the Conservative MP, the broadcaster's head of editorial standards Roger Mahony said the comments went 'well beyond' what is expected of its Thought For The Day segment. Mr Mahony said: 'I have concluded that, while its reflection on fear in society from a faith perspective is broadly in line with expectations of Thought For The Day, some of the language it used went beyond that. 'I have asked for the two references to xenophobia to be edited from the programme on BBC Sounds. Please accept my apology for their original inclusion.' The content has since been removed from the programme on BBC Sounds. Mr Jenrick said: 'Illegal migration is obviously fuelling crime and the public are right to be concerned about it. 'It's extremely disappointing the BBC thought it was acceptable to smear millions of worried citizens as 'xenophobic' for their completely understandable fears about undocumented men entering illegally.' A series of protests have been held outside the Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex, over recent weeks after an asylum seeker was accused of attempting to kiss a 14-year-old girl. Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, 38, denies the charges of sexual assault and is due to stand trial this month. In a statement, the BBC said: 'During this episode of Thought For The Day, criticism was made of recent comments by shadow secretary of state for justice Robert Jenrick, about hotels housing asylum seekers. 'While the programme's reflection on fear in society from a faith perspective was broadly in line with expectations of Thought For The Day, some of the language used went beyond that and we apologise for its inclusion. 'It has been removed from the version on BBC Sounds.'

Chesterfield heartbreakingly announce owner Phil Kirk's cancer treatment hasn't worked and he'll enter palliative care

CHESTERFIELD have confirmed the tragic news that owner Phil Kirk's cancer treatment has not been successful. Phil, who co-owns the League Two club with brother Ashley Kirk, will now enter palliative care. 4 A club statement announcing the heartbreaking news read: "Chesterfield Football Club owner Phil Kirk has been undergoing treatment for cancer in recent months. "Sadly, despite the best efforts of his medical team, the treatment has not been successful. Phil is now entering a period of palliative care. "Phil and his family remain deeply committed to the ongoing support of the club and its community. "The club will continue to operate as normal, and we are united in ensuring Phil's vision and values remain at the heart of everything we do." Phil was diagnosed with inoperable cancer in March. The outlook at the time was grim, and sadly the latest updates confirmed the club's worst fears. A club statement at the beginning of his treatment stated: "Over the next few months, he will be receiving treatment to prolong his life, but this is not expected to deliver a cure." 4 Fans and clubs from around the EFL have come forward with their condolences following the heartbreaking update. One Spireite fan gave testimony on X of the positive influence Phil and Ashley have had on the club since taking over in 2022. They said: "In all the 72 years of watching Chesterfield FC this is the saddest news I can ever remember coming from our club. "This man has made this club loved by young and old Phil this club and fans will never forget you." 4 4 Another fan added: This is deeply sad news. Phil, Ashley & everyone involved should be proud of the work done at town since their involvement. "His legacy will continue and town are in a much better place than when the Kirk family invested. Thoughts go to all." Since taking over, the brothers have invested over a million pounds on their way to earning the club promotion to the EFL at the end of the 2023-24 season. Their impressive campaign last season, their first in the EFL in six years, saw them earn their way into the playoffs with a seventh-place finish, where they were knocked out by Walsall. Their steady rise through the footballing pyramid, and the number of touching tributes from fans and rivals, is symbolic of the passion and the positive influence that the brothers have brought to the community in their limited time with the club thus far.

UK cinemas to host KPop Demon Hunters sing-alongs

Younger audiences will be singing their hearts out in cinemas across the UK this month as KPop Demon Hunters arrives on the big screen for a series of special sing-along events. The unexpected Netflix hit, which has become the most popular animated film of all time on the streaming platform, has hooked children (and many parents) worldwide since its release in June. The film's soundtrack, meanwhile, is dominating the charts with more than 3bn global streams so far and the song Golden reaching No 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and the UK's official singles chart. The official video has been viewed on YouTube more than 130m times. KPop Demon Hunters follows the adventures of the girl group Huntr/x, made up of Rumi, Mira and Zoey, who use their secret identities as demon hunters to protect their fans from supernatural threats and face off against a rival band, Saja Boys, whose members are secretly demons. Tickets are now on sale for the screenings across the UK on 23 and 24 August. Netflix confirmed similar events will be available in the US and Canada on the same weekend. Along with demand for a sequel, there is also an insatiable demand for its merchandise, with Hunter/x T-shirts, hoodies and hats among the bestselling items on Netflix's website. Maggie Kang, the film's Korean-Canadian co-director, previously said she and her co-director, Chris Appelhans, had wanted the film's music to be 'really incredible and really speak to the K-pop fans and legitimately fit into the K-pop space'. In contrast, Hollywood animation is having a lacklustre summer at the box office and it is possible that not a single fully animated film will make the top 10. The Disney-Pixar original Elio has been trounced by 'live-action' remakes of Lilo & Stitch and How to Train Your Dragon.
