In one of our old interviews, Rupali spoke about facing mother's guilt. She had shared, "Behind every hero, there's an unsung mother but behind me are my son and my husband. When I left home to become Anupamaa from Maa, he let me do it. He did cry and misses me a lot. I can't get over my mother's guilt. I feel we women wherever we work we do it with guilt.
We are blessed to have husbands who are proud of us and who are such fantastic role models for our children."
While audiences applaud her on-screen portrayal of a woman navigating motherhood and selfhood in Anupamaa, Rupali is quietly living that journey in real life with all the emotion.

Uttarakhand's folk literature to be digitised, linguistic map of state dialects to be created

Dehradun: Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday directed officials to take steps toward digitising Uttarakhand's dialects, folk tales, folk songs, and literature. "An e-library should be established for this purpose, and a linguistic map of the state's dialects prepared. In addition to expanding collections of folk tales, audio-visual materials should also be created," he said while chairing the general assembly and management executive committee meeting of the Uttarakhand Bhasha Sansthan (Language Institute) at the Secretariat. A decision was also taken that the ancient 'Bakna' singing of the Pandavani tradition in the Jaunsar Bawar region will be documented for preservation. The Institute will conduct comprehensive literary collections of renowned playwright 'Govind Ballabh Pant,' compile literature published 50 to 100 years ago by Uttarakhand writers in various Indian journals and undertake research projects for the preservation and study of Uttarakhand's high Himalayan and tribal languages. Two literary villages will also be established to promote creative writing and foster dialogue among writers in natural settings. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với mức chênh lệch giá thấp nhất IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Dhami also urged schools to hold weekly speech, essay, and other competitions in local dialects and suggested that books, not bouquets, be presented during official visits. It was also decided that the prize money for the Uttarakhand Sahitya Gaurav Samman will be increased from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 5.51 lakh. The state govt is also introducing a long-term literary service award with a prize amount of Rs 5 lakh. Mobile libraries will be set up to serve remote areas, and the Institute will collaborate with leading publishers to expand access to books on various subjects. "The Language Institute will also create short videos in local dialects to spark children's interest in folk languages," Dhami added.

Court dismisses Justin Baldoni's $400 million defamation suit against Blake Lively; rules her harassment claims are legally protected

In a major legal setback, Justin Baldoni's $400 million defamation lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds has been dismissed by a judge. The court upheld that Lively's sexual harassment allegations are legally protected. Lively's legal team hailed the decision as a victory, planning to pursue attorneys' fees and damages against Baldoni, accusing him of abusive litigation. A judge on Monday threw out Justin Baldoni 's $400 million defamation lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds , ruling that Lively's sexual harassment allegations are legally protected and cannot be challenged in court. Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Justin Baldoni's sweeping $400 million lawsuit — which included claims of defamation, extortion, and more — ruling most of it legally baseless. However, the court granted Baldoni permission to amend and refile limited claims related to alleged interference with contracts. Blake Lively's legal team celebrated the court's decision, calling it 'a total victory and a complete vindication' not just for Lively, but also for those named in what they described as a 'retaliatory lawsuit,' including Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane, and The New York Times. Labeling the $400 million suit a 'sham,' the lawyers said the court 'saw right through it.' They added that they now plan to pursue attorneys' fees, treble damages, and punitive damages against Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer co-founders and other parties involved in the 'abusive litigation. ' Blake Lively has filed a federal lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and retaliation. In his Monday ruling, Judge Lewis J Liman found that the original allegations—filed with the California Civil Rights Department and later shared with The New York Times—were protected under litigation privilege, a legal safeguard that shields such claims from defamation lawsuits. Judge Liman also ruled that The New York Times was shielded by the 'fair report' privilege, which protects media outlets from defamation claims when reporting accurately on legal proceedings.
