Innocent teen wounded in shooting near Stonewall after NYC Pride — while girl who shot her then accidentally takes bullet, too: sources
The mayhem erupted around 10:15 p.m. when the 16-year-old, who was with some people, opened fire at another group during a street beef on Sheridan Square, just around the corner from the LGBTQ+ landmarked bar in Greenwich Village, law-enforcement sources said.
The young shooter struck the 17-year-old girl – a bystander who was not involved in the clash – in the leg, sources said.

Another person in the shooter's group then opened fire at their rivals a second time – but mistakenly hit her pal who fired the first shot, striking her in the head, sources said.
The 16-year-old girl was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition, and the 17-year-old bystander to Northwell Greenwich Village Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, cops said.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. The violence is not considered hate-crime-related, according to the sources.

Greenwich Village and specifically the Stonewall Inn, where the 1969 Stonewall Riots effectively marked the start of the country's gay-rights movement, has traditionally been at the heart of city's annual Pride celebration.
Mayor Eric Adams said he was briefed on the shooting after the parade in a statement he shared on social media.
'Saddened to learn about the shooting by the Stonewall Inn tonight as Pride celebrations were winding down,' Adams said on X. 'During a time when our city should be rejoicing and celebrating members of our diverse LGBTQ+ community, incidents like this are devastating.'

The shooting occurred several hours after a false report of gunfire during Pride celebrations at Washington Square Park sparked a stampede as thousands fled the packed greenspace.
A shirtless man had unleashed bear spray during or before the mad dash in the park and was taken into custody, police said.
More than 50 people were injured during the chaos — either by the stampede or the potent chemical spray, according to law-enforcement sources.

20 alleged Mossad spies arrested in Iran amid threat of execution, regime says
Iran has arrested 20 people it accuses of spying for the Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency — warning it will show no mercy. 3 shot in Times Square, 17-year-old suspect detained after late-night dispute
Three people were shot during an early morning shooting in New York City's iconic Times Square and police have detained a 17-year-old suspect. The gunfire erupted in the gun-free zone near the intersection of 44th Street and 7th Avenue – just feet from the Hard Rock Café and Carmine's Italian Restaurant -- at around 1:20 a.m. sending people running for cover. An 18-year-old woman and two men aged 19 and 65 were injured in the shooting, police told Fox News Digital. They were transported to Bellevue Hospital, where they remain in a stable condition and their injuries are not life-threatening, the police said. The shooting followed a dispute between two individuals, though authorities have not said what triggered the argument. The teen suspect was taken into custody, but no charges had been filed as of Saturday morning. Video posted online shows a chaotic scene with a heavy police presence and first responders tending to victims. One man was seen lying on the ground near an SUV before being placed on a gurney and loaded into an ambulance. A visibly distressed woman exited the same vehicle, though she did not appear to be injured. Police could not confirm whether any occupants of the SUV were among the victims. Police were unable to provide any further information and said the investigation is ongoing. This isn't the first time gun violence involving teens has rocked Times Square. In February 2024, a 15-year-old Venezuelan migrant was arrested after allegedly shooting a tourist in the leg at JD Sports and firing at an NYPD officer while fleeing the scene. Meanwhile, in April, a food cart vendor was shot just four blocks away from this morning's scene after a dispute with a group of young people.

3 Injured in Times Square Shooting
Three people were wounded in a shooting in Times Square early Saturday, according to the police, turning a crowded area of Midtown Manhattan into a crime scene. The shooting occurred at West 44th Street and Seventh Avenue, in one of the most popular tourist spots in the world, around 1:20 a.m., according to a spokeswoman for the New York Police Department. One person was in custody, but charges have not been filed, she said. The three victims — a 19-year-old man and a 65-year-old man with gunshot wounds to their lower limbs, and an 18-year-old woman with a graze wound to the neck — were taken to Bellevue Hospital and were likely to survive, the spokeswoman said. New York is in the thick of a mayor's race in which crime, especially in high-traffic spots like Times Square and subway stations, has been one of the defining issues. It took on even more prominence after Zohran Mamdani, who has drawn criticism for his remarks about the police, won the Democratic primary in July. Late last month, a gunman killed four people in an office building on Park Avenue, including an off-duty New York City police officer, before killing himself. The workplace shooting was particularly shocking in the center of the city. Still, New York saw the fewest shooting episodes and victims on record in the first seven months of 2025, according to the Police Department. After Saturday's shooting, the police shut parts of Seventh Avenue and Broadway in the area, and more than a dozen police cars lined the streets. Ahmed Talal was in his ice cream truck at Seventh Avenue in the mid-40s when he heard the gunshots. He said he looked down Seventh toward 45th and 44th Streets and saw three people running down the street in his direction, 'followed by about 10 cops.' An hour and a half after the shooting, there were crowds of people walking and gawking along the six blocks that the police had cordoned off. But it was about half the number of people he would normally see, even at 3 a.m. on a Saturday, Mr. Talal said. 'That's why I'm closing up early,' said Mr. Talal, who usually stays open until dawn on summer weekends, as he handed a waffle cone to a lone customer.
