US Citizen Beaten To Death By Israeli Settlers In West Bank While Visiting Family
Sayfollah "Saif" Musallet, a 20-year-old Palestinian-American from Florida, was beaten to death by Israeli settlers in the West Bank while defending his family's land.
A 20-year-old Palestinian-American man was beaten to death allegedly by Israeli settlers while visiting family in the occupied West Bank, according to his family.
The deceased, identified as Sayfollah 'Saif" Musallet, a resident of Florida, was brutally attacked by Israeli settlers near his family's farm in the town of al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya, north of Ramallah, the family said in a statement on social media and confirmed to NBC News.
Musallet had travelled from his home in Florida to visit family in Palestine, his cousin Fatmah Muhammad said in a social media post.
His family said that a group of Israeli settlers assaulted Musallet while he was defending his land, and then blocked ambulances from reaching him for three hours. He died from his injuries before he could reach the hospital.
'I was the first one to reach Saif," said Mohammed Nael Hijaz, a 22-year-old friend of the victim. 'He was not moving when I got there and he could barely breathe. There was time to save him," he told The Guardian.
Musallet had been visiting the West Bank since early June and had recently opened an ice cream business with his father in Tampa, family members told CNN. 'He was a very sweet guy, full of hopes and dreams," Hijaz added.
'We are devastated that our beloved Sayfollah Musallet (nicknamed Saif) was brutally beaten to death by Israeli settlers while he was protecting his family's land from settlers who were attempting to steal it. Saif was a brother and a son, just starting the prime of his life. He was a kind and hard-working and deeply respected young man. Saif built a successful business in Tampa and was known for his generosity, ambition and connection to his Palestinian heritage. We demand justice," the family said in a statement, urging the US State Department to hold those responsible accountable.
Another Palestinian, identified by the Health Ministry as Mohammed Shalabi, was fatally shot by settlers during the attack, Al Jazeera reported.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military acknowledged the confrontation and said it was 'aware of reports concerning a Palestinian civilian" killed in the incident, adding that the case is under review by the Israeli Security Agency and police.
Hundreds of thousands of Israeli settlers live in developments built in Palestinian territories that are widely considered illegal by the international community. Since October 2023, when Hamas attacked southern Israel, sparking the war in Gaza, violence perpetrated by settlers in the West Bank has surged, often aided or abetted by Israeli security forces.

All about US teenager's unsolved death in 2015 Palestinians threw rocks at Israeli settlers The Israeli military said it is looking into what happened in Sinjil. Officials said the fight began when Palestinians threw rocks at Israeli settlers, hurting some of them slightly. Military forces were sent to the scene and used non-lethal means to break up the crowds. Rights groups say violence by settlers in the West Bank has increased since Israel's war with Hamas in Gaza started in late 2023. Meanwhile, dozens of Israelis have also died in street attacks by Palestinians in recent years, and Israeli forces have stepped up their raids across the West Bank. In January, US President Donald Trump removed sanctions that the earlier Biden administration had placed on some Israeli settlers and groups accused of attacking Palestinians in the West Bank, according to Reuters report. US citizens killed in the West Bank Over the past few years, other US citizens have been killed in the West Bank too — including Palestinian American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, teenager Omar Mohammad Rabea, and Turkish American activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi. Last year the UN's highest court stated that Israel's occupation of Palestinian lands such as the West Bank, as well as settlements located there, was illegal and should soon come to an end. This was not an agreement by Israel, which continues to assert its deep historical and biblical ties to the land which it took during the 1967 war in the Middle East. West Bank is one of the regions Palestinians would like to have as part of their own independent country.

Trump backing off from Epstein case? Tim Dillon claims US prez is scared as he 'knows that they'll kill him'
President Donald Trump called on his supporters Saturday to stop turning on his administration over the release of government findings in the Jeffrey Epstein case. Following Trump's comments, comedian and podcaster Tim J. Dillon suggested that the US President may be staying quiet on the Epstein case out of fear for his safety. Tim J. Dillon weighed in with a video suggesting that Donald Trump may be staying quiet on the Epstein case out of fear for his safety(AFP, Facebook) 'I think Trump knows that they'll kill him,' Dillon said. 'Do you think it doesn't cross his mind that all these people have died? Do you think that doesn't enter into his mind?' Dillon's comments echo the broader distrust among parts of the American public, especially on the right, who have long believed the Epstein case is bigger than the government claims. But for now, Trump appears focused on holding his base together even if it means tamping down the very theories that helped fuel support for him in the past. The comments came after a memo from Department of Justice and FBI, made public last week, stated there was no evidence that Epstein kept a 'client list' or was blackmailing high-profile individuals. The agencies also dismissed the long-standing theory that Epstein was murdered while in jail, confirming again that his 2019 death at a New York prison was a suicide. They also said they would not be releasing any further information from the probe, according to NBC news report. Also Read: 'Turned a blind eye': Leaked audio claims FBI 'missed things' in Jeffrey Epstein case Pam Bondi and Kash Patel slammed The announcement drew backlash from some figures on the far-right, including longtime Trump loyalists. Many took to social media to criticize Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, both Trump appointees, accusing them of covering up details about Epstein's connections. 'What's going on with my 'boys' and, in some cases, 'gals?' They're all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!' Trump wrote in a long post on Truth Social. 'We're on one Team, MAGA, and I don't like what's happening. We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and 'selfish people' are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein,' he added, referencing his Make America Great Again movement.
