Ada Choi on husband's heart problem: I felt so guilty!
19 Aug - Following Max Zhang's viral story about how he had a near-death experience with a heart attack back in April, Ada Choi recently shared her side of the story during the press conference of her new drama, "Behind the Queen". The actress, who was asked about Max's story, where he revealed he experienced a heart attack while she was waiting to ride the duck boat, shared that the actor actually felt unwell twice in March prior to their trip, but his ECG showed nothing worrying. "Then in April, while we were in Singapore having fun, he suddenly couldn't breathe, couldn't move, and couldn't speak. He had to sit down to the side. I was so bad, I actually left him to go ride the duck boat, thinking he just had a cold. But later, seeing how pale he was, I knew something was seriously wrong. After a while, he said he was okay," she said. Ada said that it was the next morning that Max finally told her what happened while tearing up. "He told me that at that moment, looking at the four of us, he thought that if he lay down, he might never get back up again and he had to force himself to stand up. He cried as he told me this. I had never seen him like that before," she said. The actress said that upon returning to Hong Kong, Max had to undergo angioplasty after further tests showed that one of his arteries was more than 80 percent blocked. "When I found out about it, I felt so guilty. I got down on my knees and cried, wondering how I could have failed so badly as a wife. I just hugged him and thanked God he was okay. If something had happened to him, I would've gone crazy," she said. Ada also assured that the actor is doing much better now, and that he has already returned to mainland China to film "Call Me By Fire". "He's fine after the surgery. He's very busy filming now, so we don't get to talk daily, but the production team is looking after him. So, I feel more reassured," she said. (Photo Source: Ada Choi IG)

'Reacher' Season 4's Streaming Status is Safe. For Now
While there's not yet a release for Reacher Season 4, one of the major corporations behind the show, Paramount, has undergone a major shakeup. Following a merger between Skydance Media and Paramount, certain aspects of how shows produced by Paramount will be streamed might change. But it seems Reacher will stay the same, at least for now. Although Reacher is distributed by and co-produced on Amazon Prime Video, the show is also produced by Paramount Television Studios. And now that Paramount has merged with Skydance, some behind-the-scenes stuff will change. But, according to Deadline, that shouldn't impact the viewer experience in the short Reacher still stream on Amazon Prime Video? As of this writing, the Paramount and Skydance merger will not impact the streaming distribution of Reacher Season 4. As pointed out by Screenrant: "It seemed apparent that, given its success, the merger wouldn't negatively impact the series' fate. However, it does mean CBS Studios will no longer be in charge, the baton passing to PTVS as the franchise continues. But this doesn't negatively impact the show." In the first half of 2025, Reacher easily made it into the top 10 most-streamed shows, according to several metrics, including the Nielsen ratings. Overall, Reacher is one of the biggest hits for Prime Video, meaning a switch to another streamer, like Paramount+, seems Season 4 and Neagley release dates Reacher Season 4 began production in June 2025. Meanwhile, the Reacher spinoff show, Neagley, finished filming on June 7, 2025. Both Reacher Season 4 and Neagley Season 1 will likely be released in 2026, though it's possible Neagley could debut later this year. 'Reacher' Season 4's Streaming Status is Safe. Emmys 2025: What to know ahead of television's biggest night
The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards are almost here. The annual awards show will celebrate the best in television that aired between June 2024 to May 2025. Ahead of television's biggest night, we're sharing everything you need to know about who is hosting, nominated and more. Who is hosting? Nate Bargatze is hosting this year's show. When the news was announced, the actor and comedian called it a "huge honor" and that he's "beyond excited" in a press release. Leading up to the Emmys, he told Stephen Colbert in June that he "wants everyone to have a good time" and will try to make the show "as lively as fun in the moment." Bargatze has been called "The Nicest Man in Stand-Up" by The Atlantic magazine. His sold-out shows have broken venue attendance records with 1.2 million tickets sold in 2024. Who is nominated? "The Studio" led the pack with 23 nominations. The comedy series, which stars Seth Rogen, tied the record for the most nominations in a single year with 23, according to a press release. The record was originally set by "The Bear" in 2024. In the drama category, "Severance" came out on top with 27 nominations. See the full list here. How to watch the 2025 Emmys? The 77th Emmy Awards will broadcast live on Sunday, Sept. 14, on the CBS Network and be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. When are the Creative Arts Emmy Awards? The Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place over two nights. The awards ceremonies will highlight winners in the behind-the-scenes categories, including casting, costume design, picture editing, production design, sound mixing and more. The 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place on Saturday, Sept. 6, and Sunday, Sept. 7. Are there any winners so far? Last week, the Television Academy announced the winners of the 77th Emmy Awards in juried categories from animation, costume, emerging media programming and motion design. According to a press release, "juried category entrants are screened by a panel of professionals in the appropriate peer groups (Animation, Costume Design, Emerging Media Programming, and Motion and Title Design) with the possibility of one, more than one or no entry awarded an Emmy." It adds, "As a result, there are no nominees but instead a one-step evaluation and voting procedure. Deliberations include open discussions of each entrant's work with a thorough review of the merits of awarding the Emmy." Beyoncé Knowles-Carter was among the winners for outstanding costumes for variety, nonfiction or reality programming for her Netflix special, "Beyoncé Bowl." She, along with winners in the rest of the juried categories, will be presented their Emmy awards during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony. It's unclear if Beyoncé will attend just yet. Who won last year? "Shōgun" was the big winner at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards. The American historical drama television series by Rachel Kondo and Justin Marks won the most Emmys of any other program, including outstanding drama series. In total, the show took home 18 statuettes between the Creative Arts Emmys and Primetime Emmy Awards ceremonies. "The Bear" was also a big winner of the night with 11 total wins. In the comedy category, "Hacks" took home the award for outstanding comedy series, while "Baby Reindeer" walked away with the Emmy for outstanding limited or anthology series.
