Euro-Mediterranean Monitor: Aid inflow propaganda shot for Israel

Saba Yemen20-05-2025

Gaza - Saba:
Rami Abdo, head of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, confirmed that what has been discussed so far regarding the entry of aid is nothing more than "a propaganda show that does not even merit respect for people's intelligence."
Abdo told the Palestinian Shehab News Agency: "People are in urgent need of thousands of aid trucks, while the talk so far is about five trucks that have not entered deep into Gaza. Rather, the occupation deliberately obstructed their entry until yesterday evening, and they reached the Palestinian side via the Kerem Shalom crossing."
He added, "What has entered the Palestinian side are five trucks carrying various goods in small quantities, including, according to preliminary observations, nutritional supplements, baby food, some hay, and shrouds."
Abdo continued, "It is clear that we are witnessing a blatant disregard for international demands to deliver food to the starving in Gaza. These trucks are not enough to meet the needs of 2% of the population for one day."
He explained that, "Assuming that the five trucks are loaded with food supplies, this means that each Gazan will receive 30 grams of food per person."

Anti-Aggression parties affirm support for armed forces in responding to any U.S. attack on Iran

Sana'a – Saba: The coalition of anti-aggression political parties and forces affirmed its full support for the stance of the Yemeni Armed Forces, as declared in their statement on Saturday, regarding their readiness to respond to any U.S. aggression against Iran by targeting American ships and warships in the Red Sea should Washington engage in such an aggressive venture. In a statement obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the coalition clarified that the position expressed by the Yemeni Armed Forces does not merely represent a legitimate defensive stance within the nation's broader struggle. Rather, it reflects a religious and moral commitment to opposing projects of hegemony and neocolonialism, as well as a principled stand in support of the nation's causes against the U.S.-Zionist alliance of evil. The coalition reiterated that Yemen, with its people, leadership, and free national forces, will remain steadfast in the battlefield and will not hesitate to support liberation and resistance causes, rejecting any aggression targeting the peoples and sovereignty of the nation. The statement noted that the anti-aggression coalition is closely monitoring the dangerous escalation led by the U.S. alongside the Zionist entity in an aggressive scheme targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran. This escalation is a direct continuation of ongoing war crimes against the peoples of the region, foremost the Palestinian people in Gaza, as well as the Lebanese and Syrian peoples, and the repeated targeting of Yemen. Al-Quds Brigades detonate minefield & explosives targeting zionist soldiers & vehicles in southern Gaza

Gaza – Saba: Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine, announced on Saturday that they had detonated a minefield and high-explosive devices targeting Zionist enemy soldiers and vehicles in the southern Gaza Strip. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the Brigades stated: "After returning from the battlefront, our fighters confirmed their success in detonating a field of mines and high-explosive land devices targeting Zionist enemy soldiers and vehicles advancing in Al-Sunati area east of Khan Younis." This operation comes as part of the Palestinian resistance factions' response to the genocide crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza, with American support, since October 7, 2023. These crimes include killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, disregarding international appeals and the International Court of Justice's orders to halt them.
