As we get closer to the console's launch, here's all the best places where you can pre-order the Nintendo Switch 2.
The frenzy around last month's blowout for the Nintendo Switch 2 may have calmed down somewhat, but anticipation only looks set to build as we approach the console's launch.
The Switch 2's arrival on June 5, 2025 is officially less than a month away now, and many retailers have sold out around the world, in the face of unprecedented demand.
As the main highlight of the launch line-up, Mario Kart World looks set to be the game of the summer, with interconnected race tracks in an open world you can freely explore, along with the stellar new Knockout mode. More Trending
At launch, the Switch 2 base console costs £395.99, while a limited time Mario Kart World bundle is priced at £429.99. This bundle knocks off £33 from the game's digital price (£66.99), so it essentially costs half as much.
While many UK retailers have sold out at the time of writing, stock comes and goes often, so it's worth checking back at the below links.
Beyond the console itself, a number of accessories and games are up for pre-order across various retailers. This includes Donkey Kong Bananza, which is set to come out after the Switch 2 launches on July 17, 2025.
The accessories line-up includes a camera, a Switch 2 Pro Controller, a carrying case, and others. These are available at other retailers (at the same price), but the below links are from the My Nintendo Store. Mario Kart World – £74.99

'Devastated' Rod Stewart, 80, cancels concerts weeks before Glastonbury

Rod Stewart has described himself as 'devastated' after being forced to cancel a series of US concerts ahead of his Glastonbury set this month. The 80-year-old singer is scheduled to play at the iconic UK festival later this month, in its Sunday tea-time legends slot. However, the Maggie May singer has revealed that six more of his shows in the United States have had to be cancelled or rescheduled due to his falling ill. This comes after he was forced to cancel two shows in Las Vegas for the same reason. 'I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu,' he wrote on Instagram on Saturday. 'So sorry my friends. I'm devastated and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans. I'll be back on stage and will see you soon.' He signed off the post with a heartbreak emoji, next to his title as Knight of the Realm – Sir Rod. More Trending The following picture includes a list of the four cancelled shows in Las Vegas and Nevada, as well as two which will be rescheduled. This will come as particularly worrying news to those who had hoped to see Sir Rod perform at this year's Glastonbury on Sunday, June 29. He has hinted that the performance will include a reunion with former Faces bandmate, Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood. 'This is a great honour,' Alan Brazil on talkSPORT Breakfast, 'it really is the greatest honour.' Got a story? Stephen Graham had emergency operation on a plane to the US

Stephen Graham may be known for his intense on-screen performances, but his recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers showcased a very different side of the acclaimed British actor. A story the Adolescence star, 51, told on the show has gone viral online for good reason: It involves mid-air panic, unexpected medical heroics, and the actor 'dropping his kecks.' Prompted by Meyers' question about a particularly eventful journey to the United States, the A Thousand Blows star chuckled and admitted it had been 'a hell of an experience.' 'I'm of a certain age now,' Graham began. 'You know, once you hit 45, the trips to the loo start to rack up.' That complaint led the actor to seek a medical solution months prior – a non-invasive procedure designed to reduce frequent urination by slightly enlarging the prostate, often aided by a catheter. For a while, everything had been fine. That is, until Graham found himself at 10,000 feet and suddenly unable to urinate. 'It just didn't feel right,' he recalled. He returned to his seat and downed more water, hoping it would work itself out. But the next time he visited the toilet, things took a frightening turn. 'Long story short, I went, but it was just pure blood,' he said. 'It was very scary. I couldn't stop this trajectory of blood and I'm having a slight panic attack. I'm about to cry and I'm having a moment,' Graham added. Earlier that day, Graham had posed for a selfie at the gate with a fan, who, as luck would have it, was a doctor. Even better? The doctor's travel companion was a surgeon. Once the severity of Graham's situation became clear, the cabin crew sprang into action. 'Next minute, the doctor comes around the corner and goes, 'Stephen!' and I'm like, 'Doc! Hello!'' What happened next could rival the drama of any Graham-led series. The space between economy and first class was hastily converted into an operating bay. Curtains were drawn, medical kits opened, and the lounge area sterilized. More Trending 'I dropped me kecks, got on the couch, and they performed a catheter procedure right there,' Graham said. The cause? A blood clot that had lodged behind his urethra. But once it was removed, Graham described the relief in the most Graham way possible: 'It was one of the nicest experiences with me and my penis,' he quipped, grinning. 'I came running out like a kid who'd just learned to use the toilet.' He also made sure to commemorate the surreal incident: 'We took a photo at the end, me, the doctors, and the flight crew. Wonderful people.' What could have been a nightmare turned into a memorable, oddly uplifting tale of mid-air humanity – and one more reason fans continue to love Stephen Graham. Got a story? Bake Off legend claims she's been dropped by the BBC after 10 years on TV

Former Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain has claimed that the BBC have 'dropped' her after 10 years. The star, 40, rose to fame after winning the baking competition's sixth series, back when it still aired on BBC One, and featured Mary Berry as a judge next to last man standing Paul Hollywood. Since her 2015 win, Nadiya has become the most recognisable of the competition's winners, launching a series of cooking shows, TV appearances and cookbooks. These shows included Nadiya's Simple Spices, Nadiya's Everyday Baking, Nadiya's Cook Once, Eat Twice and more. However, her journey appears to have hit a 'turning point,' with the celebrity chef describing her reaction as the broadcaster decided not to commission her latest project. Addressing her fans in an emotional Instagram video post, Nadiya spoke of the 'trajectory of change' she's been on recently, and her feeling that as a Muslim woman, she isn't always supported by the industry. In the caption to the five-minute-long video, Nadiya wrote: 'Just a hello from me! Thank you to everyone for being on this journey with me, and I hope you can continue to stay on this journey with me. It wouldn't be what ibe (sic) is if it were not for you guys.' She went on to describe what had happened between herself and the BBC, revealing that 'there will be no more cookery show.' 'The BBC have decided that they didn't want to commission a show. And for me, that was a huge turning point because it's something I've done for the past 10 years. 'It was huge because I was already on this steady trajectory of change and I was thinking about where I wanted my career to go, and when the BBC decided they didn't want to commission the show anymore, it really did kind of solidify everything for me, and it made me dig my heels in and think 'OK, I know where I want to be.'' She continued: 'As a Muslim woman, I work in an industry that doesn't always support people like me or recognise my talent or full potential. 'There's a lot of gaslighting, making me feel like what's actually happening isn't happening.' She went on to say how she wanted to go on and 'work with people who believe in voices of people like me. Stories of people like me. I'm working some new things which I'm excited to tell you guys about.' In the comments below Nadiya's post, her followers shared messages of love, support and dismay at the BBC's decision. 'Thank you for using your platform and speaking up. You're not alone in this 🍉❤️' wrote maxlamanna. 'Start your own channel Nadiya. You don't need the beeb,' commented dublindeed. 'Adored you from the first moment you appeared on TV. Keep pushing for what you believe in, live your most authentic life. That is all that matters 💕' said sarahalicefloral. 'Your voice has a platform. No need for the beeb. Be you! 💕' said leannepowell1. A BBC spokesperson told The Mirror: 'After several wonderful series we have made the difficult decision not to commission another cookery show with Nadiya Hussain at the moment.' However, the BBC's comment does not rule out a future collaboration with the star. 'Nadiya remains a much-valued part of the BBC family, and we look forward to working together on future projects.' Elsewhere in the video, Nadiya spoke of how she had been struggling to post about food recently, due to her feelings on the situation in Gaza, and being 'unwell.' Last year, the mum-of-three revealed that she had been diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases after feeling 'sick and unwell.' She did not specify which conditions she had been diagnosed with, but said that she would speak more when she has a 'better handle' on them. In a video on Instagram, Nadiya explained: 'Over the course of two years, I've been quite unwell. I've just been getting quite sick. 'And over the course of the two years, I've been diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases, which I'm not going to go into now. 'I will go into in the future when I know more about it, and when I have a better handle on it and when I understand it a little bit better. 'But till then I cannot express the importance of listening to your body, of taking care of yourself.' Last year, she also sparked concern from fans after posting a picture of an empty cup of tea on Instagram. More Trending 'Sometimes. Some things have to end. In order to find love. That might be all the love you ever needed. '#Love #hearts #surprises #end #beginning,' she captioned the post – which contained a broken heart at the bottom of its mug.
